He took the time to go over my needs for a vehicle, and provided a couple of options to make sure I was choosing the one that would be best for us. He made sure the delivery process picking up the car was smooth, and took care of any issues I had to make sure I was 100 percent happy before pulling away. More
My experience at this dealership was great. I had done all my research beforehand and came in knowing exactly what I wanted. Braxton and Mike were helpful and answered all my questions. Buyer beware - check for floor mats and 2 keys before you leave or you will be stuck with over $800 to get them yourself. I recently bought a used vehicle at the advertised price on line. I was shown p leave or you will be stuck with over $800 to get them yourself. I recently bought a used vehicle at the advertised price on line. I was shown pictures of the car (with mats), the window sticker (showing it was optioned with mats) and I was given the second key. I drove 2.5 hours to pick up this car. Upon arriving home, I noticed the floor mats were not secured. Why? That's because they had swapped out mats with a different car. Unsecured mats are a safety hazard as they can get stuck under the gas pedal. Also, I took out the second key and it does not work either. Took it to my local dealership and they said it's for another make of car and could not be programed to my car. Cost to replace and program ($632). Cost for mats $199. Of course, I contacted Braxton and asked them to correct this. I even offered to pay half. He declined, blaming it on his manager's decision and saying I had gotten a good deal on the car so they wouldn't do anything here. Technically, this car was used (Driven 1 month and had 900 miles on it), and so they think I should accept it as is. And generally I'd agree. except when you show me there are floor mats and give me a key, I'd expect those to be right. If you had told me up front - this is such a good deal, we are removing the mats and the second key, then at least I would have knowingly had to agree to it. Not cool. If they operate this way, what else do you have to be worried about? More
WORST DEALERSHIP EVER IN MY OPINION. Rather than post my review, here is my BBB complaint word for word. Purchased a used vehicle from Westgate Jeep. Sales process was fine. Drov Rather than post my review, here is my BBB complaint word for word. Purchased a used vehicle from Westgate Jeep. Sales process was fine. Drove vehicle off the lot, 5 safety problems surfaced with control center lights. Brought the vehicle back, it was looked at for five minutes and I was sent home pending parts. Returned the vehicle ten days later. Dealership returned the vehicle to me unfixed. Submitted the vehicle back to the dealership. The dealership's service manager advised he was "no longer associated with the repair or the vehicle". An outside shop was being used to repair the vehicle, and Westgate, per an employee, had a running argument with them about an undisclosed accident and poor repairs they did. The dealership had the vehicle for a total of 10 weeks. I had to involve Jeep Corporate to make any progress on the vehicle. During this time the Sales Manager, Chris Vollmer, was handling all communication. Two weeks into the ten weeks he stopped communicating with me at all. Voicemail at the dealership, voicemail on cell (he provided the number), text to cell all unanswered. With Jeep Corporate's help Westgate took the vehicle in-house to attempt repair. It was returned and several of the safety problems immediately returned. I have since brought the vehicle to another dealership. They requested all the repair orders, repair invoices, and detailed technician's notes for all service Westgate and their outside vendor performed on the vehicle. I have asked for this documentation repeatedly and have only received a single repair invoice, no meaningful technician's notes, no response. I have attempted to gather this information by contacting Tom Ayers, the dealership's current Service Manager, the manager of the technician who finally took ownership of the repairs. I intend to enter arbitration with the dealership seeking restitution for loss of use of the vehicle, and the lack of the attendant documentation requested multiple times. The dealership has disallowed contact with any mgmt. or owner. More
I’m not someone who rushes to leave bad reviews — I’ve worked in customer service my whole life. My first jobs were at McDonald’s, then as a dishwasher, Dunkin’ Donuts late nights, cab driver, and almost worked in customer service my whole life. My first jobs were at McDonald’s, then as a dishwasher, Dunkin’ Donuts late nights, cab driver, and almost 10 years with Hilton. I understand how hard these jobs can be, and I never want to see anyone lose theirs. But what I went through with Westgate Jeep Raleigh and Jeep Corporate has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with any brand. I brought in my 2018 Grand Cherokee (only 37,000 miles) for what started as minor issues, and ended up paying almost $5,000 in repairs — water pump, thermostat, batteries, A/C expansion valve, coolant leak, and even a windshield/cowl issue. I was told the job would take two days, and it took over two weeks. The lack of communication was brutal. My first advisor was let go mid-repair, and I had to keep calling just to find out what was going on. No one from management ever reached out — not once — even after I contacted Jeep Customer Service (Jeep Cares) directly. To this day, Jeep Corporate hasn’t responded to my email. I had to pay $250 for a tow and $411 for a rental car, extending it four times because no one gave me a straight answer on when my car would be ready. The team was friendly, but clearly untrained and unsupported. What this situation needed was someone — anyone — to step in and say, “I know this has been a mess, and we’ll make it right.” Instead, when I finally got my car back after 16 days, I was simply asked, “You happy to get your car back?” That line summed it up: nice people, no ownership. I don’t blame the employees. This comes down to leadership and training — and a brand that doesn’t seem to back its customers or its front-line staff. I’ve loved my Jeep for years, but spending nearly half my car’s trade-in value on early repairs, with no communication or follow-up from Jeep, has made me seriously reconsider the brand. Cars are major purchases, and people deserve better than this kind of experience. More

Chrysler refused to replace the light and Westgate failed to fix it after bringing it in 4 times. Then they said they don't work on leaks anymore. So now I have mold in my truck and brake light that leaks. Will never buy another vehicle from Westgate or a Ram truck. More

I asked him to look up the year and model to see if the crush washer may be same or different for the engines for that model year. He said, it is not negotiable, I need the engine type or vin #. Very poor service. More
