Here’s how my experience went at Westbury Jeep. On October 7th, 2020 I arrived at Jeep with intentions to trade in my Wife’s 2017 Honda Accord (registered under my name) for a Jeep Cherokee. Prior to October 7th, 2020 I arrived at Jeep with intentions to trade in my Wife’s 2017 Honda Accord (registered under my name) for a Jeep Cherokee. Prior to arriving to the dealership, I researched the cost of the Jeep and the value of my car and printed my findings, I also printed copies of two Vehicles that caught my eye while looking online. I was paired with Sanjev Jain as my Sales Professional. I provided the Sales agent the documents and gave him a rough estimate of what I was looking to pay per month for the vehicle. Mr. Jain than looked to see if the vehicles were available and both were. Next my vehicle was appraised and that’s when I discovered my findings on Kelly Blue Book was off instead of having 2k in equity I was 2k in the red (because of an accident I was unaware of prior to my ownership), I than asked Mr. Jain is there anything we can do to work a deal out, possibly lower the price of the car or raise the offer for the Accord, honestly my plan wasn’t to put money down because I thought the Honda had 2k in equity but I was willing to put 1k down to strike a deal. Mr. Jain than said maybe we can add a few hundred dollars to the appraisal, but I don’t know. I responded by saying see what we can do with the price of the vehicle, Mr. Jain said Ok and walked away, a few minutes later he returned and said the price is the price. My response was I guess that’s all, I than got out my seat and told him Thank you and walked away, he than said hold up and give me his business card. A positive take away was everyone was very friendly and kind at the dealership. As for the Sales professional he didn’t attempt to show me any other vehicles to come closer to my price point to strike a deal which was completely SHOCKING to me, especially being that my credit is A+. After mentioning they can possible add a few hundred dollars to the trade in there was no follow-up on that subject. This guy gave me the impression he wasn’t interested in selling a car at all, not a good Sales Rep in my opinion. Which is the reason for my two-star rating. More
Was misled by salesperson and finance dept.. Took my car in for service and found out then that I had no coverage. Done with them!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! 👎👎👎 in for service and found out then that I had no coverage. Done with them!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! 👎👎👎 More
As an intelligent business owner would, Joel offered to start fresh and make amends outside litigation, whereas his partner Keith Donnelly was completely unwilling and even accused me of lying about incent start fresh and make amends outside litigation, whereas his partner Keith Donnelly was completely unwilling and even accused me of lying about incentives, which was more of a case of them not applying than me lying. There’s no way to lie about incentives.... you either have them or you don’t—everybody has their own stips. They couldn’t get a clear idea of the stips. I wouldn’t recommend anybody EVER make contact with him during a deal. EVER! More
Absolutely no integrity On Monday August 3, 2020 I purchased a "certified" preowned Jeep Grand Cherokee and extended warranty. Both were paid for in full. On Tuesday the car On Monday August 3, 2020 I purchased a "certified" preowned Jeep Grand Cherokee and extended warranty. Both were paid for in full. On Tuesday the car stalled twice. Their story is that it is normal for a car to shut off when coming to a stop. On Wednesday morning the car was dead. I spoke to the service department who had me on hold for 20 minutes and then told me they would tow it back but did not have a loaner for me. Since I live 2 hours away, this presented a problem. I called Westbury to tell the salesman but it was his day off so I was transferred to the sales manager. I told her I was unhappy with the car, explained why, and said I wanted to bring it back. The response from the sales manager was a flat 'No." When I asked about the three day window, she said there wasn't any. When I mentioned the Lemon Law, she told me to hire a lawyer. Then I said I wanted to bring the car to another dealer to look at it and was told they would not service my car if I did that. I did it anyway. They ran a test on the battery and found it to be OK but on Thursday the battery was dead in the morning again. Another jump and this car is now in the shop at Southampton Jeep and will be there until they figure out what’s wrong with it. I then got an email from the Westsbury Jeep General Manager stating that they would not service the car, would not take it back, and that years ago we had a similar scenario which indicates to me that their business