I have never had such a positive experience with a car dealer before. My husband and I have leased for fifteen (15) years, this is the first time with Honda. We walked in and a salesperson greeted us wit dealer before. My husband and I have leased for fifteen (15) years, this is the first time with Honda. We walked in and a salesperson greeted us with a warm friendly face: Mae. We came back the second time because of her. She helped us decide which car would be right for us and let us make our own decision. After we leased the car we were introduced to Kurt the financial person. Again the most positive experience, warm and friendly. Lastly we met Tiffany, friendly and knowledgeable. Tiffany took all the time we needed. We would strongly recommend Honda of White Plains to our friends. Again Mae Soleiman was the reason we returned. Sincerely, Barbara and Robert Confino More
I called this dealer in advance and asked if they would honor an advertisement from another dealer. I was motivated to buy when I showed up and spoke with Mae, she was friendly and said they would honor t honor an advertisement from another dealer. I was motivated to buy when I showed up and spoke with Mae, she was friendly and said they would honor the deal. After bringing it to her manager, she started laying the groundwork to convince me the deal no good. Unwavering, I said I wanted the deal. Then the manager came out and said they couldn't honor it because they didn't recognize the deal and tried to convince me it was a bait-and-switch ad, which it is not. I asked if they were going to try and match it and they said No which boggles my mind. I was clear that I would have bought a car tonight, and they could have closed a deal in under an hour. But instead they walked away empty handed. I shouldn't have been too surprised because while I waited, I heard another sales person feeding a customer a bunch of bull over the phone. I only knew it was bull because 2 other sales people were laughing out loud at his comments. That really set the stage for me that these guys are stereo-typical car salesmen, which is really unfortunate. And then my sales person and manager went on to make a really poor business decision, and pass on an easy sale. If I owned that dealership, I would fire these clowns and hire a bunch of honest go-getters who are interested in selling good cars at good prices. More
I thought the service in general was great. My only qualm with the overall experience was when we came to pick up my car. Very impressed with the overall experience with WP Honda. Salesman was very thorough; finance gentleman thorough and attentive; Brandi - great PR front woman! WP was able to deliver two 2012 Hondas, which Salesman was very thorough; finance gentleman thorough and attentive; Brandi - great PR front woman! WP was able to deliver two 2012 Hondas, which our other Honda dealer was unable to commit to, nor did other dealers care to follow through. Just a word of advice to a customer service business - follow through is important - you never know if there's a sale around the bend! WP got two sales, instead of one.... More
This has been discussed with your dealership but i will repeat that the negotiation process was ridiculous and when a price was finally agreed upon, we were happy. When we showed up to pick up the car, the repeat that the negotiation process was ridiculous and when a price was finally agreed upon, we were happy. When we showed up to pick up the car, the price had changed. It was sleazy and distasteful and we felt ripped off. in addtion, the music playing in the showroom is too loud and the signal is interrupted so it does not create an inviting shopping atmosphere. The dealership was bright and cheerful. We were greeted in a friendly way by everyone who worked there. David Nausch was polite friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in. We d in a friendly way by everyone who worked there. David Nausch was polite friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in. We did not feel pressured. He was able to match other dealers prices and made the purchase very simple. The women who demonstrated the car on delivery was also excellent and knowledgeable and made picking up the car a pleasure. The finance person was also very pleasant and helpful as well More
I bought a certified pre-owned pilot(2007) a year ago(in Apr 2010). When I saw the car the first time, the vehicle had just come int the lot, I guess. The dealership, in collusion with the service-center(Wh Apr 2010). When I saw the car the first time, the vehicle had just come int the lot, I guess. The dealership, in collusion with the service-center(White Plains Honda Service), did a rush job on the certification process and sold me a pilot that has a malfunctioning AC. There is some kind of leak in the freon gas system that, 2 months after I bought the car, there was only hot air blowing out of the AC fan. (I bought this vehicle is April 2010, that was one of the things that I did not verify whether it was functioning). I took it to the White Plains service center(the same one that did the inspection to make it CPO), and