Poor service over and over... keep track of everything before and after each oil change. 3 out of my last 4 service appointments have been horrible. 1st was good. 2nd I had abput keep track of everything before and after each oil change. 3 out of my last 4 service appointments have been horrible. 1st was good. 2nd I had abput 2 quarts of oil drip through town and in the driveway. I was told it was "oil caught in the rails" oil filter isn't near frame rail on this model. 3rd 3 hours at the dealership, car sat putside done for 45 of it. Also wrote next service due at 10k away ( this time is 3k and one before that was 5k). This appointment only took 2 hours but sat inside of service bay for 10 minutes waiting to be helped. Yeah, lady who pulled up outside got help before I did so I was rudely asked to move my car. Wish I could cancel my in house service package but was told i am not able to cancel. Best thing now is hope the service department at another West hills dealership is more competent. DO NOT PURCHASE IN HOUSE SERVICE PACKAGE. More

So wh My parents have purchased a few vehicles from this dealership over the years, and my husband purchased a car from them a few years back as well. So when it was time for us to get a vehicle for our family, we knew we could trust them! Last December we purchased a used Ford Flex. We had a wonderful experience! Michael Glidewell sold us the vehicle and Lorin Burcke handled the financing. I highly recommend both of them and West Hills Ford Mazda! They have always taken good care of us! Thank you again, Michael and Lorin! The process went smoothly and we are in love with our new vehicle! More

Car buying can often be a long ordeal with the customer often leaving the dealership with a car they didn’t really want or not feeling positive about the way the sale came down. Starting with Jeremy the internet salesman. He reached out to me after I inquired about a car from the dealership. He was knowledgeable and answered my questions,. He would promptly return my calls about the specification questions I had about the auto. He never pressured me to come in only suggested I give West Hills an opportunity to do business with me. After a few weeks of getting my self educated on the autos I wanted to consider, I called Jeremy for an appointment. I was given a time and date of my choosing and met with him to discuss my needs, He was open minded and suggested that some of my specifications I had questions about the auto probably would not be necessary after I discussed my driving needs to him. I got the impression he was not trying to sell me but to match my driving requirements to my driving needs. I was then passed along to Kevin who worked with me on nailing down my specifications. Again he gave me the impression that he was more interested in me making the right purchase for my driving needs as opposed to loading a vechile up with unnecessary and expensive options. When time came to discuss price I did not feel like his main goal was to use his knowledge of pricing to the dealerships advantage. He seemed to be empowered by his management to help make the pricing a win/win for me and his company. This has never happened to me in the past with price negotiations with an auto. I think giving the sales representatives enough wiggle room to make the best deal for all is a positive for the management of the company and the buyer. I did not have to sit around and wait as Kevin would have to go back and speak with the manager and consequently come back and say it wouldn’t work (sound familiar car buyers?). My trade in was rock soiled on the blue book value. No games about this or that with the trade in. The financing was seamless and no going back or forth on rates or down payments. In fact he was able to find better financing then I could through my cu. Overall it was a very seamless transparent business deal. More
Terrible Made an appointment for oil change and had to wait 3 hours. Why make an appointment???? I was at the dealership at my appointment time 9:00. When I a Made an appointment for oil change and had to wait 3 hours. Why make an appointment???? I was at the dealership at my appointment time 9:00. When I arrived I told the Service Advisor that I was there for an oil change and tire rotation under my maintenance plan. Howard the Service Advisor put in my information in the computer and told me it would be $79.99 for the oil change and $19.99 for the tire rotation. I told him My car was under a maintenance plan and he asked if I bought a special one through the dealer where I bought the car because he could not see one in the computer for my car. I proceeded to get a copy of the last oil change paperwork from my glovebox to show him the maintenance plan. In the meantime he went to track down another advisor who was familiar with Mazda. He was told it was printed on the paperwork that he just printed out about my car. After getting that straight I was told it would be 11:30/12:00 before my car would be ready. This is the first time I brought in my car to West Hills for service. Since I bought the car I have taken it to Olympia Mazda to get the oil changed and tires rotated and only had to wait a maximum of 45 minutes. I was very upset that it was going to take 2 to 3 hours for routine maintenance. I called my husband to come and pick me up (I live 30 miles from the dealership) so I would not be sitting there. My thoughts if it was going to take that long for the Service then earn people so they can make other arrangements! I finally got a call @ 12:00 saying my car was finished. When I arrived to pick it up the Service Advisor went over the paperwork and said he wanted to walk me to my car. He walked over to a Ford F-150 truck and tried to unlock it. I advised him my car was a Mazda and showed him where it was parked. My experience yesterday with West Hill was very unsatisfactory. I also questioned the Service Advisor about my armrests on the driver and passenger side doors. My car is only 16 months old and the foam is breaking down. He said that is the way Mazda makes their armrests and there was nothing he could do. I am going to call for a second opinion on that subject. I bought a car where after a little over a year something on the interior is wearing out. That is not right. More
