My car wouldn’t start over the course of 4 days. I was finally able to get it started and called the dealership service department who told me to bring the car in for a diagnostic check. When we brought the cat in, the service department looked at the battery, starter, and alternator and said nothing was wrong the the car and wouldn’t run a diagnostic check on it because “nothing would be wrong with the car”. If I wanted a diagnostic check, it would cost me. I have a 2017 MDX under warranty, it would have been easy to just run the check because when my car wasn’t starting, Acura was going to tow it to the cities, all 200 miles there. The frustration stems from when I was instructed by someone when I made the appointment to bring the car in because of the days of trouble I had. I live 230 miles/4 hours away from the nearest Acura dealer. If I was told on the phone that nothing would’ve been done for my car, I would’ve saved myself the 8 hour round trip. Please have the service department on the same page about what services will or will not be provided before someone else makes an 8 hour, futile trip. More

We brought our 1 year old vehicle in for service. We were told that our wheels were out of alignment, but didn't have time that day to get it completed, so brought it home with a plan to return. Before returning we decided to check the cost at service stations closer to home. We found that our primary service place was significantly cheaper; but more troubling, when they put our car up on the lift, they determined that the wheels were in alignment. We don't know if this was incompetence on the dealership's part or worse, never the less it was very upsetting to us. More

Our service experience was first-rate. We were able to schedule an appointment for a convenient time and then adjust that appointment by a few minutes when we arrived late on the day (we live over an hour schedule an appointment for a convenient time and then adjust that appointment by a few minutes when we arrived late on the day (we live over an hour away and sometimes experience road delays). Staff were friendly and accommodating. All employees wore masks and practiced social distancing while good protocols were in place to minimize contact during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our service went smoothly and quickly, and we were able to relax comfortably in the waiting area and later in the showroom during our appointment. The complimentary car wash was appreciated. We travel a considerable distance and spend extra time in servicing our Subaru vehicle with Luther due to the high standards and professional practices of the service department. Thank you! More
