I am not the type of person who writes negative online reviews. But after my experience at White Plains Honda, I feel compelled to speak. My wife and I bought a used Honda Odyssey from this dealership. The salesman was, from the beginning, uninterested in making the experience a good one for us. After our test drive and $3,000 (!) deposit, he didn't return our calls for five days. He mistakenly processed our paperwork (registration, inspection), as if we were NY residents, when in fact we are CT residents. This caused delays and headaches. Instead of an apology, the salesman placed the blame on us. When we finally did get the call that the car was ready, we arrived at the dealership only to find more woes. They had cleaned the wrong vehicle. The finance office had processed the wrong paperwork. The office seemed chaotic while people placed blame on each other. I was there for over two hours, waiting. Finally, I told the manager I wanted to walk away from the deal. I didn't want to do business with them. He then offered a very small "cash back" token. Just wanting to be done with the ordeal, I accepted and drove away in my Odyssey. Words to describe this dealership: Deceitful, Disorganized, Unfriendly. More

Brandi actually sat in the car with us and explained how to work all the features of the car. This was definitely a plus for us! Thanks Everyone! More

Kieth was very friendly and knowledgable about the features of the different cars available. He explained the differences between the different Accord lines and the differences in pricing. After the s features of the different cars available. He explained the differences between the different Accord lines and the differences in pricing. After the sale, he took the time to go over the dashboard ( radio, AC, etc) and asked if I had questions. The pricing he gave me from the beginning was fair and he made sure the car was performing well on the day i came to pick it up. More
I found a desirable used Odyssey on the Internet at WP Honda. There were no surprises on the price or the description of the car. Keith was very friendly and professional. The trade-in value given for Honda. There were no surprises on the price or the description of the car. Keith was very friendly and professional. The trade-in value given for my old car was fair. The sale transaction was handled expeditiously. This is what most people would want in a car purchase but often do not get. More
I went to White Plains Honda looking for a specific car, a certified Honda Civic EX coupe. This dealership had a 2012 listed online. I called to make sure the car was still there, and after confirmation I d a certified Honda Civic EX coupe. This dealership had a 2012 listed online. I called to make sure the car was still there, and after confirmation I drove from Queens to White Plains to see it. I had already been to other dealerships and was ready to leave if it wasn't what I wanted or the price wasn't right. Upon arrival I met Alex, the salesperson who took me out to see the car. He was very nice to work with and just very down-to-earth. The car was nicer than it appeared in the pictures. I took it for a test drive and was very happy to find everything was as listed. I explained my situation to Alex -- what I had to trade-in and what my budget was. I am very happy to report that we made a deal that satisfied both of us. They fairly valued my trade-in without any silly game playing. We worked with a man named Jerzy on the trade-in. The transaction couldn't have been smoother and honestly, everyone was very accommodating, very nice. I gave the car two weeks of driving before writing my review. I have put a few hundred miles on my fantastic car and I love it -- no issues, no problems. This is not my first spin with buying used cars. I've been down this road before and haven't had the best experiences in the past. I would absolutely go back to White Plains Honda and would recommend them to anyone looking for a car. Now I'm off to go drive my bright red Civic! More
Went in to discuss a new Honda Civic Si. Peter was incredibly well informed regarding the car. He answered all my questions with clear responses and wasn't pushy or overbearing. Great experience at White Plains Honda. I came in with a specific car and brand in mind and the dealer wasted no time in gathering all the available cars that fit my preference. They truly let me make the specific car and brand in mind and the dealer wasted no time in gathering all the available cars that fit my preference. They truly let me make the decision instead of pushing a specific car on me. Would recommend. More
I had an appointment to trade in my 2007 CRV with Taylor Mullens, the moment I walked in I was greeted by Jonathan Rios and Alex Vargas. I felt extremely comfortable from the beginning especially because I Mullens, the moment I walked in I was greeted by Jonathan Rios and Alex Vargas. I felt extremely comfortable from the beginning especially because I was dealing with my original sales person from my previous transaction. Jonathan helped me from start to finish, from the color to the financing. After two car purchases from him I don't want to deal with anyone else!!!! Thanks White Plains Honda, loving my new CRV More
