Jolene lied to me over the phone about a car they "had" in stock and lied about price even after I told her my baby was sick and I didn't want to go there if they could not make the deal I wanted. I "had" in stock and lied about price even after I told her my baby was sick and I didn't want to go there if they could not make the deal I wanted. I got there and she wasn't even there, they couldn't find the car and didn't come close to the price she had given me. Very unprofessional and a waste of time. More
We were willing to overlook the fact that it did not have the Top Rails on the Truck as pictured, but did not see that it did not have the tow hitch too. That was one of the reasons we bought a truck. We wer the Top Rails on the Truck as pictured, but did not see that it did not have the tow hitch too. That was one of the reasons we bought a truck. We were told that night that we bought the truck that they would find the other set of keys. The next day we found out that the CD player would not work. When I went in to have it looked at, they had to put in a new system. I asked about the key and I was told it would be $30.00 for key, $120.00 to program it, $80.00 for the Fob & $120.00 to program total $350.00. When I asked him about the hitch that was listed and was not on the truck, they tried to say that the page printed from the KBB was not the same listing, and that it never listed it as having a hitch or rails, even though the picture and description shows and lists them. I called KBB and the original URL for the listing is still there as well as the page we have printed with the detail of the KBB Listing. This is a case of Bait & Switch. I spoke to Kevin and was referred to Amel Moshabad the Sales Manager. I said we would be willing to take a key and fob in place of the trailer package, but was told no. As I was leaving, I was told I could have a key only, which I declined and said I will take it to the Better Business Bureau. More
Overall, I am very pleased with West Covina Nissan. The staff was very professional and the selection of cars were great. After shopping several Nissan, Toyota and Honda stores, we found our perfect car - staff was very professional and the selection of cars were great. After shopping several Nissan, Toyota and Honda stores, we found our perfect car - and they really went the extra mile to get us into the car without exceeding our desired payment (budget)! I love my new Altime, lots of room and gets great gas mileage too! More
After shopping extensively I found West Covina Nissan to be the best value and service of all of the Nissan Dealerships in the Los Angeles area. It was a bit of a drive from where I live, however including be the best value and service of all of the Nissan Dealerships in the Los Angeles area. It was a bit of a drive from where I live, however including the drive (approximately 45 minutes each way), the entire process took 3 hours from start to finish... (which is CRAZY!) I was greeted by Mo Khalil (the salesperson) who was professional and courteous. My trade valuation, Finding the right car, applying for credit, and finalizing the deal was completely painless. (Dare I say PLEASANT???) Usually... I equate purchasing a vehicle to getting a root canal! This was not the case in this particular instance. I LOVE my new Nissan Altima!!! Special thank you to Bobby in Finance and Bob Bailey the General Manager. I would highly recommend this dealer to my friends, family and anyone looking to purchase a new or used or (in my case) a certified pre-owned Nissan! More
After buying the car and having all service performed by West Covina Nissan since July of 2007, they have finally succeeded in losing my business. Since the original service manager was replaced, quality ha West Covina Nissan since July of 2007, they have finally succeeded in losing my business. Since the original service manager was replaced, quality has dropped tremendously. Three years in a row the car has had water leaks in the rain, resulting at least twice in electrical shorts. The dealership dragged their feet to fix them, taking as long as three months to order the correct weather stripping and install it. It seems they were primarily waiting until rainy season was over so I would put 12,000 miles on the car before it rained again; that way I would have to pay for the next repair rather than they deal with it under warranty. They refused to give a straight 12 month warranty up front, insisting that I bring it in next time and they would determine who would pay for it at that time, after the repairs were done. The latest water leak was the final straw. Keeping the car overnight, they left the car out in the rain with the driver's window down! The interior of the car was soaked. Additionally between 3 and 4 gallons of gas were siphoned out of the car at the dealer! I have meticulous written records on my vehicle since the day I bought the car and the dealer only put one mile on the odometer but burned almost four. I filled up the fuel tank on the way home to confirm the loss, went back to the dealer only to have the service manager not take me seriously, insisting that no one at the dealership would ever steal anything. I seriously doubt he even bothered to review the security tapes to see who the culprit was. West Covina Nissan's service department is not to be trusted. More
I took my car to the dealership for the 15,000 miles service. The cost was $339. When I picked up my car, I noticed right the way they did not changed the windshield wiper they promised in the package service. The cost was $339. When I picked up my car, I noticed right the way they did not changed the windshield wiper they promised in the package. When I asked they to replace them, they gave me cheap replacements instead of the original parts they promised me at the beginning. The worst part was when I took my car home, I found out that they did not rotated the tires as part of the package also. I started to wonder at that point if they did any of the other things at all. I was horrified to find out that they did not even change the motor oil at all. I was about to go on a long trip after the service. I cannot believe people can be so irresponsible. My wife bought her nissan from the same dealership. They lose at least two customers for good. More
The sales team was fine. Just what you expect from any dealership. A forign sales person who's probably been on the job a week or two. Not too helpful but nice enough & he tried hard..A sales manager with dealership. A forign sales person who's probably been on the job a week or two. Not too helpful but nice enough & he tried hard..A sales manager with a transparent "nutra sweet" personality. who goes out of his way (several times)to tell you that you are such a good and loyal customer that he is going to take care of you.( At least he could translate our salesman's arabic) The real fun began when we went to the finance guy! Right from the start he seemed annoyed that we we financing such a small $7000 amount. We are buying a used truck for our business and we have a heck of a trade in (which we bought from this new 3 year old dealership the first day they opened.)You expect a little small talk from the F&I guy because after all doesn't he want to get a little closer before he tries to sell you a bunch of overpriced dealership extras? After watching him rip up a page that seemed to pertain to our warranty my husband asked him to see the warrenty part of the contract. He yelled at us and said"YOU WERE ALREADY TOLD ABOUT THE WARRENTY!!! THIS IS POWERTRAIN & TRANSMISSION 100,000 MILES...THATS IT!!!)Then he said to my husband. "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH"Which is funny because I thought that maybe this guy didn't have much command of the english language. At that point I asked him if he had a problem with us or if maybe he just wasn't a people person. Without looking up he said "I'm just going to ignore you maam. This man refused to make eye contact with me and I'm quite convinced had never made eye contact with any woman. At this point it became quite obvious that this man "knew a womens place"and that place is 20 steps behind her husband with a veil covering her face.I was stunned at his lack of respect for women and for America!Needless to say Deal off!We bought 3 cars in 3 years at this dealership and in this American womans opinion it was 3 cars too many. My friend recommended I go here because he knew someone who worked at the dealership. I went to get a problem with my clutch and electrical checked out.... Took care of my clutch problem and was going to g who worked at the dealership. I went to get a problem with my clutch and electrical checked out.... Took care of my clutch problem and was going to go back for the electrical until I noticed they broke stuff on my car and all these new problems started coming out of nowhere. I noticed my idile speed all over the place as soon as I drove for 5 minutes, I thought "my idile speed motor is bad now... Whatever things wear out." I didn't get a real bad feeling until my car overheats with full coolant on the freeway and I pop the hood and the clip that holds the support rod is broken and jimmy rigged back together with a metal wire. (nonbody else drives my car). So now they broke this on my car and didn't fix it and on 03 nissan is having all the problems of a 10 or 15 year old car BEWARE More
