I got a prius lease that will end this coming August 2014. My mileage was 63,000. I was introduce to Nelson and we finalize to include all those over mileage and I choose a RAV4 LE AWD 2014. He comput 2014. My mileage was 63,000. I was introduce to Nelson and we finalize to include all those over mileage and I choose a RAV4 LE AWD 2014. He compute everything including the DMV , and others which we had a deal of 640.00 per month for 48 months. He told me this will be the final monthly payment. Today which is January 20,2014 , I went back to pick up the car. Nelson brought me to Joe Kundrat and I was surprised that my monthly goes up to 669.00. He explain it to me mathematically it is not possible to be 640.00. it is very disgusting and inappropriate to respond to an educated person. I am a Medical Doctor and General Surgeon back home and I am not ordinary registered nurse in here. II saw Nelson downstair and I told here that I said something before but he wants me to listen to him first before I talk. I think it is the other way around. I am the customer and Nelson Should listen first to me . I don't know what the work ethics and how professionalism works . I was very disappointed More

This was the first time I purchased a car in a number of years so I figured the car world had changed a bit. I was very pleasantly surprised when visiting this dealership. I was greeted at the door by a fr years so I figured the car world had changed a bit. I was very pleasantly surprised when visiting this dealership. I was greeted at the door by a friendly receptionist that called a sales associate (Nelson) and he helped me through the entire process from there. What I really liked was that Nelson worked with me to get the car I wanted based on my needs and usage and not some car they wanted to get rid of. He was very thorough and patient showing me and telling me about the cars that were in the range I was interested in. Also, Joe in the finance office was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and really took the time to explain everything. There was no hard selling and no pressure and I was able to get the car I liked. I was very happy and satisfied driving away in my new Toyota. I visited a number of other dealers and this was by far the best in terms of customer service. I would highly recommend this dealership and if you go ask for Nelson. More

I don't know why I've waited so long to let people know about this, I'm sorry to anybody else who has been cheated by this place. This has happened before, and had I known I wouldn't have gone people know about this, I'm sorry to anybody else who has been cheated by this place. This has happened before, and had I known I wouldn't have gone there, my mom forgot to tell me not to take the car there. The guy I met with is a huge schemer, and aside from extending when the car would be ready more than once (including just now, the fourth time in under a week), he completely lied about needing various upgrades. When I responded to his recommended tire, oil and timing belt (among others) change by explaining they had been replaced only a few weeks earlier, he completely shut down, knowing he had been caught in his lie, and sheepishly made a comment about how 'the stickers weren't there', something my normal mechanic (who had fixed that issue himself) disputed as well. My mom called when she got back to find out why her car wasn't ready, and he picked up and when she asked for him and said who she was, he said 'oh he's out to lunch', but my mom recognized his voice, it was definitely him-- he screened us. In the initial report, he straight up added details about things that needed work that I did not say myself. I know I could not have said them because aside from the fact that the problems didn't exist, the car I brought this time was my moms and I wasn't totally sure myself so I couldn't have said anything... The man was going to charge thousands upon thousands of dollars to 'repair' random parts of the car that I luckily know were not broken. I can't say for sure that it was Hector specifically because I know neither what goes on in the back, nor the general inner workings of this place, but all I can say is never use/work/get involved with Toyota Services in Yonkers or possibly more specifically Hector Alvarez, they are dishonest and slick.
