Westchester Toyota/Scion - Service Center

POOR SERVICE IN REGARD TO RE-CALL Poor Service in regard to Re-call Service I arrived at the Westchester Toyota Service Center at approximately 6:50 AM and turned my Poor Service in regard to Re-call Service I arrived at the Westchester Toyota Service Center at approximately 6:50 AM and turned my vehicle over to the service department at 7:00 AM. I spoke to Rich Modafferi a few minutes later in regards to the two re-calls on my vehicle. The P/S FRT Air Bag Inflator Campaign and the Spiral Cable replacement Campaign. At this time, I asked Mr. Modafferi how long it would take to get these two re-calls done and he was unable to answer my question and said that there are too many factors on how long it would take. He also stated that he only has two techs that work on these re-calls and sometimes the internet connectivity is slow. I called Mr. Modafferi at approximately 4:26 PM to check if my vehicle was done and he told me that he was going to check on my vehicle now and he will call me back if it’s ready. We decided to drive to the service department since it was getting late and I didn’t want to get the call by 6 pm or later that my car is ready and now I have to rush to get there before 6:45 PM since they stop service at that time. We arrived at approximately 5:20 PM, I walked to Mr. Modafferi’s office and once again he told me that he was going to check on my vehicle and see if it was ready. I received my vehicle back at approximately 5:50 PM… I just can’t believe that it would take almost 11 hours to COMPLETE two re-calls, and they can’t say that they were waiting for the parts because the day before I called and they told me that they had the parts. I am really not happy with the service provided by Westchester Toyota Service Center, AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION FOR ANYTHING…..POOR POOR SERVICE! More

Excellent Service and Great advisors I have been a customer of Westchester Toyota since 2011 and am now on my second Rav4 from them. The service department is so far superior to what was I have been a customer of Westchester Toyota since 2011 and am now on my second Rav4 from them. The service department is so far superior to what was my experience when I was a cusomter of Manhattan's Toyota agency (1996-2010). The staff is far more helpful, considerate, and careful with the car and their customers. So consider that I drive from Manhattan to Yonkers' Cross County Mall just because of how good they are. I highly recommend anyone buying their car at Westchester Toyota to not make the mistake of going elsewhere for service on their cars. And I would like to recommend anyone with a Toyota model consider using them, even if you did not buy your car from them. You won't be misled, overcharged, or underwhelmed with their service. More
