I came into the dealership shopping around for the Crv navigation 2012. They were the second dealership I visited. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Typically other dealerships close the deal and you drive off the lot without truly knowing all the features of the car. She sat with me and went over everything. This is just that special touch that makes this dealership stand out amongst the rest. She's professional - yet sweet and very personable. The general manager Nelson Munoz was also very hands on which is something you don't see very often at a dealership. I'd recommend Honda of White Plains to anyone. More

I recently shopped for a car at White Plains Honda. After negotiating the price with the salesman, we were sent to the finance manager. After a long bait-and-switch style tactic, I was presented with a contract to sign that included charges we never agreed to and a price about $3000 higher. When I examined the contract, I saw an additional charge for $2500. When I questioned him, he then stated it was for an extended warranty. Never up to this point did he ever mention mention an additional cost of $2500 among others. Up to this point, he stated that the extended warranty was INCLUDED in the financing and that it was a benefit of financing it with Honda Finance. When pressed, he changed his story stating it was required in order to obtain financing, and later that it would reduces the interest rate. Be careful of White Plains Honda finance department scams. I wouldn't go ever go there again. A word of warning, don't sign contracts without examining and questioning every charge up front before wasting time with their distractions. Better yet, use a respectable volume buying service from AAA, Costco, SAMS, etc. to help pre-negotiate the price for you before go to the dealership. P.S. You can get the extended warranty cheaper buy shopping around different dealers for about $1200-1500 from what I've read. More

I have been looking for a used Honda Pilot for over two months. I visited lots of Honda dealership and never was comfortable with the salesperson or with the price of the vehicle and the atmosphere was ne months. After speaking to Keith over the telephone I immediately felt comfortable with him and after meeting him I felt the same. I was able to get 2011 Pilot with a decent mileage. I thought the price could have been negotiated somewhat but I know Keith tried and after looking for two months it was a great deal. My family and I are happy and we thank Keith for his great and friendly service. More

i am writing this after i traded my 2005 honda hybrid in for a new car - not another honda! although i name anthony valentine as the person i dealt with for service, please understand that my ratings for a for a new car - not another honda! although i name anthony valentine as the person i dealt with for service, please understand that my ratings for all but "friendliness" apply to the service itself, not to anthony. i found anthony to be friendly and honest in the sense that he seemed as upset as i was when things went wrong. what went wrong included long delays in arrival of needed parts, questionable pricing of parts [e.g., a near $200 difference between the price i was charged and the price for the same part as per an internet check], the new part not working when it finally arrived and was installed and then my being informed that an additional new part was needed, all these problems resulting in long delays in having my car returned. it is my opinion that white plains honda service staff are not adequately trained [and perhaps not adequately paid.] the most recent problem happened twice [the car not starting when the gas pedal was pressed]; the first time i was told the problem could not be found, but the car was started. the second time the problem was attributed to the need for a new starter, and then a new fly wheel. less than a week after i got the car back the second time it started to "hiccup" again the way it had before the starter stopped starting the first two times. i was luckily able to start the car to get it to the dealership for the new car for which my dud of a honda was a trade-in. so - in essence - i won't have to deal with white plains honda anymore. but i want to stress that anthony valentine was always cordial and usually accessible. i think that as things got desperate during my most recent service he kind of ducked a couple of times when i called. but whether or not that was so, he should not be blamed for the shoddy service offered by honda white plains. Keith was great. I was looking for a Honda Fit a few months ago, and needed to get something quickly because I was moving to Pennsylvania. I also wanted to avoid registering the car twice (once in NY an months ago, and needed to get something quickly because I was moving to Pennsylvania. I also wanted to avoid registering the car twice (once in NY and then again in PA). Keith worked hard to figure this out. We ultimately decided to go with having provisional plates which would allow me to register the car in PA and pay less tax. I am happy with the car and the experience. The only two disappointments are that the PA tax was more than the original estimate and that the car key is super old school (can't lock / unlock with a fob). I wish that was pointed out to me - I thought all cars had this so I wasn't looking for it. More
