We were looking for pre-owned & certified Odyssey and found a wonderful price deal with White Plains Honda. Had initial hurdles with sales manager but when we escalated to management "Nelson" have respon found a wonderful price deal with White Plains Honda. Had initial hurdles with sales manager but when we escalated to management "Nelson" have responded well and treated wonderfully. Finally our experience ended pleasantly. Yes, I would recommend and advice if you have not satisfied or have any issues with sales reps while shopping/negotiating... try talk/call to management; certainly WPH doesn't want to loose business and doesn't to get bad reputation in the market. We got a letter from White Plains Honda about turning in my leased Accord early and getting a new vehicle, so I decided to see what kind of deal I could get on a Ridgeline. We talked with Peter and tried t my leased Accord early and getting a new vehicle, so I decided to see what kind of deal I could get on a Ridgeline. We talked with Peter and tried to hammer out a deal, but it was a little too high for us so we decided to hold off a while longer, closer to the end of our existing lease. As we were about to leave, we were called back into the office by Peter and another salesman named James Biloshmi. He asked us for our best offer, which included WPH paying the balance of our existing lease off, a down payment amount that we were comfortable with, and a monthly payment that we were also comfortable with. They came back to us with numbers that were slightly higher, but still workable for us. Anyway, 2 hours later we drove off happy in our new Ridgeline. This is our fourth time dealing with White Plains Honda, all great experiences, and I believe our loyalty was not overlooked by them, which is why we will return in the future to do business again. Very disappointing experience and a collosal waste of time. Our family drive down from CT to see and purchase a car we see advertised online. Alex is able to strike a deal with us. We offer to pay in full with cash / check upon delivery the next day with the understanding that the Title will be given to us upon delivery and payment and we would then take the car ourselves to our local DMV and register the car. Agreement is made and hands are shaken. Fifteen minutes later, Paul comes to speak to us and says the deal should have never been made and it is below cost. He asks for a few hundred dollars more to get the car. Finally, he agrees to sell the car. Next day, we arrive for pickup and I have several conversations with Alex that the car is ready and Title / paperwork is ready. Alex confirms and says all he needs is the proof of insurance. I send the proof of insurance and commute from NYC, leaving work early and having my family drive from CT to meet us there for delivery. Thirty minutes before I get calls from Alex that the Title could not be arranged and will be fedex'd shortly there after. We arrive at the dealership with full payment but do not get the Title. At this point there is no proof of clean Title nor any confidence that the Title will be provided anytime soon (check other reviews with experiences where people have not rec'd Title). Even after all this, I offer to take delivery another day when Title is ready and I am refused by Paul on this. Therefore, I had to ask for my deposit back and cancel the purchase. I do not believe the dealership wanted to sell me the car or had a clean title. There is no other explanation which was given to make me think otherwise. Very disappointing. I have purchased 8 Hondays over the past 30 years from various dealerships in the Tri-State area and never seen anything like this before. More
