Accessory Order I have ordered several accessories for my new GMC Canyon recently. All is good except for the door sill protectors. They were cheesier than I thought I have ordered several accessories for my new GMC Canyon recently. All is good except for the door sill protectors. They were cheesier than I thought but I took them home anyway and attempted to put them on. I cleaned the surface as instructed and used the alcohol prep on my driver rear sill and there was some kind of residue I hadn’t noticed before that caused the paint to come up and left some on the alcohol swab and created a sticky scratched surface on my new paint. Took it back and explained all and the parts guy was very attentive and called the service manager—Matt—to look at it. They agreed something wasn’t right and readily sought to fix. Got a full refund on the sill protectors and an appointment to bring in the fix the paint. Couldn’t be happier. They were very easy to work with and I left a much happier camper. More
