Run from this dealer as fast as you can. They pitch free oil changes for life but what they dishonestly don't tell you during the sales cycle is that you have do do all scheduled maintenance through them. T oil changes for life but what they dishonestly don't tell you during the sales cycle is that you have do do all scheduled maintenance through them. They also force you to go on the schedule for extreme conditions which doubles the maintenance cycle. They do have a form that explains about the scheduled maintenance but it's buried in the pile of papers you need to sign at purchase closing and they go past it very quickly. Totally unethical and dishonest. More
Our problem was covered under extended warranty and Gonzalo went above and beyond to help us. He kept us informed and the work was completed in a couple days. The Westgate Kia Core Values = Dishonesty and Unethical Business Practices. My wife had been going back-and-forth with Westgate Kia for a few days with regards to a used vehicle in their inventory. A Business Practices. My wife had been going back-and-forth with Westgate Kia for a few days with regards to a used vehicle in their inventory. After some discussion via email, my wife extended an offer for the vehicle countering their original quote. Their response to my wife's counter-offer was to increase the price by approximately $1k from their original quote. I find this kind of practice deeply dishonest, as they obviously felt they had my wife baited in and then went for more (typical slime ball car salesmen tactic, in addition to thinking they can jerk a woman around). The increase of the price was done by their "sales manager" Ramon Gavilan. Needless to say, we walked away from pursuing this vehicle, as we will not do business with dishonest companies and their dishonest sales manager. So if you're a buyer on the market for a new car, beware of this dealership. They will try and take you for a ride. More
Great company, they've always serviced my car and been knowledgeable with my requests. Even have had my care returned to me cleaner than when I've dropped it off. I brought my 2015 Soul in for a recall and asked them to rotate the tries and balance. Upon arrival they took in the car and than gave us a ride home, They said the work would take 4 hours.at 3:30 I called rotate the tries and balance. Upon arrival they took in the car and than gave us a ride home, They said the work would take 4 hours.at 3:30 I called to see if our car was ready and the service manager said yes he will send a car to get us. Upon arrival at the service center, he said there will be no charge! I said what about the tire rotation and the balance, he said it was not on the order. The young man that took our car in said "yes it was I entered it." All's we got was an apology, My husband asked it we could do it another time and he said yes. Never! did they offer to take the car back and do the tire rotation and balance at that time. We were just handed the receipt. After having our car 6 hours you would have thought everything was done. I called Saturday morning about a question I had about the receipt... It said under the recall work CANNOT DUPLICATE CUSTOMER CONCERN AT THIS TIME...I called and asked about it, and I was told by Gonzalo that it was a default in the system, that it was a new system. I asked him if the recall I had done in November was the same thing as I brought it in for Friday, he said no.. The work was done it's just a system default. And I brought up the other work that was not done, and he flat out LIED! he said he offered to to the tire rotation and balance right than. He did not! What a joke this service center is! We thought we would give than a second chance to make things right big mistake! There service center has gone to pot since changing there name to WESTGATE... They have way to many excuses. Why they don't honor Chris Leigh KIA oil changes, why there receipts look different etc. More
After a good purchase experience, my remaining experience with Kia and Westgate Kia has been the worst automotive experience I have ever had. I purchased a certified pre-owned Kia Soul EV (all electric) from with Kia and Westgate Kia has been the worst automotive experience I have ever had. I purchased a certified pre-owned Kia Soul EV (all electric) from Westgate over a year ago. I can honestly tell you that I do love the vehicle...when it is working/driving but the first time I had an issue and needed to bring it in for service, I found out that they were not not certified to work on electric Kia's and the closest dealership was in Maryland. Long story short, since owning the car for approximately a year and a half and having to have the car serviced 3 times, I have to have my car shipped to MD/VA every time, it takes over a month every time to get the car serviced and during this time, I am not able to get a loaner or rental so I am left car-less for over 3 months of my ownership so far while my car is being serviced. Worst part is, I was NEVER told this when buying the car. I am also trying to figure out how a non EV certified dealer sold a certified pre-owned EV car? I have tried reaching out to them for help and even emailed asking for the GM to contact me. I even reached out to their sales team explaining my frustration and they brushed it off while trying to overcharge me for a new lease. I am a long time Westgate customer and have purchased vehicles from their other dealerships but this will be the last and final purchase from Westgate and Kia. Buyers be ware. More

