Actually I dreaded the thought of going to look for a new/used truck. I had not in the past always had a great experience in buying new or used vehicles. Well this one time was the great exception, truly had an exceptional experience dealing with the folks at Westbrook Toyota, Westbrook Connecticut. I had got pre-approved for my loan and every day for the last several weeks kept checking in the local newspapers (live in southern New Hampshire) as well as on the Internet. My Internet searches at first was restricted to 50 miles radius. Then on a Friday morning I expanded the radius and came across 2014 Toyota Tundra with a snowplow. As I look at my list of things that I wanted for the truck I was surprised to find almost all of them with there, truly I thought this was to good to be true. I called Westbrook Toyota and ended up speaking to Steve Ouellet, Internet Manager. He answered the many questions that I had and worked with me for the next couple hours. From my conversation with Steve and the emails back forth between him, my credit union and me, I was able to get all of the paperwork signed and ready for the transaction Saturday morning. It was about a three-hour drive to the Toyota dealership and when we drove in I was met by Dawn Bradley, Sales Consultant who had a wonderful smile and stated she was expecting us and made both of us very relaxed and comfortable. She showed us the Toyota Tundra answered all my questions, prior to leaving she went over every aspect of the truck, she left no small detail not cover. I was very impressed with her demeanor, felt like I had known her for a long time. I also met the business manager (you know the guy you have to sign all the paperwork with and make sure all the finances are correct) Aiham Alkhatib. This is usually the area I dislikes the most. You have finalized the price of the vehicle and here is where you normally get pressured into adding all kinds of extra thing. To my surprise, no pressure, very down to earth and a pleasure to talk to. He certainly made me aware of all the options but not that high-pressure salesmanship I was dreading. As I stated earlier it was a pleasure to talk to him, in fact my wife came to the door wanting to know if we were done yet. At the very end just before leaving I met Tom Ryan Gen. Sales Manager, again I was met with exceptional customer service we had some small talk about our lives, I learned that he was in the United States Marines Corps. It was a real pleasure talking to him. My experience with the personnel from Westbrook Toyota was nothing BUT exceptional in every aspect. If you want a more positive experience in purchasing a new or used vehicle I highly recommend Westbrook Toyota, in Westbrook Connecticut. More

My experience yesterday at Westbrook Toyota had to be the oddest and worst ever. Last week I went to the dealership and explained to the salesman, Chris, that I was there on behalf of my 23 yr old daughter, who lives in Boston and would be moving to Colorado in late August, and that she needed to acquire the vehicle shortly before then, as she needed it to travel to CO. Also, I preferred to buy locally. We looked at the RAV4, the car of my daughter's choice, then went for a test drive. Fast forward one week - she came down yesterday and, without an appointment, we went back to Westbrook Toyota. I sought out Chris and he showed her the RAV4. He then told us he would get keys, pull a car up, and go for a test drive, this time with her. But to our surprise, amazement, shock, you name it, he reappeared, told us it was the end of the month and that since we weren't buying today, we would have to come back at a less busy time. What??? I reminded him that my daughter was down from Boston to look at the car. It fell on deaf ears, as we would still have to come back another time, apparently at his convenience, certainly not ours. My daughter and I both stood there in utter disbelief at what we were hearing. Instead of leaving, as he expected us to do, I went into the office, explained the situation, and to the dealership's credit, they assigned us another salesperson, who did a fine job. But what got to me, almost as much as what had just happened, was that while we were sitting with the new salesperson, for a good 30 minutes, I could see Chris standing out front doing absolutely nothing except, I guess, waiting for a better catch. Not sure whether we will go back, as being there and most likely seeing this "professional" again, and I use the term loosely, would make for an uncomfortable situation for my daughter and me. More

From price negotiation to trade in value, everything was above board & transparent. They delivered my vehicle when every other dealer could not even locate said vehicle. The closing on the deal was efficient & the smoothest I have experienced in picking up a new vehicle. Tom Ryan runs a sales crew that he backs up with his word. I would go out of my way to purchase another vehicle here without even thinking about other alternatives. More

Stacey was a very competent Salesperson, customer friendly and has a great deal of knowledge of the cars she sells. My sales consultant, Stacey Coleman was welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process, ensuring that I had all of the information that I needed to make the best selection. Stacey went above and beyond in following through the deal right up to the moment I drove the car out of the new car delivery area. She patiently went through the many amenities of the car to ensure that I understood how things operated, even synchronizing my I-phone to the car. Stacey followed up a couple of days later via email to ensure that I was enjoying the new car and to offer her continued support for any questions that I might have. Stacey did an exceptional job! Additionally, the sales manager, Doreen, and the business manager, Andy, were very professional and made certain that I understood all of the details of the financial aspects of the purchase. Indeed, each individual at Westbrook Toyota made my experience there a positive one, adding to the pleasure of driving my favorite car home...the 2013 Avalon. The day after I took delivery I returned to have the plates put on and James was the young man who assisted me. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful with some technical questions that I had about the use of the sound system, the navigation system, etc. Once again, I departed very pleased with the level of service and support. I have always had my car serviced at Westbrook Toyota and will continue to do so. It is a great place with great people committed to their work. Thank you to each person with whom I worked. I am from Long Island and recently had an issue with another dealership in Conn. that "just happened to get a deposit from someone off the street just before I got there" on the truck that I was interes another dealership in Conn. that "just happened to get a deposit from someone off the street just before I got there" on the truck that I was interested in. Three hours of driving wasted. Westbrook had the Tundra that I have been looking for at a fair price. Jon Lehane called me back quickly and was able to negotiate conditions and take a deposit over the phone. I receive a fair value for my trade in and was driving my 2011 Tundra out of the dealership the following day. The whole team was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Jon. Westbrook puts the Long Island dealerships to shame. Thank you all again. More
