The sales team was fantastic at this dealership and we figured the service would follow suit but that was far from true. For over a week we were instructed to call back as they had someone out sick and co figured the service would follow suit but that was far from true. For over a week we were instructed to call back as they had someone out sick and could not discuss repairs with us until they returned, there was a serious lack of communication from the service advisor once we were allowed to drop the vehicle and parts took forever to arrive. I had a disappointing experience at Weston Volvo. From the beginning, I made it clear that I wanted to only see prices with everything included—fees, taxes, and any additional costs. I visited earlie From the beginning, I made it clear that I wanted to only see prices with everything included—fees, taxes, and any additional costs. I visited earlier in the day to negotiate a monthly lease price with a down payment for a car for my wife. I even increased the down payment by $500 to reach a lower monthly lease payment. Before leaving, I was given a copy of a sales quote that I believed included taxes. I specifically asked if the amount would increase for any reason, and the salesperson assured me it wouldn’t. When I returned with my wife and toddler, we waited on the sales manager. During this time, the salesperson asked for the copy of the sales quote we had agreed upon and took it to the sales manager. The sales quote was out of our possession for about 5 minutes. When it was returned, we didn’t review it again, trusting the sales manager that the numbers hadn’t changed. However, when we sat with the finance department, we were surprised to see the monthly lease payment was higher because taxes had been added. Upon reviewing the sales quote, we noticed it had been updated to show the agreed price plus taxes shown as percentage increase to the final amount. Taxes were not explicitly stated, which made the change unclear and misleading. Furthermore, the fact that the taxes were not labeled is more evidence the sales quote we were given was updated while it was out of our possession. This entire experience felt dishonest and lacking in transparency. Buying or leasing a car should be straightforward, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would advise others to make additional physical and digital copies of sales quotes that are kept in your possession, reconfirm any agreed pricing, double-check all paperwork thoroughly and be very cautious when dealing with this dealership. I’ve mainly experienced the valet car service the convenience. This in and of itself is a great experience. That said and include Amanda, Mary and the porter(valet car guy with the glasses), they hav convenience. This in and of itself is a great experience.
