However, then we went into the finance office and met Gus and Paul who would not allow us to keep the deal we were hoping for because of our credit rating. I just wish that the finance office was more upfront with us from the beginning instead getting our hopes up. We were there for 3 hours just to pick up the car. I'm happy with the car, but it was an exhausting experience when it came to the finance department. We are paying $16 more per month then we had agreed to and I feel that was unnecessary. More

I cannot say enough about my experience at White Plains Honda. I had just moved from California and the day I walked into the dealership was literally my second day in White Plains, NY. I am a fan of Honda but my initial experience with that other dealership left me with a bad feeling of having to deal with not another typical dealership with the same 'sell, sell, sell' mentality, not caring about what the customer really wanted. Fortunately, when I arrived at White Plains Honda, the receptionist kindly greeted me right away and I was introduced to my sales-person, Alex. I had plenty of questions and was still unsure of what I wanted to do but he was extremely patient and suggested we take a look at some cars. He asked me plenty of questions about what I was looking for and seemed sincere in wanting to help me. His professional demeanor was accompanied with a friendly attitude which kept me at ease. The previous sales-person I dealt with did not have the same kind of integrity and honest quality that Alex exhibited. I am now the proud owner of a 2010 silver Honda Civic.
