I had an appointment to trade in my 2007 CRV with Taylor Mullens, the moment I walked in I was greeted by Jonathan Rios and Alex Vargas. I felt extremely comfortable from the beginning especially because I Mullens, the moment I walked in I was greeted by Jonathan Rios and Alex Vargas. I felt extremely comfortable from the beginning especially because I was dealing with my original sales person from my previous transaction. Jonathan helped me from start to finish, from the color to the financing. After two car purchases from him I don't want to deal with anyone else!!!! Thanks White Plains Honda, loving my new CRV More
BEWARE AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This dealership uses bait and switch tactics! I called this dealership (if you could call it a dealership, as I'd prefer to call it a shady business person factory) to negotia and switch tactics! I called this dealership (if you could call it a dealership, as I'd prefer to call it a shady business person factory) to negotiate a price for a basic low end CRV, as I am moving to the neighborhood soon and wanted to start a relationship with a nearby dealership. I quoted them a price I had received from another dealership and the person I originally spoke to on the phone (Helen) said they could beat this price and offered me $250 per month including all taxes rolled in. This price was well below the other dealers so I tried securing it asap. I am also moving soon and I needed to pick up the car as soon as I closed on my house in approximately three weeks after my first call (which the dealership knew). Helen told me that she'd call me back the next day to take a deposit to lock in my price and send me a confirmation, as all of the people who take deposits had left for the night. After MANY calls trying to reach Helen and make my deposit it took me approximately 15 calls and over a week until I got somebody from their finance department to confirm the details Helen and I had negotiated. He said a salesperson Jonathan would call me back "in a few minutes" to take the deposit. Needless to say, Jonathan didn't call back for days and every time I called no matter the time of day, he was "with a client". Never received any calls back and only actually got to speak to him once I threatened to take my business elsewhere. Finally the mysterious Jonathan picked up the phone and confirmed all of the details of the deal, agreed to take my credit card to lock in a deposit, and said he'd send me a confirmation email immediately. He also asked me to name three colors that I liked as he could guarantee that he'd get me at least one of them since they have "plenty" in stock. DAYS go by and many calls from me go by with Jonathan always being busy with his "clients" that are obviously more important than me. Finally, he once again picked up the phone when I threatened to take my business elsewhere and have my credit card company deny any charges from them. Now, two and half weeks after my price was negotiated and confirmed by over 3 different employees of this dealership and less than a week from when I need to have this car, Jonathan now says that the "programs have changed" and he "can't give me the car at this rate or it would be a loss for them". He said he's fighting for me to have them match the price and he'll call me back in a few minutes. Once again, days go by and Jonathan is now out of the dealership for the day. At this point we demanded to speak to the manager, thinking that he/she would be outraged about the terrible customer service experience and certainly try to make it right. That is sadly only how things work at 99% of other businesses that appreciate your business and don't lie to your face. We spoke to the manager Alex Vargas, who was far and away one of the most unprofessional and downright liars I have ever had to deal with in any course of business (and I'm a lawyer!). Alex said that he was aware of our situation and our conversations with Jonathan, but he was not able to sell us the baseline CRV at this price as they had "not a single car in stock to sell us", BUT since we need the car in a few days, he luckily did have a top of the line CRV in stock for "ONLY $100 more". Alex then pressured us that it wasn't a big deal as $100 wasn't that much money (although if he didn't flunk math he would have realized it was well over 1/3 of the overall monthly price). I told him that I had no interest in the high end model as this would just be a car that would be driven to the train. After much discussion back and forth and us expressly how disappointed we have been with him and his whole dealership, he said he couldn't do anything for us outside of calling us when the car "came back in" (which he had "no idea" when that would happen). Not believing this story, my wife called the dealership back an hour later and asked if a baseline CRV was in stock if she wanted to come in and get it and Noreen said "Sure, we have plenty of those CRVS ready to be driven away". We then called back and asked to speak to Alex, at which point we said we were done with this dealership forever, will tell all of our friends in Westchester about our experiences, and will be contacting the BBB and writing reviews on the internet about his lies. Alex said he didn't appreciate being called a liar and we said, "Then maybe you shouldn't lie". Bottom line is that this dealership knew all along that they couldn't meet this very low price on the CRV. Rather than being honest and admitting that Helen spoke out of line and they couldn't offer the car for that low, they dragged things on and on and on until I only had a few days to go elsewhere before I needed the car (at which point it would be hard to find a car elsewhere) before they tried to bait and switch us into the high end model. This dealership lies and tries to cheat their customers. We have already contacted the BBB and based on what I've seen on the internet, we are not the only ones that have done so. