Jim Cogdill has been a complete nightmare for me, ever since I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022 Summit Reserve. My Dealer was the worst I have ever dealt with. I ordered my new vehicle and once it arriv since I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022 Summit Reserve. My Dealer was the worst I have ever dealt with. I ordered my new vehicle and once it arrived, it was dirty on the outside, food crumbs in the center console. No attention to detail, no customer focus. Once driving this new vehicle, I noticed that there was a rattle coming from the passenger side engine compartment. I brought it in to the service team and they were able to address the issue a few days later but upon pulling the vehicle out of the service area, they smashed by bumper and it had to be replaced. Here it is, almost 3 weeks later and I still don't have my vehicle. Whatever you do, don't buy your car from Jim Cogdill, none of these guys care about you after they get their commission. I can't get anyone to return my call to help me get my vehicle back. This is, by far, the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. More
I drove over 100 miles to buy a 2010 Toyota Tundra that they sold me without disclosing that the AC compressor was out and that both front axles were broken, and in unsafe condition (requiring repairs of $ they sold me without disclosing that the AC compressor was out and that both front axles were broken, and in unsafe condition (requiring repairs of $2575.00 after I returned). All they wanted to talk about was their "as is where is" policy, they avoided the public safety issue and then accused me of "threatening" the dealership when I told them I was going to report it. They had changed the tires before I arrived and there is "no way" a competent inspection wouldn't reveal BOTH of these problems. They didn't offer me a dime for reimbursement BUT I'M GLAD TO BE ALIVE. NO DEAL IS WORTH DIEING FOR. This dealership needs to be investigated by the Attorney General's Office. I would give them a ZERO rating if it was possible to do so. More

I wish I could submit this with ZERO STARS! ! Truly the absolute WORST car buying experience we have ever had. We live 111 miles away and found a Grand Cherokee Limited X we were interested in. ! Truly the absolute WORST car buying experience we have ever had. We live 111 miles away and found a Grand Cherokee Limited X we were interested in. We called the dealership and Zach Knox greeted us over the phone. Information and pics were sent, and we drove over two hours one way to take delivery the very next morning. Added to the pricing of the car was Perma-Plate and a Mopar EVTS anti-theft device, both of which we were told could not be removed from the deal. We understand about the Perma-Plate protection and such, but we were later advised by numerous others that the anti-theft device CAN indeed be removed before delivery, which would have saved us $999. It also DOES NOT save us any amount on our car insurance as advised by our salesman, Zach. After looking at our text exchange, it also looks as if we were charged the $699 Doc Fee twice. There is a MISC charge in the amount of $699, as well as a Doc Fee of $699.... so look and look closer before agreeing to anything!! We purchased the vehicle on 3/15/22 and traded in a 392XR Rubicon in the process. By 3/28/22 our trade-in still had not been paid off. Yes, we were advised it could take up to 20 days to pay it off. Our credit union had been in contact and we wanted to reach out. After all, the dealership had already sold the vehicle we were still paying on. That very same day, Zach advised the check had been sent, but he wasn't sure what process of shipping it was in. That was a bit weird to us, so we called the dealership directly on 3/29/22. Zach answered and immediately transferred us to management. Management later called us back. They advised our deal funded the same day, but apologized that the payoff check had NOT been sent. The payoff check THEY were supposed to handle. The payoff check that, just yesterday, Zach said had already been sent. Management said they would send payoff by the end of the week. It had still only been two weeks, so we just left it at that and hoped for the best. 4/4/22 was the 20 day mark, so we called the dealership directly on the 5th. We asked to speak to the GM, and the receptionist denied. We then asked to speak to the GSM, store manager.... some kind of manager to help get to the bottom of this. The receptionist refused AGAIN!! She then hung up on us in the middle of talking, not once but TWICE!! We were livid. We text Zach Knox and told him we needed the GM's number asap, and that we were tired of the runaround. He tried to tell us the issue was with OUR check directly from the Credit Union. He also tried to tell us they don't normally take AutoPower checks, especially out of state. Although, he said it was "Perfect" when