I had an awesome experience at West County Honda when purchasing my car. Dylan was very precise in asking questions to find a car to fit my needs, wants, and expectations. He asked questions about the smallest details that are sometimes overlooked. He found exactly what I was looking for and out. Harley was pleasant and very helpful during the finance process, and got me a lower interest rate and payments than what was originally expected. Everyone on the floor was very nice and I didn't feel pressured as soon as I walked in the door to purchase a car nor did anyone try to push a particular car-- it was all about what I wanted and staying in my budget. Woody allowed us to keep the car for the afternoon. From our initial greeting, I sincerely appreciated his laid back attitude. I didn't feel pressured to purchase the car and Woody treated us with respect throughout the car buying process. When I was unable to reach an agreement on the price with Woody's colleague, Michelle followed up with me and we were able to negotiate on a price the following day. I traded in a Honda Element and the the whole process was very smooth. Woody even came in on his day off. For the most part, I was pleased with the financing process as well. Harley was able to beat the interest rate that was initially quoted to me by a credit union, however, I was mildly annoyed by his attempts to manipulate me into adding on things that were not necessary for a used car with only 16,000 miles. He made a couple of comments during the process that I did not appreciate at all. All in all, I would recommend this dealership. Ask for Woody!! More

Eric Davis introduced us to Bret Donaldson and it was smooth sailing from there. Bret was informative, friendly, fair and honest.....all characteristics that we truly appreciate. We had no intention of buying a car when we walked into the dealership, but Bret, Eric (sales manager) and Bill (owner) truly wanted and worked hard for our business. As with any negotiation, there was some give and take, but in the end we landed at a level that was acceptable for all parties involved. A true win-win situation and we are off to a very good start of what will hopefully become a long-term relationship with the dealership. If you visit West County Honda, be sure to ask for Bret. You will not be disappointed! More
We had a great experience at West County Honda. We showed up at 8:00 pm on a Wednesday night and Jory was very accommodating. We knew exactly what we wanted and he helped us get it. Purchased used RAV4 for son who is finishing grad school in another town. Told sales person this was what we were doing. Also told finance mgn and even purchased extended warranty in son's name. Windshiel in another town. Told sales person this was what we were doing. Also told finance mgn and even purchased extended warranty in son's name. Windshield was cracked and sales person said they would set up getting it repaired, but to go ahead and take vehicle home. Did not hear back and after 6 days called around 9 am. Asked for sales person. Receptionist said she did not know anyone by that name. Asked if anyone else, transfered to voice mail. Called back asked for live person. Receptionist said I was yelling (wife sitting next to me said I was not and I know I did not yell) Again sent to voice mail. By that afternoon no return call. Called again, finally got sales manager whose answer was that he didn't know anything about cracked window and they could just expect us to repair. Finally said he would check with finance mgn and sales person both of whom I said knew about window. Did not hear back afte hour called again and sales mgn said he had called into both. Called back again around 4 pm was told he got hold of finance mgn who confirmed windshield and we made appointment to have windshield fixed next day. Having used glass replacement companies before expected it would take a hour or so, but when I got there was told it would take 4 hours or so, that they use a 3rd party glass company and would have to call him to let him know I was there. Why is was not set up at the appointment time unknown. I had to wait until fixed. Took car to son in Kansas City (5 hour drive). Several days later son called to say windshield was leaking. Called sales person who said that it wasn't their problem and I was making him angry. He said he would call me back but when I asked if he had phone number he hung up. Waited several days and did not hear back so called service dept. Spoke with Mark and explained windshild leaked and was in Kansas City. He said he would contact glass people and get back to me. 5 days later called back having not heard from Mark. He said he had been out for several days and would follow up. 5 days later having not heard back called again. Answer was glass people had not called him back. In discussion Mark said something about a Honda and I reitterated that it was a RAV4. He said he could not find a RAV4 under my name and I told him my wife and I had purchased together and she kept her maiden name. He said why didn't I tell him that before. Answer was that purchased in both name and I had no way of knowing that they entered it in their computer under her name. Mark said he would try glass people again and after asking several times how long it should take to get an answer he said when glass person called him back. Good new. Mark called back 20 min later and said he got glass person and wanted to know when car should be in St Louis next. I again explained it was in Kansas City and I did not expect it to be back any time soon. Son was last in at Christmas and the Christmas before that. Mark said he would call me back. Should not have this many problems with people following up, returning calls, doing as they have said they will do. March 5, 2013 Customer Service Rep from dealership contacted me almost immediately after I posted the review. Was very apologetic and said they were sorry for my experience and wanted to resolve the issue. They have made contact with a glass company in Kansas City, where the car is located with my son, and they have spoken to my son. With all the snow in Kansas City and my son’s schedule the windshield has not been repaired yet but any delay is now my son’s doing and not the dealership. Dealership said that they have dealt with people who I had the problems with and were working very hard to make sure that they gave the service that customers deserved. More
