This was the best used car buying experience I have ever had in my life. I was a first time customer at this dealership, and General Manager Pete Stoddard treated me like a relative. Not kidding. 1) Gave m had in my life. I was a first time customer at this dealership, and General Manager Pete Stoddard treated me like a relative. Not kidding. 1) Gave me a deal on the sticker price of my used Subaru, with a mere mention of "talking about the price". Boom... gave me the deal I was thinking in my head without me having to ask for it. I didn't even buy a Toyota and was treated like I bought 10 loaded Avalons. 2) Pete Stoddard not only read my smart-buy lease agreement so he could make sure I wouldn't be squeezed by my previous car company (GM), he called my previous car dealer himself, in Virginia, to ask to make sure I could return my car without owing any remainder on my balloon payment. 3) I had chosen to trade in my leased car and roll the remainder of the Smart Buy balloon payment into my new car loan because I knew KBB was 1500 below what I owed on my car. I was upside down. I didn't want to get the scratch on my car fixed because it would cost me to take it to the body shop. 4) Pete offered.... free of charge and HIS IDEA.... to take my leased GM car to his reconditioning guys and let them work on it for an hour. So I could turn my car in and not worry about paying a body shop to fix a scratch. ---At THAT offer, I informed him he had officially sold me more than ONE car. I'm now telling my friends, and already planning to buy my next car from White River Toyota. 5) I returned my car to the GM dealer after I bought my little Subaru, because Pete asked me to call his direct line when I was done with the GM return paperwork at the GM dealer. He would send someone over to pick me up. Which he did, as soon as I was done. I barely had to wait. He kept me (and probably 30 other people) on his mind that whole day. 6) I returned with the person he sent to pick me up and bring me back, to find that Pete had my Subaru detailed, filled with gas.... and rechecked. He said his mechanic found my rear brakes were a little low on my new Subaru... so he told his mechanic to put in new rear brakes.... at no charge to me, and without my asking him to do it. At that point, I was completely blown away. I have never, ever had such a positive experience with any car dealership, ever. I not only would buy another car from White River Toyota, I am telling everyone to go there. And I WILL buy my next car from White River Toyota. Because no matter if I buy a new Forerunner, or a used Subaru.... I'm looked out for and protected like a sister. Knowing a car dealer would treat me like a relative is worth it's weight in gold. I'd be crazy to go anywhere else. More

One of the sales manager said " Please don't waste my time, Go look in our yard and let me know which car you want" and that was an unexpected word from a sales manager, next I went to Honda Dealer in Lebanon NH, He was quite helpful in explaining things he gave me the car and asked me to drive around, he dint show me all the features of the car of which i don't know much. He even dint come with me for test ride, but at white river toyota I was welcomed with great smile, and was explained about their dealer ship Service manager showed me the service center and introduced me to senior Mechanics and my sales rep Damon was awesome, he explained me about my the car and tried his best in gaining my trust. He promised me two free Oil changes when i asked him if white river toyota would give me anything to show their generosity of buying a car from them " I waiting to get the oil changes" :). And the biggest part is I changed my Loan from the Toyota Dealer to service credit union at the last moment and it was late to get the approval for the dealer from the bank online, Damon trusted the me and gave me the car with dealer title before getting the loan approval with dealer title. That shows how much they care for customers and I would definitely recommend White River toyota, at-least give it a try before choosing Nissan Dealer. Raj More

I never felt that he was trying to pressure me into buying a car, but I did feel that was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and a terrific salesman. I never felt that he was trying to pressure me into buying a car, but I did feel that he was open to negotiating a good deal on the car, and if I was willing to buy one, he do everything he could to facilitate that. He provided important information about the cars in which I was interested and really pointed me in the direction of the car that was best for me. After the deal was completed, he has been in contact with me regularly answering questions and helping me to get all the details worked out with financing and car maintenance. I bought the car five or six days ago and have talked to him on the phone three or four times since. He's really been a gem. More