we told him EXACTLY what we were paying with before purchase. He said, "the check off of your credit union has not been cleared yet as of last week." Umm..... TWO managers already told us that our funds were received the same day!! So clearly, there was no issue with the check from our Credit Union. He was trying to deflect from the fact that they(the dealership) had STILL not sent our payoff check for our trade. The trade they sold the very next day. The trade WE were still paying on nearly a month later. They had also STILL not sent the paperwork over to NC DMV, and because of this.... we are now looking at a revoked tag because the NC registration isn't complete and the tag wasn't turned in. We are on our second temporary TN plate. Again, we live in NC. I understand the DMV is backed up and takes their time, but DO YOUR PART and get the paperwork to them in a timely manner. Just be real! If you haven't mailed it, SAY SO!!! Don't tell us(one or MULTIPLE times) things have been sent, try to make US look like idiots, talk down to us.... and the fault be in YOUR HANDS!!! The payoff check for our trade and the registration paperwork for the NC DMV was eventually overnighted via UPS on 4/6/22. OH! And as if it couldn't get worse!! The Limited X with just over 3k miles, essentially the root of this DISASTER, had to be TOWED to a local dealership for repair on 5/4/22. It has just over 3k miles and will not start. More

She was very unprofessional. She didn’t make sense, accused me of trying to commit fraud, and denied me the ability to buy a vehicle. Never have I been treated so badly from someone I was willing to give 30k plus to. I would not recommend this dealership and take your business else where. If I could rate it a zero I would. More
I had my Chrysler Pacifica in for service because the engine light had come on. I was told there was two solenoid that needed to be replaced and the cost would be $900. I told them I would get a second engine light had come on. I was told there was two solenoid that needed to be replaced and the cost would be $900. I told them I would get a second opinion. They had my car for two and a half hours and I had also asked for my right front tire to be balanced. They charged me $196 for finding the problem and another $30 for tire rotation and balance when I had only asked for one tire to be balanced. They then took $15 off my charge for the tires but left the $196 for finding the reason for my engine light being on. I left there and went to an O'Riley's auto store and luckily the person who helped me was a mechanic. He pulled out a hand held device that checked my engine light being off and told me I only needed the engine solenoid replaced. He looked up the part and I had a choice between a $21 solenoid or a $43 solenoid and he recommended the latter. I bought it and he went out to my Pacifica with me and showed me how to remove and replace the solenoid. It took all of about 15 minutes to do. The engine light went off after replacement of the engine solenoid. I paid him an extra $25 for his help.. I will NEVER return to Gogdill Dodge for ANYTHING. I was lied to and ripped off for a total of over $200 all for the 15 minute replacement of an auto part that costs $43 and 15 minutes to replace! Your Service Department is a complete sham! More
DO NOT BUY A USED VECHICLE from them! They are NOT SAFE!. Bought 2 trucks, and both were unsafe. One the motor blew up in and the air suspension didn't work, the other one the brakes lines blew out. They do NOT RETURN CALLS nor do they fix anything correctly. This was within an 8 month period, and between both trucks, we only put 2,800 miles on them together. Again. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Not if value your life, your family's life, or anyone else. Both of these could have created a deadly situation! NO STARS! More
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME..I wouldn't have given any stars if I didn't have to so that move on 🤬 They tell you what they think you want to hear...make promises they can't keep.. And then nothing. Dealing if I didn't have to so that move on 🤬 They tell you what they think you want to hear...make promises they can't keep.. And then nothing. Dealing with a gentleman for 2-3 months...chatting regularly..then it came down to the appointment (the one he set)and he conveniently forgets about me..radio silence However, he didn't forget...he thought /realized that I didn't have perfect 850+ credit rating..I would be a little extra work for him so he didn't have time for me.. At the dealership for my appt and someone else helps me since I was forgotten and then once again i wasnt a quick $80,000 sale for them and it was once again radio silence You have to be perfect in every way financially for them to have time for you and help you and treat you like a human being No one there tries to work with you or help you in any way..they look down their nose More
