Great Experience Buying TRD Pro Tacoma My father and I came into Westboro Toyota one Saturday as he was thinking of buying a new truck. We show up on one Saturday morning and am greeted by product specialist Dave Jason right as we walk in the door. There was a Tacoma TRD Pro that caught our eye as we were walking in and asked if we could take a look at that. He got us set up to do a test drive and in the truck within minutes of getting to the dealership(Unlike a nearby GMC dealership), all without putting any pressure on us to do so. The test drive itself was laid back and Dave was flexible with the route we wanted to take. After asking countless questions and concluding the test drive, we had fallen for the truck. When deliberating what to do with my father, Dave gave us a respectful amount of space, which was much appreciated. The lack of high pressure sales tactics made the purchasing process an enjoyable experience. We discussed price and accessories with Dave as well as the manager and were able to come to an amicable agreement and pulled the trigger on the truck. Before purchasing, we noticed that the shifter boot was decoupled from the shifter handle and informed Dave that we would like it fixed before taking possession. He said he would handle it personally and have it done by the time we come to pick up the truck. 2 days later we come to pick up the truck and Dave had kept his word by personally seeing that the shifter boot was fixed. He even explained what most likely happened and what the technicians did to fix it. Overall I would rate this car buying experience a 10/10 and if you are in the market for a new car or truck, I would go to Westboro Toyota and ask for Dave Jason. More

He is very polite, couteous and more importantly he puts himself into customers shoes and suggests the right things to be done. He has patience to explain what is going on and what should be and shouldn't be done. I would always wait to go to him for my service needs. Overall he is great and very assuring. More

They said they could not sell it to me because they did not have the paperwork ready, so I put down a deposit. After 1.5 months of waiting and having frustrating conversations with them, they finally got the paperwork done. I asked them if they could give me a rental or help me out somehow because I put a big deposit down and I was afraid my car was going to die. They said they didn't have any available, I dont really believe that. The sales team and financial department were professional and got me a good % on my APR. It was the waiting for WHOEVER to get their paperwork done correctly. They did compensate by giving me some money off. I think it wasn't enough... With that said, I love my vehicle and wouldn't trade it. When I took it in to get maintenance done, the suppose of "new" tires they put on it were very warn. I found out by looking at the tires that they were 3 years old, not "new". It seems the "new" Goodyear Eagle tires they put on were complete junk. About 4 months later one ended up popping and they didn't help me out with ANYTHING to do with the tires. Really frustrating... It's nice that they have a cool and efficient waiting room with wifi and they clean your car for free but, I would never go back to them for any service! Just an OK experience with them. Lucky for them they had the exact vehicle I wanted and was willing to put up with them.... More
Dealership, Salesperson, Finance manager were AWESOME!!!!!!! I recently bought my very first new car, a 2017 Toyota Camry LE. I showed up on a Sunday night at 5pm (right when they close) and really had no intention of buying one that night- I intended to shop around at multiple dealerships in the area. Bryan Carney was my sales person. He sat with my father and I and stayed well past closing time to help us. He was so great. And I was a somewhat difficult customer. I had a trade in, but had never negotiated. Bryan worked with us and got us a great deal. He was funny and handsome and made me feel really comfortable. I signed a purchase and sale maybe two hours later! I couldn't believe it! All the shopping we had intended to do, and there we were buying my car at the very first place we stopped at. It was great. Then we went and met with the Business Manager, Pedro. I mean, I cannot say enough about this guy. Hilarious, very smart, so genuine. I was really impressed. He made me laugh my way right through that meeting- and I had heard deals can blow up in the business office. Not so with Pedro. I really felt like he was working alongside me and had my back, even as he went to bat for me with the banks. The next day we returned, this time with my mother in tow, and she can be a "challenging" woman, but both Bryan and Pedro were great with her, and with all three of us, which is quite the dynamic (as my parents are divorced!) and by the end of the day, the two of them had completely won me over (and oh yeah, I liked the car as well) and I owned my first new car! Honestly, if it hadn't been for these two guys, I would've likely shopped around, and there is so much competition out there, who knows if I would've come back. They made it hard to say no, and I mean that in a really good way. Actually, because they were so awesome, my father came back just three days later AND BOUGHT THE SAME CAR from them!! We both got a GREAT deal, and the cars are amazing, but we both know we can go back there anytime and ask for these gentlemen and get great, quality service from them. Truly a pleasure going to Westboro Toyota, and working with them. We will be back and I plan on sending some new customers their way! Thanks again, Kristy Raben More
Lipstick on pig, but still a car dealership Bait and switch: After asking for the woman (Kim) who I had been dealing with via emails and indicated I will deal with when I arrived I was met by a Bait and switch: After asking for the woman (Kim) who I had been dealing with via emails and indicated I will deal with when I arrived I was met by a salesman who said he’d be helping instead (BB). He semi-explains this is the way they do it. Demanding: Taking my personal information before test drive he says we “need your cell number.” No you don’t, you would like my cell phone number. Deceptive: Get in car for test drive. On the front seat is a laminated price chart. It was as if I were in a furniture store. On top of the price chart and in bold is the Kelly Blue Book price, darker and smaller in the middle, the cash price (which was 750 more than advertised price) at the bottom, bold and bigger is the advertised price. BB asks will you be financing (a question all dealers want to know) because if not the higher middle price is the cash price. I didn’t see this anywhere on their site? I ask him to take a look at my trade-in and give him the keys while I test drive the car. I hate doing this knowing getting them back is always an issue. Indifferent and controlling: Returning to dealer BB asks did I like the car. I say it’s ok. Without further dialogue he gets up and states you’re financing 4-5 years. I say probably 3 but I’m not sure I even like the car. He says I’ll go run some numbers and abruptly leaves, completely indifferent to any conversation regarding my thoughts on the car. Then, what I could have been done online taking 15 seconds, instead 15 minutes later BB comes back with high numbers. (He also doesn’t have my keys which means I’ll have to have him “check with his sales manager” to get them back and then have the sales manager try to work me over as part of the hard sell.) “Right Price”= we’ll haggle over everything else: My trade is listed at 1500. Three days before was offered 3500. from different dealer. I point this out. Instantly 1. He rudely questions this. 2. Starts offering to negotiate the trade. I thought this was a “Right price policy”. In the background I here a couple negotiating the financing rates with the famous I’ll go check with my sales manager line. Not having my keys I know I’ll need to go through this as well. Wasting time: I give up and tell BB I need my keys to leave. A minute later the sales manager comes over and put’s my keys out of polite reach. Asking me about the car and my preferences he begins to surf the website looking for alternative. Does he think I haven’t done this yet, since I originally found the car online? Finally he accepts I’m not interested in the car or waiting while he surfs the web. Starts to say goodbye and still doesn’t give me my keys. I have to rudely reach between him and his computer to get my keys. Ridiculous. This past July I purchased a Scion from a Toyota Dealer on Route 119. It was a much, much, much better experience. Westborough Toyota is as old school, pressure tactics as any dealer I’ve recently been to. More
