Sweetheart you’re selling a used car not a used home. Aside from it all they lie over the phone and tell you to ask for a specific name when you arrive and hand you over to another sales person which makes you feel awkward and completely uncomfortable. It’s very weird of them but one thing I did back was make the employees feel the same way. Public beware and stay away from here. More

This was easily the worst car-buying experience I've had. I found a vehicle online that I fully intended to purchase and received an online quote of $42k, along with a $16k trade-in value. When I called the dealership directly, I was told the best price they could offer was $49k, with the same trade-in value. I sent a screenshot of the advertised online quote and then couldn't get ahold of anyone for several hours. When I finally did, I was told that doing deals online or over the phone was "against protocol." That made no sense given that the dealership itself advertised the pricing online. I made it very clear that I was not trying to renegotiate or ask for anything extra, I simply wanted the numbers they were publicly advertising. I even told them I was ready to put a down payment over the phone immediately once we agreed on numbers. Instead, I was told they didn't want to move forward unless I physically drove to the dealership first, because they were worried I might "get numbers and never be heard from again." After all of this, there was no follow-up, no effort to resolve anything, and no returned calls despite multiple attempts. I reached out several times and left messages, but heard nothing back. There are way too many Hyundai dealerships to deal with this kind of disorganization and inconsistency. For anyone shopping seriously, I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere. I ultimately had a far better experience at another Hyundai dealership. More

Drove an hour for a 2025 Elantra listed at $18700 and they would not sell it for that price. They said they had to add $6000 worth of add ons. Very disappointing experience. I called this dealership about an hour before arriving to confirm availability of a 2025 model, and I was clearly told the vehicle was in stock. Based on that confirmation, I made the trip to the dealership. When I arrived, I was then told that all 2025 models had been sold long ago. This was a complete waste of my time and feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic just to get customers through the door. If a vehicle is not available, be honest upfront. Customers rely on the information provided over the phone before making a visit. This lack of transparency and poor communication reflects badly on the dealership, and I would not recommend dealing with them unless you want to risk having your time wasted. More

I responded to an internet ad listing that says register for instant price. I picked a 2025 Palisade SEL Premium and a Caligraphy that interested me, I sent a message in the early morning and I had several for instant price. When I arrived that evening, I was told those 2 vehicles were sold a few days ago. I took picks of all the Palisade 2025 listed in the advertisement and showed the sales person and all those vehicles were sold and there were no 2025 vehicle left to be sold. The first vehicle I test drove was a 2025 Caligraphy, I asked the sales person, I thought you said there were no 2025s left and he responded, no 2025s left that was in the advertisement. I knew I most likely would not buy a vehicle from this dealership due to not being honest, but I wanted to test drive a Palisade and see the different trim models. The Palisade was a very nice vehicle and it was loaded with all kinds of tech, some that you would not use. Wow factor yes but practicality a good driver does not need all the tech. There are so many things to push on the screen, that I thought it would be dangerous to scroll through the options to select. Then the price of the dealer adding of $12,000 made the price around $63k. Why do you need paint protection for $3,500 why am I told the Palisade is a great car and when you talk about pricing they say you need the paint protection because the veiled easily get scratche from stones, even wear and tear from rings. I thought all the tech would be outdated in 2 years, I found out from my insurance agent prior to my visit to this car dealership that State Farm and other companies would not insure Palisades from the years 2020 to 2024 because Hyundai dropped vehicle safety features, I was concerned about severe depreciation ( not seeing a lot of Palisades on the road) and I would never pay $63k for a Hyundai. I just felt like this dealership was dishonest, did a bait & switch. I never say never, but I had 4 opinions of West Houston Hyundai 2 gave a positive opinion and 2 told me not to go to this dealership. I lean towards not doing business with this dealership, I was ready to buy one if they honored their advertisements, but I felt their approach was dishonest and tried to trick me about buying a much higher price vehicle. If it was an isolated bad experience, the dealership didn’t even try to call me back and the sales person never gave me his business card. He was very polite and informative, he just needs to work for a dealership that is more reputable that advertises more realistic pricing. More

