My 2017 Corolla had check engine light on and I brought in to be diagnosed. My service adviser was Chris Walls. Chris called and said the repair would cost 545.00 plus parts. I was then e-mailed a bill for in to be diagnosed. My service adviser was Chris Walls. Chris called and said the repair would cost 545.00 plus parts. I was then e-mailed a bill for 2513.26 to repair. I told Chris i couldn't meet that price and I was e-mailed and texted bill of 179.23 for diagnosis of the problem. When i picked up car the cost had changed to 434.49 I wanted an explanation of this change so I waited for an hour to speak to Chris who was nowhere to be found and no manager was present. Then I was told I can't have the keys or car until I pay the bill in full. Looking to resolve the issue I I spoke to service manager, Rich Heins the next morning. He stated that time to dispute bill was when you pick up car. But he said that bill need not seem right. He promised to call me tomorrow after he talked to Chris. After 9 days still no return call. I called corporation. Rich Heins finally called and stated that the bill for 179.23 was a prebill. The bill for 434.49 was right- case closed. I PAID 434.49 WITH ABSOLUTELY NO REPAIRS DONE ON THE CAR.Please don't ask me to call to speak about matter .Unable to be put through to you.Contact me if you would like to speak about this matter More
Oct 17, 2022 - Brought in my Corolla today for warranty scheduled maintenance and I must give a wonderful shout-out "kudos" and thanks to both Michael (Service Dept Westbury) and Kevin (a Toyota veteran bu scheduled maintenance and I must give a wonderful shout-out "kudos" and thanks to both Michael (Service Dept Westbury) and Kevin (a Toyota veteran but first day at Westbury Toyota) -- both were extremely on top of things there and so organized regarding my vehicle. About 3 months ago I purchased a new battery from autozone for my 2017 Highlander. About a week ago my car shut off on me. I was advised my my mechanic to take the car into Toyota because the auto start/stop malfunction alert came on as well as the esp light. I took it on Monday thry told me it's because I didn't put a tru start battery in. Keep in mind it's the same exact battery I purchased from autozone just a different sticker cause we all know Toyota doesn't make batteries. So I purchase a Toyota battery and I chose to install myself. I took the battery to a mechanic to install I watched him install it with my own eyes. I watched him tighten the battery. The car kept saying battery charging. The auto stop and start never came back on by Wednesday same error comes up. I take it back to dealership the touch my remote start not the auto stop and start I brought in for. They tell me it's a loose battery cable. I know for a fact the cable was not loose. But this is the reason they keep giving me. One of the mechanics in the shop verified that the battery auto zone sells is the same one Toyota sells and the issue happened with both. I am over this dealership and there careless work and poor customer service skills im truly unsatisfied and will find another dealership to take my car to. I contacted Toyota headquarters and will continue to do so. The crazy part is one your own employees tald me your mechanics don't know what they're doing.. and she was right More