I had some problems when Westgate took over from Chris Leith, and stopped going there. This week I decided to give them another try, since one of the things I needed was a new radio and I wanted the facto Leith, and stopped going there. This week I decided to give them another try, since one of the things I needed was a new radio and I wanted the factory one. Josh and Danny gave me great service, they have won my business back. I have a Kia and Chevy, and they are able to service them both for me as Gilbert is a Chevy tech and always does a great job also. More
I had the best experience with Heather Shaw and Jennifer Richardson. They were both highly responsive, professional, efficient and worked hard and fast to get me the best deal on my new Telluride. It was Richardson. They were both highly responsive, professional, efficient and worked hard and fast to get me the best deal on my new Telluride. It was a long and exhausting process with other dealerships and I wish I had saved the headache and the hassle and come to them first. They both restored my faith in car salesman! More
Worst car experience ever! I purchased a Certified 2017 Kia Sorento EX in May 2020 with bumper to bumper warranty and powertrain warranty still on the vehicle. After 2 weeks of driving the car, on a Saturd Kia Sorento EX in May 2020 with bumper to bumper warranty and powertrain warranty still on the vehicle. After 2 weeks of driving the car, on a Saturday, I get in it and the car wouldn't start. The engine light and steering wheel light illuminated and stayed on, also a message appeared on the dash that said "Check BSD system". At this point I'm unable to move the vehicle because it wouldn't start. I took a picture of what I saw and sent it to the guy who sold me the car. Needless to say he was able to get the car towed 30 miles back to the dealership on that Monday. Thank God I had another vehicle to drive buy anyway after they kept my truck all week, on that Friday they tell me that nothing is wrong with the truck. The lights were no longer coming on and no codes showed up in the system. They accused me of not putting my foot on the brake when starting the vehicle which caused the car not to start. Even though this was a Kia and it was towed to a Kia dealership and the truck still had active warranty on it, they charged me for towing fees. Needless to say, I took the car back and after driving the truck for another week, me and my children are out and about on a very hot day and we get in the truck. I go to start the car and again the engine and steering lights came on and the "Check BSD" message appeared again. So now me and my children are stuck outside in the hot hot sun because a car that I just purchased not even a month ago wouldn't start. I recorded everything, exactly how I was turning on the vehicle and recorded the lights that came on. I then had the truck towed to my nearest Kia dealership and by the time the mechanic was able to look at it the lights had gone out but he was able to bring up some codes in the history. He was unable to work on the car due to the codes not being active so he suggested that I return the vehicle back to Westgate Kia and demand they take a look at it. He also told me that I was not responsible for paying for any towing fees because my car was still under warranty regardless if they found a problem on the car or not. I got in contact with the service manager Orlando at Westgate and sent him the video, I also sent my salesman the video as well. Orlando told me to bring the car back in so I drove the car back 30 to 40 miles out to get Westgate Kia to fix it. I gave Orlando the printout of codes that the other dealership was so gracious to give me. They kept my car for another full week, then called to tell me oh yea, it was a minor wiring issue but we was able to locate it and fix it. Why was an issue this major on a certified vehicle that I just purchased? Certified means it has been through numerous of inspections to bring it back to almost brand new which I expect not to have any issues with anything for a good amount of time with extended warranty and benefits added. That was not the case for me. There was a MAJOR issue with my car causing the car to have intermittent startup issues and even though I have warranty, I still was charged for towing fees. I shouldn't have experienced this at all!! This tells me that someone did not do their job. I mean Westgate failed me miserably!! At this point, I had already called Kia Corporate to see if they could refund me the towing fee but they needed paperwork and receipt. I went in to pick up my car from Westgate and I did not feel like I was treated with importance. Joey "the mechanic" was busy on the phone and shooed me over to another guy. The guy had me sign something and then he just handed me my key. I asked him could I get a copy of the diagnosis and what they did to fix it because I wanted to send that to Kia Corporate to help them understand why I'm asking for a towing refund and he tells me Joey didn't print out a copy so he guess he'll have him mail it to me. What a mess this has been for me!!! After all of this hassle back and forth, nothing was done as a courtesy to win my trust back over. My car could of been washed and cleaned, they could have given me a gas card, I mean something should have been done as a courtesy. Even after they were proven wrong that something was wrong with my car, no apology was given and nothing was done out of courtesy to rectify the issue with me and I'm outraged!! Worst experience ever!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place! They appear to be organized and professional but wait until you have an issue and you'll see for yourself. I would give them 0 stars if I could. More
