Worst experience ever. Complete rip-off! Gave me lease financing for a manual 2009 Camry CE based on $28,000 when the car was msrp $20,400. The most basic car ever. Totally took advantage of me being new financing for a manual 2009 Camry CE based on $28,000 when the car was msrp $20,400. The most basic car ever. Totally took advantage of me being new to the process and didn't go over figures...just went straight to monthly payments. Made me pay for pre-paid maintenance without my knowledge. Also found out via service department print-out that the car had a little more mileage on it than was indicated on the odometer and contract. I realized afterwards that I was overpaying for the car by between $125-$175 per month. Most dealers overcharge and try to deceive their customers but this one has no regard for human life in these rough financial times. Avoid Michael David and this dealership at all costs! More
Brought my parents car in for service. 2007 camry with 14K miles. Battery kept dying out. The car was two months out of warranty so I had to pay 150 for a new battery. Also did a transmition drain and 14K miles. Battery kept dying out. The car was two months out of warranty so I had to pay 150 for a new battery. Also did a transmition drain and fill, oil change and a coolant change. I was told the price for the transmition drain and fill was $80, Coolant was $60 and had a coupon for a free oil change. I expected the total amount to be 290 plus tax. Prior to leaving he printed out an estiimate stating $300? I asked him why, it should be 290 plus tax? He proceeded to check his calculator and told me yes about 300 and I asked him again...but it is 290 plus tax, right? He said ya, about 300. So I signed and left....BIG MISTAKE. Came back at the end of the day. My bill was $20 higher than it should of been. Noticed that I was charged $80 for the coolant change. After a 30 minute wait the 'customer relations manager' and myself are infront of Mr. Salas. Who then procedes to tell me that he told me the price was $70 and that I had signed off on a subtotal that stated $300 so he was only going to decrease the amount by $10. I proceeded to tell him that he told me $60, and then this arogant guy tells me he knows what he said...right??? thats why he charged me $80. Then I bring to both of their attention that they are running an advertised special on a billboard hanging in their waiting room for a spring special $59.99 for coolant and oil change, a top of all fluids, all hoses, tires and brake check, a fraction of the services I received. Then I told the both of them to put me under that promotion. Both of them said I was not eligible because I used a free coupon for the oil change. So I proceeded to tell them, ok....charge me for the oil change and put me under the promotion, because it will still come out cheaper....tell me why the 'customer relations manager' had nothing to say, and Mr. Salas, very arogantly states....well he signed for $300 so that is what he is being charged. Are you kidding me???? These people must be crazy???? I took the bill and paid and left after waisting and hour and fifteen minutes to pick up my parents car. Ridiculous......NEVER EVER will this car go there again, or will this place be recomended....this guy was one of the most arogant people I have met. Let them keep the $10 they over charge and under serviced me for. Let see how much longer he will have his way at that job, once I get finished letting enought people know about what happened. More
I stopped in to check out the cars and deals which be offered during this economically troubled time figuring it might be a good time toreplace my aging Avaon. After spending 15 or so minutes in any empt offered during this economically troubled time figuring it might be a good time toreplace my aging Avaon. After spending 15 or so minutes in any empty showroom with only employees I left feeling like the invisible man. No one looked at me, offered help of any type or otherwise acknowledged my presence. I will try to find a dealer who is interested in my business and who might be interesd in selling a car. More
Earlier today, I brought my vehicle into the service department of Westbury Toyota for their so called "Yellow Service" which is what they call their 5,000 mile service check and oil change. I had m department of Westbury Toyota for their so called "Yellow Service" which is what they call their 5,000 mile service check and oil change. I had my own synthetic motor oil and TRD oil filter, so I brought this to the attention of the service advisor, and he said that the price of the oil and the filter would be deducted from to the total price of the service. When my service invoice was written up, I noticed that in addition to being charged $3.98 for a 16 oz. bottle of windshield washer fluid concentrate (Autobarn and Strauss charge .99 cents for a 1 gallon bottle of windshield washer fluid), I was in fact charged $6.95 for an oil filter. I should not have been charged for an oil filter as I had supplied my own filter, and since the cost of the oil is included in Westbury Totoya's "Yellow Service", I should have been given an additional credit for the oil which I supplied. Although I was initially told by the service advisor that I was not being charged for the oil filter, upon calling someone higher up in the service department's "chain of command", I was told that I was in fact charged for an oil filter. They agreed to deduct the price of the oil filter from my invoice, but they refused to credit me for the oil. They also refused to remove the outrageous charge for windshield washer fluid. Other Toyota service departments top off their customer's windshield washer fluid reservoir free of charge, but this Westbury Toyota has to nickle and dime their customers by charging them for this service! I will never bring my car into Westbury Toyota's Service Deparment again, and when it is time to replace my car with a new one, I will take my business elsewhere! More

I was searching for the best price on a '08 Highlander and this dealer was one of my stops. His price came in higher than any other so I was not considering buying from them. I received a call from my sal and this dealer was one of my stops. His price came in higher than any other so I was not considering buying from them. I received a call from my salesman and explained that I received a lower price elsewhere and he said if he can get his manager to sell for 1,000 less than my lowest offer would I buy from him. I of course said yes. I went in and he filled out the paperwork, called my insurance compny and explained to me that I would drive it home. Everything was done except for my signing on the dotted line and it was at that point the manager came out and said he could not sell to me at that price. The old bait and switch. The oldest game in the book. More
I did not buy my car from this dealer but when I went back to my original dealer (Millenium) for service I was given the run around. I found Westbury Toyota's service department extremely customer frien back to my original dealer (Millenium) for service I was given the run around. I found Westbury Toyota's service department extremely customer friendly and orginized to make the service customer's life much easier. Although I was not as happy with Westbury's sales facility and staff when I visit that location my next Toyota purchase will be from Westbury due to their excellent service department. More
This is a very slick operation. I get the impression they do a volume business by the way the customer gets an assembly line type of treatment. I was quoted a price on a car, and gave a deposit. It to they do a volume business by the way the customer gets an assembly line type of treatment. I was quoted a price on a car, and gave a deposit. It took several days for them to get the car, and when I was called, they tried to switch me on the color (turns out I had selected a very popular color which was in great demand). When I refused to take the other color, they told me the interest rate on the financing had gone up considerably (I had originally been told it was locked in with the deposit, but because he did not have the car in stock and there was no VIN, he weaseled out of the deal - slick, like I said). I am sure he got more for the car I ordered and he was trying to pawn off a less popular color on me. I had to practically threaten to sue to get my deposit back because they played all kinds of games with that and strung me along for weeks. Judge for yourself whether this is the kind of dealership you want to do business with. I did not. More
