I am sorry you feel that you were treated unfairly, We did offer to do your oil change at a nominal rate and offered to get you a new plug at our cost, probably 6 or 7 dollars. We can not assume responsibility for the bolt head being stripped when two other people had worked on it since we did. I didn’t realize that $80 for an oil change is a nominal rate. I’m not asking for you to take responsibility for the stripped bolt, but for the fact that it was put in so tightly that people stripped it trying to get it out. . I also wouldn’t have known there was a problem until someone else tried to take the plug out, so I think this is a ridiculous response. The service guy was super rude and refused to admit there was even a possibility that your guy made a mistake. It’s a real shame—you could have handled this differently and not lost future sales.