BEWARE AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This dealership uses bait and switch tactics! I called this dealership (if you could call it a dealership, as I'd prefer to call it a shady business person factory) to negotia and switch tactics! I called this dealership (if you could call it a dealership, as I'd prefer to call it a shady business person factory) to negotiate a price for a basic low end CRV, as I am moving to the neighborhood soon and wanted to start a relationship with a nearby dealership. I quoted them a price I had received from another dealership and the person I originally spoke to on the phone (Helen) said they could beat this price and offered me $250 per month including all taxes rolled in. This price was well below the other dealers so I tried securing it asap. I am also moving soon and I needed to pick up the car as soon as I closed on my house in approximately three weeks after my first call (which the dealership knew). Helen told me that she'd call me back the next day to take a deposit to lock in my price and send me a confirmation, as all of the people who take deposits had left for the night. After MANY calls trying to reach Helen and make my deposit it took me approximately 15 calls and over a week until I got somebody from their finance department to confirm the details Helen and I had negotiated. He said a salesperson Jonathan would call me back "in a few minutes" to take the deposit. Needless to say, Jonathan didn't call back for days and every time I called no matter the time of day, he was "with a client". Never received any calls back and only actually got to speak to him once I threatened to take my business elsewhere. Finally the mysterious Jonathan picked up the phone and confirmed all of the details of the deal, agreed to take my credit card to lock in a deposit, and said he'd send me a confirmation email immediately. He also asked me to name three colors that I liked as he could guarantee that he'd get me at least one of them since they have "plenty" in stock. DAYS go by and many calls from me go by with Jonathan always being busy with his "clients" that are obviously more important than me. Finally, he once again picked up the phone when I threatened to take my business elsewhere and have my credit card company deny any charges from them. Now, two and half weeks after my price was negotiated and confirmed by over 3 different employees of this dealership and less than a week from when I need to have this car, Jonathan now says that the "programs have changed" and he "can't give me the car at this rate or it would be a loss for them". He said he's fighting for me to have them match the price and he'll call me back in a few minutes. Once again, days go by and Jonathan is now out of the dealership for the day. At this point we demanded to speak to the manager, thinking that he/she would be outraged about the terrible customer service experience and certainly try to make it right. That is sadly only how things work at 99% of other businesses that appreciate your business and don't lie to your face. We spoke to the manager Alex Vargas, who was far and away one of the most unprofessional and downright liars I have ever had to deal with in any course of business (and I'm a lawyer!). Alex said that he was aware of our situation and our conversations with Jonathan, but he was not able to sell us the baseline CRV at this price as they had "not a single car in stock to sell us", BUT since we need the car in a few days, he luckily did have a top of the line CRV in stock for "ONLY $100 more". Alex then pressured us that it wasn't a big deal as $100 wasn't that much money (although if he didn't flunk math he would have realized it was well over 1/3 of the overall monthly price). I told him that I had no interest in the high end model as this would just be a car that would be driven to the train. After much discussion back and forth and us expressly how disappointed we have been with him and his whole dealership, he said he couldn't do anything for us outside of calling us when the car "came back in" (which he had "no idea" when that would happen). Not believing this story, my wife called the dealership back an hour later and asked if a baseline CRV was in stock if she wanted to come in and get it and Noreen said "Sure, we have plenty of those CRVS ready to be driven away". We then called back and asked to speak to Alex, at which point we said we were done with this dealership forever, will tell all of our friends in Westchester about our experiences, and will be contacting the BBB and writing reviews on the internet about his lies. Alex said he didn't appreciate being called a liar and we said, "Then maybe you shouldn't lie". Bottom line is that this dealership knew all along that they couldn't meet this very low price on the CRV. Rather than being honest and admitting that Helen spoke out of line and they couldn't offer the car for that low, they dragged things on and on and on until I only had a few days to go elsewhere before I needed the car (at which point it would be hard to find a car elsewhere) before they tried to bait and switch us into the high end model. This dealership lies and tries to cheat their customers. We have already contacted the BBB and based on what I've seen on the internet, we are not the only ones that have done so. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. The Mount Kisco dealership's prices weren't a rock bottom as this dealership, but the dealer was honest all along and I have not felt like he's been taking advantage of me like the great group of ladies and gentlemen at White Plains Honda.
