I had a very positive car buy experience with White Plains Honda Their pricing was very competitive compared to other dealers. When I called the dealership to enquire about the car, Roger provided me all the information in a very courteous and professional way. When I walked in, Roger was very helpful and was very upfront about what they could and could not do in terms of pricing. Throughout the process Roger and Zeeshan made sure that the customer has a good buying experience. Unlike the usual dealers they did not use any pushy sales tactics. Zeeshan specifically mentioned that they would like me to have a good buying experience and therefore they do not want to overpromise and under-deliver and also that they do not want to push me into buying something that I would regret later. True to their word, they kept their promises and performed the repairs and replaced old tyres with brand new ones. Zeeshan also offered first free service whenever it comes due, which I am not sure I would ever be using considering the distance between my residence and the dealership. Nevertheless, they were generous to offer it. I had complications with my trade-in as the title of my trade-in car did not reflect the lien holder. I did not want to take the risk of giving the title without actually being paid. Initially, Hamid tried to stick with their standard norms My House My Rules. However, they were quick enough to realize that it will not work out. Thanks to Jerzey's diplomacy. We had two rounds of conference call with my bank and finally they agreed to pay me instead of my bank which is what my bank and I wanted. Due to my title complications, and scepticism from a very bitter car shopping experience in the past, I admit, I was a pain for them but they handled the situation with utmost patience. After a week Zeeshan gave a courtesy call to check if the vehicle is fine and also offered to take care of any problems if existed. We were happy with our experience at this dealer. We arrived wanting a 2-3 year old CR-V with leather and a sunroof, and Zeeshan found us a 2-year old car that he brought down to just around our price r arrived wanting a 2-3 year old CR-V with leather and a sunroof, and Zeeshan found us a 2-year old car that he brought down to just around our price range. Judging by the Blue Book value I subsequently looked at, I think this was a pretty good price, and other Honda dealers in the area were not offering the same. We then wanted some touch-ups and new tyres, and they did all that for us, allowing us to test drive the car again in the meantime. So I think they did a pretty good job for us. Zeeshan also explained honestly what he could and could not do - e.g. he could not do a complete respray of the paintwork to hide all the scratches, but he could change the tyres - so we were clear before the work began. Ultimately, we feel comforted by the 2-year guarantee we have and think we got a pretty good deal. Roger, the other dealer we met, was very helpful. We needed assistance after the sale (no fault of the dealer), and he came to our house to help us, offering to come again as necessary. So plus points again, for customer service. To top things off, Zeeshan offered us our first oil change for free. I never expect buying a used car to be risk-free, but we had no real problems this time and are happy with the purchuse so far.
