This is a follow up review for West Hills Ford: I recently picked up my 2009 F-250 from West Hills Ford. They replaced the alternator that caught fire one day after leaving their shop. I have to giv recently picked up my 2009 F-250 from West Hills Ford. They replaced the alternator that caught fire one day after leaving their shop. I have to give their service manager, Patric Simpson, a five star rating for admitting that their original estimate for repairs for the alternator, was excessive and that the estimated 5 plus hours of labor to replace the alternator was reduced to about two hours. Problem solved. Additionally, the vehicle was in the service department for front suspension issues. One of the suggested repairs was for new tie rods. I had just replaced the tie rods 30 days before. I declined all other suggested repairs as bogus! After this encounter, I received a responce from the general manager of West Hills Ford about my one star rating. A cursory response as required. He, Mr. Clay Crittenden, asked to me to contact him so he could help solve this matter. He did not answer is phone, or answer my voice messages, a waste of time! I will never go back to West Hills Ford! I have four other vehicles that I used to have serviced at at West Hills dealers. Similar issues! Over charging, bogus repairs! Please, do not take your vehicle to Bremerton's West Hills Autoplex dealers. I have friends that buy ford trucks. They live in Poulsbo, but will only purchase vehicles from the Port Orchard dealership ! More

Paid $190.00 for a 27 point inspection and diagnostics: They found many so called problems that needed to be replaced: i.e., new tie rods. I had new tie rods installed 30 days before this inspection! Replace two front shocks. I expected new shocks. West Hills ford wanted $1800 to replace two front shocks? I declined the bogus repairs and allowed them to change the fuel filters > $700 dollars. When I picked up the truck. there was a "check charging system light on" This did not show up on the 27 point inspection! The next day, the alternator caught on fire. The service manager told me to have the vehicle towed back to thier shop. They decided they were not at fault for the check charging system light or the ensuing fire. Even though they drove the vehicle out to me and the check charging system light was on.West Hills ford wanted over $2000 dollars to change the alternator and splice on a new 3 wire connector. 5 hours of labor ? DO not take a vehicle to west Hills ford! DO not take a vehicle to any Haselwood owned dealership! Additionally, If you need to talk to someone in the service department about an issue, do not expect them to answer the phone, text, or voice messages! They will not contact you. More
Austyn was fantastic. Followed through, got me the information I needed. If she didn’t have an answer she found a out and got back to me. It was a very good experience. The person helping me, Caitlin, was friendly, polite, and even walked me to my flex when done and noticed the protective pieces the mechanic placed in the driver seat were left she quickly whipped them out and took care of them for me. I have been coming for service at the same place since I bought my flex. I have always been pleased with the service. Thank you. More
Friendly staff. Took care of me and the family while we conducted business. In terms of time, the process if buying my vehicle was relatively quick. Took care of me and the family while we conducted business. In terms of time, the process if buying my vehicle was relatively quick. More
