The sales was handled mostly by text and email. There was a huge amount of dog hair and other dirt I the console and rear air ducts. There was only one key and no manual. I put down a deposit 24 hours in advance and had an appointment. It seems the car could have been ready and at least an offer to obtain a manual for me. When we arrived we were traveling on a donut on our car, as we had a flat on the way down. When we asked the service Dept for assistance so that we could travel back home in that car( we were not trading in) we were turned away. This was at 4pm on a Saturday evening and My fiancé had to travel home 75 miles on the spare with snow in the forecast. Danielle was helpful and very pleasant. She actually picked up the car early that morning from another location. I appreciate her efforts on our behalf. No one went over any systems in the car. I was given a key and sent on my way. While I was treated kindly the overall experience was less than great More

We worked with Lester as our salesman and highly recommend him: kind, friendly, low key, straightforward. Scott, the sales manager, is our single complaint. When all was signed and it was time to go, there turned out to be only one key. When we approached him, he said among other things, sorry, we aren’t making enough money on the car, and it will cost you as much as it costs me. Which doesn’t make sense at any rate, but I told him that wasn’t very nice when we weren’t even off the lot. Then he said, well, Lester and I will buy one for you. I don’t care how he looks at it, but it was terrible form to put it on his salesman as if he had anything to do with it. Anyway, Lester made the p.o. and appointment for us then and there, and when I returned, the service dept followed through on it with no problem and were quick and friendly to boot. When we were making the deal, Scott also made a verbal commitment to deal personally on our behalf with Subaru corporate to try to fix a (hopefully cosmetic) problem with the touch screen since he thought, he said, that it could still be covered under warranty. I don’t expect him to follow up on that in light of his hesitancy to provide the key, but it remains to be seen and would be great if he did. So all’s well that ends well, and we do love the car and the deal we got and really did appreciate all of the service with the exception mentioned. More

Eyesight Replacement Because the Eyesight system failed just beyond the warranty creating a safety issue and because the replacement, which the service dept. had never don Because the Eyesight system failed just beyond the warranty creating a safety issue and because the replacement, which the service dept. had never done before would be very expensive, White River and Subaru picked up the tab. It took a long time and several trips, but I expected that. It was handled well. This would be a 5 and not a 4 if communications back and forth had been better. More
