Mike was great. He met us with a warm greeting, and was very knowledgeable about the Outback we were considering purchasing. We bought the Outback and really, really like it. Our highway mileage, at 60 miles an hour, is almost 32 MPG. The local combined is about 26 MPG. When we are ready to buy another car we will look to Mike Akright. Thanks Mike More
Henry treated us very well. He was not pushy and answered all of our questions professionally. Both Henry and Karl stayed late to finish all the paper work. This is by far the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. Sam greeted us very warmly, found out what we were thinking and looking for, and handed us off to Mike, who is an awesome salesman. And by that, I mean he wasn't pushy, listened to our wants and needs, and was efficient about trying to help us find what we wanted. Before we knew it, we were on a test drive, and even though I had planned to go to 2 other dealerships to test drive other cars, I knew that the Legacy was what I wanted. We have sketchy credit due to a foreclosure a couple of years ago, and had doubts about our ability to obtain a loan. This didn't slow Mike, and subsequently Chris (finance) down at all, or diminish the level of service they gave us. Their mission was our satisfaction, and they (and other staff members) saw to our comfort during the time we had to wait for credit approval. When we got approved, and the payment was within our budget, I was shocked and thrilled. Chris was right there with us. He has a wonderful sense of humor and doesn't come off like most "finance guys" who are usually hidden away in an office somewhere "playing God", so to speak in regard to whether you get a car or not. Very personal experience. In the same breath, Mike wasn't the stereotypical "car salesman", trying to push the customer into something they either couldn't afford or a second choice they didn't want. I was also surprised at the efficiency of the whole process- despite not having the title for the vehicle we were trading in, we left in less than two hours with our brand new car. So happy!! Oh, and Sam is an awesome guy- Mr. Personality- gave me a big hug when the deal was done. :-D Overall, I would recommend to anyone I know who is shopping for a car to go to White Bear Acura Subaru. This is our family's second Subaru- wonderful vehicles- and their service is beyond compare. Probably why they are still in business today- having survived when a lot of big dealerships closed in the past few years due to the poor economy. Our son is looking to trade his Outback in for a new one in the next year or so, and he will be going there when the time comes. More

I've purchased many new vehicles in my life, but I have never been moved to write a review until now. My experience with White Bear Subaru has been, dare I say, perfect. Of course, the 2013 Outback I purchased is phenomenal, but no matter where you purchase a Subaru you can count on getting a great car. What you cannot count on, however, is getting a great sales agent. I was most fortunate to work with Matt Fox, and he is the sole reason I ultimately purchased there as opposed to buying locally in Hermantown. It would have been much more convenient to buy close to home, but there was no comparison in customer treatment. Matt is a genuinely friendly and respectful person. He spent a great deal of time talking with me at the dealership and then communicating with me on the telephone and via email prior to me deciding to purchase. He was totally patient with me regarding my many inquiries, and he never once made me feel like I was asking too much or like I was taking too much of his time. In fact, when I made a last minute decision to drive down after work on a week night, Matt stayed quite late at the dealership to make sure my entire purchasing process went smoothly. From my very first encounter with Matt Fox I have felt valued not only as a customer, but also as a person. If working with a sales agent who will treat you with kindness, respect, honesty, and integrity matters to you, then make the drive to White Bear Subaru and be sure to ask for Matt Fox. I decided to visit White Bear Subaru on a whim one night after work. I already knew which vehicle I wanted and was checking in for comparison sake. He was very easy to talk with, very knowledgable and personable and made the conversation fun (which is not always the case when searching for a new car). Mike then had an existing appointment show up, so I continued my conversation with Sam. We went out, drove the car, went over some of the features and an additional package option that was included. I felt like a person there, not just "another customer." I was even there for a while after they closed, but no one said anything about closing time or made me feel rushed. I picked up the car the next day. Mike went over all the features with me, inside and out. I couldn't be happier with my new Outback or with my experience at White Bear Subaru. More

I bought a new 2013 Outback from Sam Basho. I had bought a car from him 12 years ago and went back again when I was ready for a new one. He was very fair and good to deal with.
