This was my first time purchasing a new car, and also my first time purchasing from a dealership. In the past I have avoided buying from dealerships because I did not want to be pressured into buying a vehi first time purchasing from a dealership. In the past I have avoided buying from dealerships because I did not want to be pressured into buying a vehicle I didnt want, or into spending more than I should; I was also nervous having a lot of extra costs at a dealership. Westgate Jeep erased all of those concerns. I had the pleasure of dealing with Steve, and not only was he friendly, professional, and very knowledgable, but also he never once made me feel like he was just trying to make a sale. It was all about finding the best vehicle for me, in my price range and budget. This process took a while, and he was very thorough and patient. I also dealt with Garret, in the finance department, and he went above and beyond, working around problems specific to my situation, and getting me the lowest rate possible. Everyone I encountered at Westgate was friendly and helpful, the facilities were nice and clean, and there was not one negative thing about my experience buying with Westgate. I love my new car, and I would recommend anyone who is in the market to visit Westgate. More

I called Westgate in advance and spoke with "Bob" and arranged to stop by and check out a particular style jeep they had in stock. Since I live approximately one hour and thirty minutes away from WestgateCJDR, and frequently work late hours, getting to this dealership was stressful to say the least. I am currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Army and made my way in uniform immediately after work. Upon arriving, I was greeted by "Bob", Jim Defreest, and a "manager" from sales. Mr. Defreest briefly showed me the vehicle of interest and took me inside to "see what the numbers are." After being quoted a number that did not come close to matching the dealers number near Ft. Bragg, I received a call from another dealership nearby (AutoparkCJD) claiming that they had the same vehicle at a lower price. As I briefly spoke with the salesman from Autopark on my cellphone, I was approached my the "manager" from sales whom I mentioned earlier. The gentleman grabbed the paperwork off the desk and stated, "that's it I'm not selling you a Jeep." To which I replied, "excuse, me." The manager then stated, "I'm not going to sell you a Jeep when your shopping around with other dealerships over the phone in my dealership." Needless to say, I felt completely disrespected and angry as I walked out.My question to Westgate is, "As a consumer, wouldn't YOU shop around for a better price on an expensive vehicle.Especially after being mislead into driving 1.5 hours to be presented with a deal much different than was stated over the phone." Apparently this dealership has a lack of respect for the customer and for Military Personnel fighting for the exact freedoms that allow for a privately owned business like WestgateCDJ to remain in existence today. The employees and employers should be ashamed of themselves and I'll be sure to inform my fellow soldiers as well as Chairman Sergio Marchionne of the condescending attitude and lack of respect that Westgate has for the average consumer and military personnel. I took my 2012 jeep in for my first service and was told I had a hole in my axle boot and may have hit something with it by the Service Advisor. At first i was going to purchase just any truck that fit the minimal description. 4x4, express, crew cab, spray in bed liner, trailer receiver, and built in from the factory trailer brake control. so we start going through the motions. eventually we get the point of almost purchase. I didn't do it. he was very understandable. he asked me what i was looking for and i sent him a link of the truck that I really wanted. the truck was in South Carolina. After some talk and price negotiation, the truck was shipped up to West Gate free of charge. Once it was there, Brian took the truck to the detailer, put the items I requested in the truck. we agreed on a below market value price and pricing out the door was below what most people pay for the truck without taxes and license. The whole time Brian Stayed in contact with me, was on my side as far as price negotiations and helped me to find the truck of my dreams. Upon return from Afghanistan I went to the dealer. At the dealer, the truck was washed, waxed, cleaned, and fueled up ready for me to take home. Since we had been talking already for several months, Brian set it up so that it took less then an hour. I went into the finance room and was able to haggle even more with the finance manager to achieve a lower rate. Over all, I leave the dealer with a top of the line brand new truck, a low payment, a low interest rate, and a dealer that I can trust to take care of me and my truck. I would recommend any person to go through Westgate to purchase their vehicle. They will get you the best prices, the best customer service, and the best service you can ask for from a dealership. I have dealt with four separate dealerships for new car buying. This would be my fifth car dealer. out of all five Westgate gave me the best car buying experience. Go with Westgate and you wont be disappointed. More
