We shopped there when looking for our car, but I could tell immediately that the sales person was not professional. We ended up actually buying our car in Atlanta due to selection and value. Since we live in Knoxville I decided to try Cogdill for service. I have owned at least 15 cars and from the beginning I knew this was the most unorganized service department I had ever encountered. We took our car in for service and advised them we had a warning light on the car. They completely ignored this and now less than a week later the car is undriveable. I recommend if you have a poor experience to reach out to Jeep Customer Service. Maybe if they receive enough complaints it will raise a red flag. I did contact the dealership as well and agree with other comments that customer service is not existent. More
Service Your Car Elsewhere! Several very, very, very poor experiences with Jim Cogdill's service group ... unfortunately, across the whole of the experience. Poor treatment of m Several very, very, very poor experiences with Jim Cogdill's service group ... unfortunately, across the whole of the experience. Poor treatment of my wife when she went in, poor quality of the actual service work (returned the Jeep to us saying it was fixed the first time - and boy, it sure wasn't; then, returned it the second time, saying that it's running normally and there's nothing else they can do). I then took it down to Lenoir City & those guys did a fantastic job ... not only with their customer service, but they found all the problems (and there were several) and got us squared away. More

They don't know when the delivery truck with my parts on it left Atlanta they just know my parts were supposed to be delivered over 4 days ago?!! Not sure why they cannot make a phone call and research a little further? But the real issue is the way I am spoke too. The customer service rep reports he has worked there for years. I will have to say that his customer service skill is low on the list of his job duties. It has been a chaotic experience and at this point I just want my Jeep back and I feel like the my service rep thinks it is funny. I have been promised phone calls but I always have to call and check the status. This is the same reason I did not buy my Jeep from this dealership. The communication is terrible and unprofessional. I honestly do not understand how this business keeps the doors open. My experience has been horrible and I hope if you are reading this you will save yourself some time and look elsewhere. If you do go watch for the red flags the will become clear to you very quickly. More

I was new to the Knoxville area and so I went Jim Cogdill, the nearest Chrysler dealership. The man at the service desk ordered the wrong size tire, partly my fault as I did not know anything about tire sizes ! When I was trying to correct the mistake, he ignored me and took a phone call. When I tried to explain to the manager why I was upset, he told me that if I was that unhappy, they did not NEED my business. Even after all these months, I still have a such a bad feeling about this dealership that I wrote this review ! More
I've used Cogdill as my factory service location for my Jeep and multiple Dodge Durangos since buying a home in Knoxville in 2004. They have serviced a 1997 Wrangler Sport, a 2001 Durango 4.7 SLT+, a 2006 Jeep and multiple Dodge Durangos since buying a home in Knoxville in 2004. They have serviced a 1997 Wrangler Sport, a 2001 Durango 4.7 SLT+, a 2006 Durango HEMI Limited, and now my 2012 Durango HEMI Citadel. On each one they have done excellent work and rarely, if ever, have had an issue that they haven't resolved in one visit. Gary has always run a very professional Service Department under Roger Boatner's immediate direction. I have used John Adorante's service team olmost exclusively over the years and I am always happy with the job they do. They do go the extra mile, as one day while I was out of town, my father, who was handicapped called me with a problem on his Grand Caravan. It was late in the day, but I called and spoke to Roger once I found out that John was off. Roger told me to have my father drive up and ask for him by name and he'd take care of his situation personally. My father called me back a couple of hours later to say that they had fit his van in just before they were closing up and got him back on the road. Great bunch of guys. More
Horrible Service!! We took our Jeep in to have the heater core replaced. They said it would be a two day job. Five days later...still no car. When we did get it back (on the sixth day) there were hoses stick core replaced. They said it would be a two day job. Five days later...still no car. When we did get it back (on the sixth day) there were hoses sticking out of the floor board, the dash wasn't snapped together properly and vents were broken. Our complaints were not taken serious by the manager. He accused us of doing the damage ourselves. A second look by another manager concluded it would have been impossible for us to do it seeing as we would have to take the entire dash apart to pull the hoses out. After another two days of repairs, they did not offer a single concession, rebate, oil change, NOTHING! They had the nerve to say that them fixing it was simply enough. We would not recommend this place to anyone! More
