I bought a vehicle from this lot, couple days later realized the front bumper had huge scratches down the side. I contacted the sales guy and he told me the car wasn’t like this when I purchased it. Very happy with the purchase of my 2017 Dodge Ram 1500! Excellent service and reasonably priced. Excellent service and reasonably priced. More
I purchased a used jeep rubicon and when I looked at it looked great and after driving it it had a little bit of a shake in it but I figured it was just a tire out of balance but that wasn’t bad enough to looked great and after driving it it had a little bit of a shake in it but I figured it was just a tire out of balance but that wasn’t bad enough to stop sale. I was told that there service department checked it out and they came up with no problems they said. I also asked about the stop and go engines stops when you stop well it did not work when I test drove it and checked why and it said auxiliary battery was charging however I was never told the battery was actually bad nor disclose it was bad. Which the service department had to know if they went through it. Also the seats leather looked very good. However when I get home I find a split in the seam someone had superglued it together and it came back apart again. I drove it yesterday and the jeep completely would not start why because auxiliary batter drained main battery so towed it to local jeep place here and come to find out the batteries needed to be replaced and they said it should have been caught up during their check. Also the right front wheel was warped somehow probably hitting a pothole or something near that. The seat was told needs to be repaired the correct way taken off cover and resowing it but the glue would still show. I would not recommend this place to buy however I would if he worked elsewhere recommend the sales man he didn’t know anything about the problems. Now after a grand to have batteries replaced and installed plus having another 300 plus to have seat fixed. A very disappointed customer. And will sell it or trade for another one but definitely will tell whoever gets it the truth about it. More

DO NOT buy ANY vehicle from WestGate Dodge Ram dealership at 6421 Old Westgate Road in Raleigh. You have been warned!! Spent $51,000 last moth in a used vehicle there. A few questions in, and I mean SIMPLE questions, like "Is the Sirius XM radio trial membership allowed to be transferred to one of my other vehicles", to what is the light on the dash that won't come off, and sales guy Eric Holmes (who acts nice when you are buying the vehicle) LITERALLY ignores all of your text messages after PRETENDING that you can text him, anytime, with "any questions"! Nope! Apparently you can't! More
Do not take your vehicle into this place for service! I took both my dodge challenger and Ram 1500 in for service back in October 2023. My Challenger needed a battery, however after I received the ca I took both my dodge challenger and Ram 1500 in for service back in October 2023. My Challenger needed a battery, however after I received the car back my dashboard lit up with all kind of warning lights. After 2 months they were unable to correctly diagnose and fix the issue. In February after frustration I took the car to another Dealer in Durham and within a week they diagnosed the issue as being a loose ground wire likely caused by whomever replaced the battery. The dodge Ram was taken in the same week for what I thought was a bad clutch. They diagnosed the issue as a bad clutch, ordered the parts tat came in in January and the have yet to schedule my truck in for service 4 months after the parts came in. After placing weekly chasing phone calls(Often with no return phonecalls) and being told I would be scheduled the following week on and on I went to the drastic measure of having the truck towed to the same dealer in Durham and a 2 days later they diagnosed the issue as an oil pan leak and stated that I didn't need a clutch that I was about to pay for at Westgate. Take your vehicle to this shop at your own peril. More
The happiness from my experience is based solely on the service I received from Jacques Michel @ Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. Their selection is great & after the purchase of "Tango" {the Durango} the service I received from Jacques Michel @ Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. Their selection is great & after the purchase of "Tango" {the Durango} there were a couple of issues regarding the tire & one of the seatbelts that needed attention. While it would take more than the afternoon to repair the issues & the need of a loaner vehicle {that was NOT available}, Mr Michel kindly sat me down with a snack & beverage & then he disappeared. He returned just a bit later with the keys & Tango was safe for the holiday travel planned that weekend. Jacques took it upon himself to make the necessary repairs & get me back on the road safely. What mattered to me that day mattered to him. You care about the vehicle your choosing and Mr Michel will care about you AND your vehicle. My son-in-law purchased a truck from Mr Michel shortly thereafter. He's part of the family now. Go where it matters, go to Westgate and ask for Jacques Michel, the best in the business More
I contacted them about a Maserati GranTurismo. I saw the tps light was on in the photos and asked what was wrong with it and was there any other known problems. I was told the TPS light was from I saw the tps light was on in the photos and asked what was wrong with it and was there any other known problems. I was told the TPS light was from the cold and was no longer on and no other known problems. I asked for a price breakdown. They tried to tack on an 800-dollar charge for low jack/window tint. They wanted to charge 350 to deliver the car from 125 miles away (other dealers have been quoting 500 from over 500 miles away but I was willing to overlook the charge) and after the tax fees they wanted to charge 132.25 non-tax fee. I told them I didn't want nor asked for the low jack/window tint. They told me they put it on all their cars and it couldn't be removed. I said funny... other car dealerships have had no problem removing the charge. Then they said will you buy it if we remove the charge? At this point, you lied and know you did. I am not going to take your word on the TPS light or other known issues. Don't play games and lie to make sales. Integrity is everything. Read the other reviews and just go to a different dealer. I inquired about a vehicle today, was told it was still available. They took my contact info and I made an appt for tomorrow morning when they opened to test drive it. Instead of calling to inform me some available. They took my contact info and I made an appt for tomorrow morning when they opened to test drive it. Instead of calling to inform me someone else was inquiring about it today, and I needed to come by today instead, they sold it. Poor business practices. I inquired and was set to look at it tomorrow, and I was coming to actually purchase the vehicle. The fact the person I spoke with earlier couldn’t give me the courtesy to tell me someone else was inquiring is just poor business. I will never consider this dealership again. More
I inquired about a vehicle for my business on March 13. I was informed by a female customer service representative that the vehicle was in service and I would be contacted by a member of the sales team. Af I was informed by a female customer service representative that the vehicle was in service and I would be contacted by a member of the sales team. After seven days of waiting, I had my finance call and he was informed the vehicle was available and he could come to test drive it. I went the next day instead of him. After viewing the vehicle and test driving, I gave my information and left. The next morning I made an offer on the vehicle only to be informed they could not accept any offer lower than asking due to the cost they had in the vehicle. The salesman I had was relaying the information he received from the finance manager. I saw on their service record the vehicle had a lo jack system installed and a new alternator. I asked if this was the reason they would not negotiate and I was informed no. I made a second offer that was six hundred dollars less than full asking price. The salesman called back and said the finance manager said he could not take less than asking. I informed the salesman that if this is how this dealership does business and treats their business customers, then I am not interested. The salesman said he would inform the finance manager and I have not received a call or text back. I did submit an email to customer service with no response. This is the most unprofessional dealership I have dealt with. I am writing this review for other business owners and clients to be aware. More
