Attempted to charge $2,000 in "dealer fees" I had a range of problems in buying a car from Westchester Toyota, but in interest of being to the point and not getting into subjective issues, I'll I had a range of problems in buying a car from Westchester Toyota, but in interest of being to the point and not getting into subjective issues, I'll stick to the primary problem, and the main reason I will never give them my business again: they tried to charge me $2,000 in non-itemized "dealer fees," and were never able to explain what the $2,000 in non-itemized dealer fees was actually for. These fees did not cover sales tax, document transfer, title check, etc. -- those were all separate line items on the bill of sale they drew up. And this is on a $14,000 car, so the non-itemized, unexplained $2,000 in fees represented about 15% of the total price of the car! Note: I did end up buying a car from them. It took me about 30 minutes of arguing to get them to drop the fees down to $300, which while still frustrating, left me at an attractive price point. So, while I bought the car, I would and will never, ever bring my business to a dealership that approves of trying to get customers to pay what was upwards of 15% of the car's total sale price in undefined, non-itemized fees. This is dishonest behavior. There are plenty of other dealerships out there that don't try stuff like this in the first place. More

Pablo put me in a great Highlander Limited I had a great experience at Westchester Toyota. When I went in I was unsure of what kind of a car I wanted. Pablo Diaz got to know my needs right off I had a great experience at Westchester Toyota. When I went in I was unsure of what kind of a car I wanted. Pablo Diaz got to know my needs right off the bat and within 45 minutes we had found my car. I knew I trusted him when we test-drove a Highlander that drove a little funny and he said "lets take this back, it's not the car for you." The next car we found was an awesome color, had everything I could have wanted, and for a great price. I bought it that night. I'm thankful to Pablo! More