they could not 'find' the leak. They just refilled the freon and told me to comeback in a couple of weeks. I did that, they did not even check if there was a leak. The AC seem to be okay during the summer since then, but it was never as cold as the Accord I have. This was attributed to the fact that Pilot is a large car. And I did not know any better(you can guess how I feel now). Fast forward a year later, summer time, guess what I find out when I turned on the AC. No freon gas. I took it to the service center. They still cannot find the leak. It seemed incredulous to them that this is indeed a gas leak. They hinted at another reason: there could have been an accident that caused this. The co-incidence of this happening, or I deliberately caused something to lose this freon in 2 consecutive years, seemed plausible to these guys. I have the extended warranty. But I cannot be refunded unless they find a leak and repair the leak. Now I am liable for the work that they did: emptying the freon(not exactly sure what they emptied) and for recharging it and for the labour spent investigating the problem. My gripe with the dealership is for having done a rush job in getting the car certified. It was not clean, one of the remote control batteries were dead. The entertainment system batteries were dead. And they sold me a service plan that has been useless to me, so far. More
BAIT & SWITCH. Don’t fall for this BAIT & SWITCH. I found car online - a New 2010 Honda Fit with only 56 miles for less than $15,000. Called for availability. Roslin said she would check b SWITCH. I found car online - a New 2010 Honda Fit with only 56 miles for less than $15,000. Called for availability. Roslin said she would check but asked me if I would be interested in similar cars with similar savings. I said of course but I wanted to see the car in the listing. She said the car was there. I brought the online listing with me. (Similar...seems to be their MO) When I got there, I asked for Roslin and was told she just answers the phone for internet calls but a very friendly salesman, James, said he would help me. First he told me they couldn't find the car and would look for it. He spoke to a manager who could see I was ready to leave and he said "just sell her a 2011 model for the same price." So I sat down. James was gone for a few minutes then came back and said he wanted to show me some of the features that are different between the 2010 and the 2011. He showed me a 2011 Fit Sport and offered a test drive. I said I had driven them and just wanted the bottom line price. I kept asking about the 2010 I came to see, he finally said it sold over the weekend and because of the holiday didn't get into the computer. He said he could give me "a similar" deal on the new one. He came back with a price of 19,100 or about 20,900 with tax. destination, plates, etc. I got a better price at a local dealer for a Fit with a lot of extras. I told him I could have done better at my local dealer on a Fit Sport and wouldn't drive all the way back there for that. He then cut the final price (with tax, destination, plates etc. to 19,800, then to 19,300.) I started to leave again and he asked what price I needed. I said I came there because they advertised a "new" 2010 car for the price "used" 2010 car was selling for. James said "If you want a used car..." I said no, I wanted a new car. I came there because the advertised a great price! I said a "similar" deal on a new 2011 would be 18500 with tax, etc. I asked what was the best price he could do on a plain Fit (not the Sport upgrade). He told me there was no way they could sell me any of the Fits for so little. Gave me the line that these Hondas don't have much mark up. Kept telling me that since the earthquake in Japan in March the Fit's were in short supply and my local implied my local dealer run out of them... I left. This morning, I see the same "new" 2010 advertised for the same great price. I called again just to see what they would say. I spoke to Tiffany. She first gave me the "would you be interested in a similar car at a similar price?" I said "Maybe but I want to know about this specific car.” I gave her the stock number about 4 times. She finally said that car had a “pending deal” but they have two…TWO new 2011 Fit for the same or less than $15000. I asked her for the stock numbers of those two and all she wanted to ask me is if I could come in today or tomorrow. Couldn’t or wouldn’t give me stock numbers. We all know this is BS. Where were these cars yesterday?!?! For his part, James was delightfully friendly and accommodating. Another handsome gentleman brought me ice water while I waited. Their actual price is about the same as any other Honda Dealer. It is too bad that the OWNER of this DEALERSHIP insists on deceitful advertising to lure clients in. It is illegal and dishonest. More
Mae is the BEST!!!! She is the sole reason why I bought that day. She was professional yet friendly and was persistent in a positive way. I wanted to buy/lease a new car and she knowing that helped me get that day. She was professional yet friendly and was persistent in a positive way.
