Dont waste your time, money, and sanity by coming to Westfield Ford. Do not buy the service package...they will treat your $24000+ car like it's junk I bought a new 2012 Fusion in July 2012. I had a ra Westfield Ford. Do not buy the service package...they will treat your $24000+ car like it's junk I bought a new 2012 Fusion in July 2012. I had a radio issue and brought it in a month later. Instead of fixing it they added to the problem again and again. Took my car for joy rides. Got grease on my interior, left my tank on empty, and didn't even fix the radio. I left with more issues. I then complained to corporate who told me to go back. A year and a half later, I try again. This time they have the car for a total of 1 week and call me telling me it's done. I go in thinking they finally fixed it and every part they removed was left out of place...additionally, my front passenger side bumper was popped off...why would they want me to see that? They bent my $150 key...and they put 220 miles on my new car.... when I asked them they ignored the questions. The service director, Steve Barry doesn't care at all after all the garbage he put me through with making an appointment with me and not showing up for it at 7am on a day I had to work. The issue remains but I will never let them touch my car again. Not one person, including the Service Director Steve Barry offered an apology of baby kind for the damage done. Worst customer service ever. They cannot even take responsibility for what they did to my car. When Westfield Ford conducts service on your vehicle they do not check it to see if it was completed and your car was put back together correctly. Even from the outside of my car you could tell it wasn't right. You Dont need to pop out my front bumper to fix my radio...not acceptable. Needless to say I have told everyone of my friends and family members never to purchase another vehicle at this dealership. They have no respect for their customers. The incompetencies of the workers is disgusting. Let your infant work on your car...they'll do less damage. 14 thumbs down for Westfield Ford. Horrible Service. More
I would not recommend this dealer to first-time car buyers. I found a car on-line that I was interested it, and it was at this dealership. It was slightly overpriced for a used car, but I figured the buyers. I found a car on-line that I was interested it, and it was at this dealership. It was slightly overpriced for a used car, but I figured they would be willing to work with me. I went in, test drove the car, the car felt great. I made a couple comments about the car, since I had done a fair amount of research I knew all the specs already. The salesman stated an incorrect spec about the car. He stated the specific horsepower and I said, "no, that's the HP for premium fuel" and he said, "no no that's definitely the horsepower" So who was right? Edmunds, KBB, and numerous other websites? Or this guy. It was my first indication of an uninformed salesman potentially hoping I didn't know what I was talking about. We walked in and sat down to discuss financing. He didn't press the dealer financing and said I can finance however I want. We ran their deal which was very similar to what my credit union was offering me. I asked if we could work the rate lower. He said, "absolutely not, that is our bottom rate" Here is where I made a rookie mistake because that car was clouding my vision since I liked it so much. He stated "you should definitely put a deposit down on this car, it is in hot demand and I've got others interested" The deposit was a hefty $500, but I did it, I let my eyes become wider than what was happening. He told me multiple times that the deposit was fully refundable, which I didn't think was an issue since he wrote it down on the paperwork. What he didn't warn me about, was their procedure to obtaining that refund--foreshadowing. I went home, did more research about the dealership, found a lot of mixed reviews, just like here on yelp. I did more research on the car, and I decided I could get a similar car for less elsewhere. I came back since they refused to process the refund over the phone. Oh by the way, the salesman who dealt with me, I called him, e-mailed him, NEVER heard from him, seen him, don't know what happened there. When I came back, a more experienced salesman and manager sat with me. They hounded me constantly about why I didn't want to buy the car. I don't feel in our society we need to give a reason, but I said I wasn't interested anymore. They said, oh well, let's see if we can work something else out. I was all ears. This is where I had to hold in my discontent. I told them the rate my credit union gave me, and their eyes lit up, faces got a little red. It was as if they were thinking "damn really? this kid got that rate?" Instantly, the manager started scrambling on the computer and said, "we can definitely offer you this rate". This rate was never discussed, never originally provided. I was told previously that the original rate was "the lowest they could go". This set off more alarms for me that they were hiding things, which as a consumer made me feel very uncomfortable. At that point, I wanted my refund. They fed me some information saying "oh the lady that processes the refunds isn't here right now, I went right to the top to try and get your refund, it can't be done today". I was too infuriated to hassle, so I just told them I'd come back and left. I tried to get the refund done over the phone again, and again they insisted that I need to come in person. They asked me why I wanted my deposit back, and since the car was genuinely overpriced I told them I couldn't afford it and that was that. The manager on the phone made a backhanded comment, "you didn't know that coming in?" instead of saying "oh I completely understand sir, we'll get that taken care of when you come in" nope, completely unprofessional. Then when I came in again, I was pretty insistent on getting the refund and just refused any other option they were giving me. Then I was given the very strange policy they have for their refunds of deposits. They only process refunds on the 15th and 30th of each month. I didn't understand this policy at all, also, their refunds have to be processed by these "special people upstairs" I can process refunds with huge companies on-line instantly, I can process refunds with regular cashiers at any store. So, whatever, I was done fighting, they gave me a receipt stating that it was a refund. You may notice I write this on the 16th. When refunds are posted to my credit card, Visa automatically posts the pending transaction. I fully understand that the amount may take a few days to fully post to the account, but pending transactions are immediate. They had no problem swiping my card to take my deposit the day of, and I saw the pending transaction when I got home. Needless to say, I'm still dealing with it two weeks later, but I've got the paperwork, and my credit card company will back me up since I have the proper documentation. Lesson learned, never put down a deposit, especially here, you won't see it for awhile. More

We recently took our car to be repaired. We have a 2012 with an extended warranty, however, we ended up paying more for the repairs than expected. No one could answer our question about why a new car would with an extended warranty, however, we ended up paying more for the repairs than expected. No one could answer our question about why a new car would need so many odd repairs. When I inquired about the repairs/issues, all they could say was "no this isn't typical for a new car". Then why am I paying for it? I wanted them to meet me half way with the $1200 bill I was just issued - but to them, all they wanted to do was sell me another car. Instead of helping us with these costly repairs, the only solution to them was to sell me another car?? I was appalled with the way the GM handled this situation. I will never go back there again and I will tell all my friends/family not to go there either. More
My review its for the service Dept. oil change, airbag recall and a loose mirror. Very disappointing!! I had been doing business with this dealer for the past 3 years, its been always OK.. not great j recall and a loose mirror. Very disappointing!! I had been doing business with this dealer for the past 3 years, its been always OK.. not great just OK , honestly what I paid for the oil change here it was cheaper than other places. after a couple of hours I pick up my car and I was told it was good to go but the mirror need it to be changed.. Minutes driving I noticed that the mirror was still loose but more than before. initially I was told it will take 3 hours for the whole process and 1 hour later from dropping i got a call that the car was ready. Anyways I drive back home almost an hour and when I get to the gate I go crazy looking for the gate opener that was there in the morning when I drove to the dealer.. I call the dealer and talked to Scott who didn't seem to care.. since after I explained to him he kept silent for a minute and then asked me if I was suggesting that someone stole my gate opener... what??? that's great customer service!! No Scott I don't think no one stole the gate opener but I'm positive either the guy who vacuumed the car accidentally suction it or the gate opener got alive and walked on it's own. I decided to drive back to the dealer hoping I could recover the gate opener that cost me $75.00 but no luck... about the mirror Steve the manager said I need it to buy a new mirror $210 and he offered free installation... mm an hour earlier I though the car was ready to go. not only I had to drive twice to the dealer, spend gas, waste my time and get stressed. i trusted my car with my belongings to them and nowhere in the shop it says to remove personal belongings prior to work being done. Never again! More
This was the worst experience I had! Too much detail to go into--their service department doesn't communicate with each other or the customer. Took my car in for service and found scratches on my new car. go into--their service department doesn't communicate with each other or the customer. Took my car in for service and found scratches on my new car. After a couple of instances I decided I didn't want to deal with Ford (especially Westfield Ford) anymore. I went to another local dealer and traded my car in (what a pleasant experience). Trying to get reimbursed my for cancelled warranty plans was a nightmare! The finance manager, Tony didn't return my calls or respond to my email. For some odd reason, the general manager, Carm stepped in and that was another nightmare! He didn't receive my email, didn't receive my message and other BS excuses. I even copied the owner of the dealership on an email and didn't get a response! I started the process of the cancelled warranties on August 23 and didn't receive a check until September 21! More
I would be very careful going there and letting them drive your trade in. They purposely ripped the wires from my crankshaft sensor so they could lower the amount of the trade after they promised me a drive your trade in. They purposely ripped the wires from my crankshaft sensor so they could lower the amount of the trade after they promised me a certain amount. Luckily, I was smart enough to tow my car home and have my mechanic look at it before I let them rip me off. It would be interesting to know how many other people this happened to at this dealer. I'm very upset I bought my new car there before knowing the truth of what they did to my trade in. More
