Honest review. Overall process was OK. I would give 5 stars but when we were finished from finance it was , "here's your keys , thanks". I never bought a Hond Overall process was OK. I would give 5 stars but when we were finished from finance it was , "here's your keys , thanks". I never bought a Honda so I didn't know all the ins and outs. It took me several videos, my time and the manual to figure out everything and Honda isn't known for their friendly interface on the Ridgeline. It would be nice to have some snacks in the machine because getting low on suger and buying a vehicle are bad combination. Our fault for not thinking of that since this was our experience in the past with other dealership purchases, but it's on our list for the future for sure to bring something to eat. I don't expect the dealership to feed us, but having something in the machine to buy would definitely help the experience. Detail did a good job cleaning it up and having it ready to go quickly, it looked good and it was filled up with fuel. People are friendly and professional. Mike Knollhoff was a great sales guy, I would go back to him if the opportunity arises, and he seems genuine. The managers and finance guy are professional and friendly also. Finance did a good job bring patient with us. Things went well after the initial talks of offering a really low trade quote were hammered out. The sales manager definitely saved themselves a sale because we were ready to leave, he calmed the atmosphere and got to the point which literally saved a ton of time of going back and forth, and he was easy to talk to. I feel we got a good deal and I have had the experience of bad deals in the past, so experience tells me this. I know dealerships don't appreciate low ball offers so presenting realistic offers are expected from both sides in my book. There are too many resources to consider otherwise and that part sets the tone. I won't ask for yours for free so don't ask for mine for free. Overall, I feel comfortable buying another vehicle from them and I hope their service department is good because I will try them first and see how it goes. More