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. The Mount Kisco dealership's prices weren't a rock bottom as this dealership, but the dealer was honest all along and I have not felt like he's been taking advantage of me like the great group of ladies and gentlemen at White Plains Honda. When I first entered the dealership I was greeted and asked if I had an appointment. I did not but was led to Keith Johnson who was readily available and willing to assist in my search for a certified us asked if I had an appointment. I did not but was led to Keith Johnson who was readily available and willing to assist in my search for a certified used Honda Accord. I had one in mind but he showed me several options. He brought out the keys to all the cars I was interested in so I didn't waste time waiting for him each time. My son and I both took a test drive and Keith was patient, informative and confident we would find the right car for us. At no time did Keith pressure us to make a decision but was friendly and answered all our questions. After deciding on a car, he explained in detail all the procedures regarding payment, paperwork, delivery, etc. When I took delivery of the car, freshly washed and vacuumed, he briefly stayed to ensure I knew all the features of this model, which I found very thoughtful of him. My overall experience was the dealership employees were nice, friendly and made me feel welcome. Keith was professional, knowledgeable and seemed more like a kind neighbor giving advice than a car salesman. It was a pleasure to work with him in obtaining my car. Overall, the experience was a positive one and I would recommend this dealership and definitely Keith Johnson. More
We came to The White Plains Honda from CT because the web said it would honor trade-in quotes from AutoTrader.com. We have an Audi Q5 that we have only owned for less than a year, no scratches, panoramic su said it would honor trade-in quotes from AutoTrader.com. We have an Audi Q5 that we have only owned for less than a year, no scratches, panoramic sunroof, leather heated seat, a whole bunch of luxury details. When we had our car appraised at White Plains Honda, they quoted us almost 5,000 less stating that they use Galves, not AutoTrader to rate their cars for trade-in. I was furious since we had driven over an hour (not to mention added a whole bunch of miles to our car,) but when I asked for their manager, Jon came over and sincerely took his time explaining the appraisal process and that he was not familiar with their dealerships marriage to AutoTrader. He sincerely apologized after taking a good 15-20 minutes to explain how Galves worked and why it rated our car so low (in comparison to the Autotrader quote). Our salesman, Keith, also did a nice job explaining the inventory until we got our appraisal through. Overall, I would say it is a good dealership if you have a downpayment and don't want to trade anything in. They were extremely professional and I appreciated the time they took, despite the error in their business management of having them connected to a site they don't use. We ended up going with a dealer in CT that respected the AutoTrader quote and we're now in a new Honda, with payments over a $100 less than the Audi. Alls good in the end! More
Having leased two Accords including my current 2010 EXl from White Plains Honda I directly went there again for a 2013 Accord CVT w/tech. The salesman was exceptional and quickly took me on a test drive. I from White Plains Honda I directly went there again for a 2013 Accord CVT w/tech. The salesman was exceptional and quickly took me on a test drive. I was very pleased with the vehicle as I always am with Accords this would be my 7th. However, things quickly took a turn for the worst when a manager?? was brought over to negotiate the lease. Long story short I had previously considered an got pricing for an Acura TL at 36 mths 15 k $354 $2000k down, including an offer to some degree on my current 2010. The "manager" only offer was $4000+down and $354 mthly(this was presumable his best offer} I repreatly ask for the cap cost and he ignore my request....and told me the 2010 had no value, no negotiation. At that point the TL was starting to look good. He then had the audacity to ask me if no better deal is to be had at other dealership would I return, I let him know if I'm unsatisfied on the first go around why come back, total loss of a perfectly lovely sunday(6/23/13), The main issue was that I would have been flexible on an EX-L no tech, however he was pushing a CRV - a no go for me. Well I guess White Plains Honda couldn't care less about pleasing the customer in a fair deal for all concerned nor customer loyalty to the brand. I suppose what was most displeasing was the impression that if your a woman you'll take whatever they offer. FYI I deal with contracts and payments for a major city agency with a fleet of 9000 vehicles. The bottom line ..I stress the salesman was great the kid who is the manager needs retraining or maybe your best bet is any and all other Honda dealers and last bet there is always ACURA!!!! More

Keith Johnson was outstanding. He made my experience rewarding from start to finish. He helped me quickly find the right car. He made the negotiation experience less painful than most dealers. He was rewarding from start to finish. He helped me quickly find the right car. He made the negotiation experience less painful than most dealers. He was transparent, trustworthy and honest. A rarity among car salesmen, at least in my experience. In addition, when I struggled to conclude the deal, he quickly seized the opportunity and helped me close the gap with his management. It was a win-win, with a very reasonable compromise. Thanks Keith for making this a productive and rewarding experience. Ken King More

Keith Johnson was an excellent guide to buying our car. He was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. He went out of his way to do a l of extra things to make sure everything was in place for us. He was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with.