practice is to sell cars as fast as possible (the salesman told me they were a "volume business") without doing their due diligence to make sure their certified preowned vehicles were indeed certified. I then received a call saying they were blocking my number. I would never have gone back to this dealership but they were the only one with inventory, I was paying $150/day for a rental, and I needed a car as quickly as possible since the head gasket on my previous car had cracked. and it was undriveable. Wanting to return a car in less than 48 hours because it’s obviously defective is not unreasonable. Telling me I can’t, interrupting me continually when I was trying to speak and then saying I need to hire a lawyer in a snotty tone of voice is beyond despicable. Did I get angry? You bet. I'm a 71 year old senior citizen and they were taking advantage. I believe this dealership lied about this car being certified. Refusing to service it is another issue since I purchased an extended warranty. Blocking my phone number is the totally inexcusable. They should have been apologizing all over the place and offering to take it back or to replace it immediately. I purchased this car in good faith and the car has problems. There is some reason the battery drains overnight but as of right now I have no car, have lost a week of work and have been aggravated beyond words. More
Waste of time. AVOID. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. This business is BAD. After researching all available certified pre owned vehicles in the tri-state area, we approached AVOID. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. This business is BAD. After researching all available certified pre owned vehicles in the tri-state area, we approached Westbury with pre-approved financing, to purchase a specific vehicle. We did a test drive and within one day said we wanted to purchase. The process that followed was so convoluted, scheisty, stressful and at the end of it, the vehicle was sold to someone else after we were halfway through a day's long process where Westbury was requiring us to sign ONE SIDE of a buyer's contract (without being able to read the reverse terms & conditions), that had the WRONG VIN number on it and a mandatory $998 dealer fee... While we tried to get clarification on the form, we were pressurized to sign it. Spent time actually using photoshop to identify issues with the contract. No wonder they sold the vehicle to someone else as they realized we weren't going to get got. Feel bad for that purchaser. SCAMMERS. Truly terrible. More

I would highly recommend Ed Hyne if your ever interested in purchasing a vehicle. Thanks again Ed!!! More
My very own first car! Wow. Great buying experience here provided by Westbury’s A-Team; Anthony Dinelaris and Bobbie Baweja are true professionals. I came into the dealership having been beaten up by the c provided by Westbury’s A-Team; Anthony Dinelaris and Bobbie Baweja are true professionals. I came into the dealership having been beaten up by the car buying process at Huntington Jeep, emotionally and credit wise. But Anthony immediately treated me with dignity and respect. I kept trying to tell him to hold on, that I didn’t want to waste his time, that I have no credit depth and my credit history is challenged. He didn’t want to hear any of it; he kept the process focused on finding me a car that worked for me. Anthony is an expert in his field, a professional in his trade, and transparent in his craft. The entire process was very much consultative. I am in a sales role myself and at no point was Anthony using smoke and mirrors; quite the opposite. He brought in his Finance Specialist, Bobbie, to get us across the finish line when the time was right. It’s a very nerve racking experience coming into a dealership with my credit challenges..to say the least. It can actually feel embarrassing at times. Having been dragged across the floor a day earlier by the Finance department at Huntington Jeep, meeting Bobbie was a relief. Bobbie was a man on a mission to get this deal closed though. He walked up with genuine concerns with my credit history and mistakes but walked away with confidence and determination to get us across the finish line. (Imagine my shock, having spent the day before getting berated by the finance manager at Huntington Jeep) Bobbie treated me with dignity and respect...such great, friendly, and hardworking fellas. When it was all said and done...from 1-5:30 PM; Anthony and Bobby worked diligently on my behalf and I can’t thank them enough. I’m sure there was no money to be made on this deal after all the concessions with lenders that had to be negotiated to get this deal closed. Yet, Anthony and Bobby continued to do right by me. Westbury Jeep will have my business for life because of the professionalism of these two! More