I have also owned an Auto Leasing Company (I have been in the car business purchasing thousands of cars so this proves that bad car deals can happen to anyone!!) Short version: They sold the car that I had agreed to purchase, lied about it to me, and then ghosted me. Long version: I was in Houston on Thursday 8/14/25 for a work closing. My daughter tagged along with me and wanted to spend the day with me since she was leaving for SMU college the next week. We planned on going to lunch and after that she convinced me to go look at cars. I had been wanting to purchase a Hyundai Santa Fe but I still needed to test drive the Santa Fe before purchasing one. We live an hour outside Houston so the closest Hyundai dealership for us to visit was WEST HOUSTON Hyundai on I-10. We pulled in and looked at all the new vehicles. We were about to leave when I spotted one vehicle that was parked in their used car lot that was exactly what I was looking for. The car was used but super clean. I asked a salesperson named Sam Urbina Sr. if I could take the car around the block for a test drive. He threw me the keys and didn't ask me for one thing. So far so good! When we returned from the test drive 8 minutes later, his son Sam Urbina Jr. told us that his dad was with some customers and was busy. Sam Jr. would now take care of us.. I told Sam Jr. that I really like the vehicle and wanted to buy it but didn't have time to work the deal since I had my daughter with me. I already knew the sales price of the vehicle ($35,680 confirmed by Sam Urbina Sr.) which was a great price for the trim package I was buying. I wanted to make sure the car didn't go anywhere so I asked Sam Urbina Jr. if I could put down $2,000 to hold the car for one day. I went inside to fill out the paperwork for the hold but was told that since we hadn't finalized the price they would not take money and hold the car. I said ok I understand and informed them that I would come back tomorrow. As I was leaving the floor sales manager JULIAN GUILLORY ran out and said he knew who I was and appreciated me coming in. He also stated that he knew I was in a hurry and he told me that he would put the keys in his desk for ONE day and the Vehicle WOULD NOT BE SOLD. I said thank you and he immediately send me his digital business card. I wondered how he got my information but then realized that Sam Urbina Jr. put me in the system when I was trying to put money down to hold the car. Here is where I made the mistake. I trusted JULIAN GUILLORY. What a piece of crap and a liar. I should have continued using Sam Urbina Jr. instead. The next day I text JULIAN GUILLORY and asked him to send me the numbers on the car so we could finalized the purchase. He responded with :????? I sent him the VIN number. I got no response so I called him. He said yes ok and he would have someone reach out to me. Around 3pm I was starting to worry since my agreement with JULIAN GUILLORY was for a one day hold. I text him again and all of a sudden I got a random text from someone named Zia would said that the car I wanted would be $42,000. I said you are confused that I already knew what the price was and she said there was an amendment that was going to be added on. I said what are you talking about? I told her I would just call JULIAN GUILLORY instead. I finally got him on phone around 5pm. and he stated that I should just buy a new one and he would get me a great price. I said I don't want a new one I want the car that you are holding for me. I never heard back from him, so I called Sam JR. He said MY CAR WAS SOLD!!!!! I placed an online purchase where West Houston gave $10000 discount due to the car has 1600+ mileage on it. I called to confirm my purchase and when I got to the dealer, they printed out my order and $10000 discount due to the car has 1600+ mileage on it. They kept me wait there to look for the store manager, who later said that it is incorrect price, and we need to work on the number again and the number is far from the order that I placed online. I later looked for another car with my preferred color, and they again added almost 3k more on the price compared to their internet price from the manufacture Inventory shopping. They reason is that there are a disclaimer that West Houston can reject the online purchase from Hyundai and Roaster. While other dealers does not throwing big dealer discount, West does to lure the customers to their stores and where they had no shame to say that they do not have to responsible for the price unlocked online! This is a total scam and a waist of my time More

I had a wonderful experience with Ziya, and every other person I interacted with at this dealership. They had just received the exact vehicle I was interested in purchasing! My husband made an offer on a used vehicle yesterday during lunch and negotions were left on the table. Today, he got a text saying it was the GM and that they'd work with our final OTD offer. So we lef during lunch and negotions were left on the table. Today, he got a text saying it was the GM and that they'd work with our final OTD offer. So we left work early today to come do a final test drive and sign papers. Well, they claimed it wasn't the GM that texted, that it was probably one of the call center girls. They then proceeded to NOT honor our final offer that was accepted in the text thread and tried to sell it at a much higher price to us. We walked out very upset and feel our time was wasted.
