BUYER BEWARE—this dealership sold me a Grand Cherokee with concealed FRAME DAMAGE under the guise of a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle on 02/22. This was confirmed to me by none other than their OWN body sho with concealed FRAME DAMAGE under the guise of a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle on 02/22. This was confirmed to me by none other than their OWN body shop. Took a week for the owner to agree that my money was to be refunded (03/10). Sales manager had to cut the check, who gave me the run around for a week, then quit/was fired (?). On 03/24, I am told that now, the owner has to write the check, but he is out of town. Today, 03/28, he wants to “meet” with me. About what? There is nothing to discuss. They promised a refund. I would take your business elsewhere. They owe me $38,000 for a vehicle I have not possession of since 03/03. I am 24 and this was my first car buying experience. Now, I’ve got two car loans and a weight on my shoulders. What I don’t have is the $13,000 cash I used for a down payment. More

On the test drive I was allowed to take as long as I needed to feel comfortable with the vehicle and once we got back I was able to purchase at the price that I was looking for. If you happen to visit Westgate please ask for Farooq if he is available. More
So I was a walk-in who was interested in looking at a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. Standing by the customer service desk looking around, I was eventually greeted in the lobby and then assigned to a sale 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. Standing by the customer service desk looking around, I was eventually greeted in the lobby and then assigned to a salesperson. This salesperson (Michael?) came across as aloof, indifferent, and didn't know much about the car, and really didn't try that hard to get my business. The trade-in value they came up with was $4000 below what other dealers had offered (even without any associated purchase). After sitting on the lot for months, the jeep I was looking at "was suddenly sold" to another party. Almost certainly sold to another dealer. Westgate's follow-up was minimal. In short, they didn't seem to try that hard. Meanwhile am a cash-buyer who was ready to buy. I have already found an even better vehicle of the same year/model elsewhere with comparable miles, and additional upgrades. All for about $6000 less than what Westgate was offering. More
Beware, they try bait and switch on you. The deals or good prices are just bait to get you in the door. We previously purchased from them and so went back. But every time, it's the same tac The deals or good prices are just bait to get you in the door. We previously purchased from them and so went back. But every time, it's the same tactics. Thus most recent visit was a waste of time. January, 2023, we had texted with the internet sales manager for a couple days and had things set to go drive and likely buy a specific car - checked stock number and everything. When we got there the sales person could not find the car. We pressed the sales person and find out it had not even there for almost 2 weeks. They lied, wasted my time and then tried to get us to look at cars way more expensive. We let them know our issue with the situation. I texted about a different car later and when the sales person said they wanted me to come in, I texted that I wanted verification THAT specific car was on the lot as I w as not interested in other vehicles. Now crickets! DO NOT ENCOURAGE THESE TACTICS, GO ELSEWHERE! More
There were several mistakes made. First we were told by, Paul, our salesman that we would need to pay additional $ more than the price advertised because the car had a lowjack install First we were told by, Paul, our salesman that we would need to pay additional $ more than the price advertised because the car had a lowjack installed. So using that “new” price, a negotiation was made. Guess what?! No low Jack. When asked about low Jack we were told it was never installed, but we should be happy because we “never paid for it.” No, we negotiated a price based off one already having been installed so we paid for it… Right? Bc our offer factored in said low Jack that was installed and the price brought to us of car with low Jack installed. Moving on. Got to finance and we purchased an extended warranty. We were TOLD 100,000 miles in addition to current mileage. Based on that, we bought. Come to find out it’s 100,000 total. Finance said, “ooops but it is still a great deal, you got it at cost.” Again, it’s not a DEAL if you don’t get what you thought you paid for. To make it “right” We were offered most the mileage (not 100k but 75k) but instead of 7 years we had on the original contract it now would only be four years. What?! So we get more miles but less time to do it in, that’s the best that could be done to “fix” it. We passed on this offer. Lastly, we had the car for 2 weeks (30,000 dollar car, Mind you, less than 60k miles) and the entire air compressor goes out. Now the car has been in the shop over a week for an entire air conditioner over haul. (Luckily we had the extended warranty). You can’t tell me they didn’t know or at the least They didn’t want to know. My recommendation is don’t trust anyone at their word at this dealership “we’re human and make mistakes” Is their SLOGAN! If it’s not written down, assume you aren’t getting it no matter what is said. Read EVERYTHING, again don’t trust the words stated, slow the process (that’s just what you’ll have to do to avoid bait and switch). Also, have your car looked at by a third party mechanic no matter what! You’d think a dealer of this magnitude would be selling better vehicles than the buy-here/pay-here but they aren’t. More

My wife and I purchased a Wagoneer from here. We got a great deal on our trade and it was a great experience overall. I was surprised how quickly I was in and out. We got a great deal on our trade and it was a great experience overall. I was surprised how quickly I was in and out. More
After telling me they had the vehicle I wanted to look at waiting up front for me to test drive. I get over there and was told it wasn't available. Worst experience ever! Ernest Greene was arrogant...walking around like he had all the time in the world. What we were asking to see they had my daughter sit there waiting Ernest Greene was arrogant...walking around like he had all the time in the world. What we were asking to see they had my daughter sit there waiting for almost an hour and still never found it. My daughter called me and I took the keys and we went and found the Jeep. Then when we found out that there was a key missing for the sunroof he made us feel like we were going to have to buy one to get it to open. Also, when she asked for the amount for her car he acted like $400 was outrageous. But then he made us feel like he was doing us a favor when he got the deal we asked for. Then we found out the seal was broken and then he told us the sunroof was broken. She left. I called the next day and spoke to Ms. Laura and she made sure that we would get better service on Saturday....well not!! The lady that went with us that day was not any help at all. She knew nothing about Jeeps. Found out through Carfax that this car was from New York and it had many problems. So of course we went to another dealership in Cary. We got the best service ever. This was her first big girl purchase and they were PHENOMENAL!! Got more for her car and they treated us like we were the most important person there. Never go to WESTGATE!! More
