The professionalism of the staff at Autoplace Nissan was appalling! Whatever could go wrong in a car buying experience did go wrong. The worst part about it all was the staffs reaction to these problems. Fr appalling! Whatever could go wrong in a car buying experience did go wrong. The worst part about it all was the staffs reaction to these problems. From the salesman right up to the general manager! Absolutely the most unprofessional and most pathetic company I have ever worked with. If you want to buy a car that needs over $300 of repairs a day after picking it up and then to find out they sold it to you without a NYS inspection this is the place to go!! Get it together Autoplace!!! More
I usually don't do reviews but my service was so awful I hope someone reading this will not waste their time at this dealership. I was told to come in and I would be taken care of they would beat mi awful I hope someone reading this will not waste their time at this dealership. I was told to come in and I would be taken care of they would beat mike barney nissans price. When I got there I had to wait to be seen ,then the dealer who contacted me pawned me of on someone else because he was to busy. The other dealer was okay but not but would not even budge a bit on the price even after I told her that I was told I could get a better price. I just walked out so mad.Needless to say I just purchased my new Nissan rogue sv family package at mike barney Nissan. Thanks for nothing autoplace. you made me a mike barney Nissan customer for life. More
Service is horrible. Advised 3 times could not duplicate an intermittent problem. Typical dealership excuse. Service told me bring your vehicle when the problem is happening so that we can duplicate the iss an intermittent problem. Typical dealership excuse. Service told me bring your vehicle when the problem is happening so that we can duplicate the issue. Finally, when I was able to demonstrate the problem the Autoplace Nissan service turned me away stating I needed an appointment???Really???? So that you can tell me there is nothing wrong with my vehicle and you are not able to duplicate the problem, right?. There were numerous issues with the vehicle from the beginning. Some repairs were completed; however some were not. For the repairs that were completed it took me 2 to 4 visits to have them look in to it. At my final visit to the service I received the worst customer service ever. This experience prompted me to meet with the owner who at first was listening and sounded apologetic but when I pointed out the failures of his service department(well documented) he became very defensive. When I advised him that one of my issues was resolved at another dealership he told me that it was a temporary fix. Well it was resolved and his department attempts to fix failed every time I came to the service. To be more specific the day after the service was supposedly completed. In the last attempt to create an excuse he told me that they do not have time to fix all the problems and everything was well documented. Well the dealership certainly had the time to take my money for the purchase of the vehicle but they could not stand behind their product. Also, when the owner could no longer produce any excuses for the issues I have presented to him, I was interrupted and treated like a child. I just wanted to remind him that his company success was built through his customers and that he should be more humble as we the customers put the money in his and his employees packets. Please, remember that in the end your dealership would not exist without the customers. The only person who treated me like a human being was the Service Manager. I thanked the owner for his time and since then I have never went back to Autoplace Nissan. In conclusion, I would have not wrote this review but few months after the last visit I received a phone call from Autoplace Nissan sales rep who thought that perhaps I would like to purchase another Nissan from them. I politely explaind that I would be delighted to do business with her; however she would have to get a job at another dealership as I will never purchase another Nissan from her current dealership. I purchased a used 08 Altima- we are not happy with the sounds the motor is making and I have had it into service twice -both the first week and the second week- I am being told that is normal noise. NO W sounds the motor is making and I have had it into service twice -both the first week and the second week- I am being told that is normal noise. NO WAY- the car did not make this noise when I had taken it for a test drive. I can hear the sound of the motor over my radio- that is not normal. We rented an Altima while on vacation last week as we wanted to compare. The car was as quite as could be and it is a rental. Cindy has been trying to assist us but with service saying there is nothing wrong I think she isn't sure how to assist. At this point I would like my husband and myself meet with Cindy and the sales manager to see how they are going to recitfy this situation. I honestly don't even enjoy driving my vehicle as it stresses me out. THhre is obviously something wrong with this vehicle and this needs to be fixed. As far as if I would recommend this dealership- I guess its up in the air-lets see how they satisfy us- at this point we are not a satisfied customer- I had a 2000 Maxima I traded in and loved that car. Never had any issues. Our 2 daughters both drive used Sentras- which I recomended having such satisfaction with my former car and they love their car too. I would also like to be in that same catagory- but this one is a lemon. More
I walked into this dealership knowing exactly what I wanted, what I was willing to pay for it, and pre-approved for Nissan financing. I was expecting a simple, relatively quick process. Simple, yes... wanted, what I was willing to pay for it, and pre-approved for Nissan financing. I was expecting a simple, relatively quick process. Simple, yes....quick, no. Instead, I was subjected to four hours of unnecessary chatter from a sales rep who seemed more interested in telling personal (and in some cases too personal) stories than in getting his job done quickly and efficiently. Perhaps it's just a matter of personal taste, but I found the rep's overdone, forced friendliness to be highly irritating, and the obvious lack of respect for my time was downright annoying. With that being said, however, I did get the car I wanted for the price I expected. Everyone involved in the transaction was friendly and helpful, and I am absolutely thrilled with my new Nissan. I would certainly recommend the dealership, and would likely purchase from them again....I'd just make sure to work with a different sales rep. More
I called up looking for a price on a new car. The first price they gave me was significantly better than the other four dealers I spoke with. My rep, Mike, then worked very hard to find the exact car I wan price they gave me was significantly better than the other four dealers I spoke with. My rep, Mike, then worked very hard to find the exact car I wanted in my preferred color. I was extremely impressed with his hard work and the honest, upfront pricing. I was going to purchase a car that didn’t have all the features I wanted from Dorschel Infiniti until I called Auto Place Nissan; they really exceed my expectations and always followed up with me promptly. Great service and honest pricing. More

Unfortunately, his boss, the sales manager is a shiftless liar. As I have done for the past 20 years, I paid cash for my new truck. Unlike every other dealer I have ever dealt with, Auto Place has a secret policy of requiring a certified check. I was finally told of this secret only when I showed up for my appointment to take delivery. The sales manager told the salesman to lie to me to get my money. I specifically and emphatically specified NO CREDIT check was to be run. He agreed, took my check and ran a credit check before I even left the showroom. The sales manager lied rather than even give me a chance to go get cash. I complained to the salesman who tried to apologize and take the blame for his liar boss, but the sales manager couldn't be bothered. He never called, never apologized and never expressed an interest in anything except lying, scamming and taking my money under false pretenses. The issue is not the credit check; it is lying. More
Jeff and John went out of their way to ensure my complete satisfaction with my purchase. Although there were a few minor "snags" along the way, both individuals were very helpful and courteous in assisting satisfaction with my purchase. Although there were a few minor "snags" along the way, both individuals were very helpful and courteous in assisting me with the resolution of said "snags" and kept a good humor, even when I was a bit frustrated. These snags were in no fault of either of them but they took it upon themselves to rectify these issues and did not attempt to make an excuse, they just fixed the issues to the best of their abilities. I have spoken with both of these men and they are well aware that I am pleased to have worked with them, pleased with my purchase and will readily recommend them to any of my peers and colleagues that are in the market for a vehicle.
