We really came in to look, not buy but we were treated with such respect and courtesy, shown just what we were looking for and given the best deal possible we could not refuse. After the sale the same day with such respect and courtesy, shown just what we were looking for and given the best deal possible we could not refuse. After the sale the same day Shawn arranged to have 2 other salespersons (only because he had an appointment with someone coming in to the dealership) to drive our New Element to our house in Illinois with the 2nd guy following to get both salesmen back to the dealer. I consider that over the top, quality customer care. (My husband is not able to drive due to his eyesight right now)This action prevented us from having to get someone to bring us back to your dealership at a later day. All in all our expereince was great. We will refer anyone who is looking to you dealership. More
Did not have a good experience with West County Honda. I had purchased a Honda from the former dealership at that location some years back, so thought I would purchase my new CRV there. My salesmen did had purchased a Honda from the former dealership at that location some years back, so thought I would purchase my new CRV there. My salesmen did not have the exact model/color of the CRV on the lot, so they checked with their affiliates, and said they had the model in Chicago that had some extras which they would sell for the same price offered for my original request. That sounded quite promising, so I signed a contract for that vehicle and they requested a $1,000 deposit check. I was promised the vehicle was in Chicago and would be delivered in approx. 3 days. When I did not hear from anyone from West County, I called my salesman and asked if everything was alright. I was told that the dealer in Chicago would not "trade" West County my contracted vehicle for an equitable deal for West County Honda. When I reminded my salesman that we had a contract, he said he would check again and probably could get my vehicle in about 6 days. Again, nothing. I had to initiate all calls. No one called me to update me in any way unless I initiated a call. Again, the 6 days promised delivery date passed. I called after hearing NOTHING, and was told by the salesman that he would call me back that evening after doing another check. I never received that call. After about 2 weeks of this nonsense and no vehicle, I called and asked the salesman at West County what he decided to do about this, since he did not honor my contract and deliver the vehicle promised. He said they simply could not produce the vehicle due to supply problems. I said I needed my deposit back. Saleman asked if I wanted him to tear it up or did I want him to mail it. I said emphatically that he should mail it to me. He said he would put it in the mail. That was over two weeks ago. I still didn't receive that check in the mail. (I live 60 miles from the dealership). I spent $30 to stop payment on my check. There was little trust in me left for this sales job. I just found the vehicle I wanted at another Missouri dealer and went home with it the same day. More
They definitely had the best price but they had some trouble delivering the vehicle which they promised. They, however, seemed to work very hard at making sure we were satisfied and gave us a fantastic trouble delivering the vehicle which they promised. They, however, seemed to work very hard at making sure we were satisfied and gave us a fantastic price on the vehicle. All the other dealers we contacted claimed that if they matched the price of West County Honda they would be "losing money." If you are like me and consider price the most important factor in where to purchase a new vehicle, I would definitely recommend West County Honda. More
I made approximately 5 visits to WCH in search of a new car. From the moment of walking into the facility until the last, it was the best possible experience in purchasing a car that I could imagine. I w car. From the moment of walking into the facility until the last, it was the best possible experience in purchasing a car that I could imagine. I was offered every comfort in a squeaky clean and bright dealership showroom. It was abuzz with people ready to serve. Mike and Bill explained every detail I needed to make a purchase, and when I felt inadequate to carry through with the purchase, they were courteous and friendly and most kind to my out of town son who carried me the rest of the way. We were all flexible, and they were focused on my need for a car whether new or used. Mike drove a long distance south to obtain the car. There wasn't anything they would not do to grant me comfort and convenience. I wish all sales persons in this business could carry the stress load they must have (and I must have had) shouldered in these economic conditions. We were strangers and now we are friends. I would recommend them to anyone at any time. They dealt well with my inability to make quick decisions and walked me through the process with grace and poise. They understood my financial concerns and my specific needs in a car after asking many questions that might help them to help me make a perfect selection "FIT" for me. The price settled on was perfect; the car itself was all I had expected. They were mindful of every minute detail that would serve me best. I cannot thank my 2 salesmen for their patience, insight, and compassion for my particular needs in a car. They are great guys: friendly, respectful, attentive, great listeners and conversationalists, and super salesmen. I had done some homework before embarking on this process; they did not talk down to me or make me feel inadequate at any time. (As a woman, that happens sometimes...) Mike was there at every turn, available by phone to me as well as my son at any time. And, I must say that on several occasions, as I was waiting for one thing or another, the other salesmen in the area were also mindful of my presence, offering anything that might make me more comfortable. I will look forward to coming back for service, for I know that there will always be someone there to greet me with a big smile and their incredible willingness to serve and strive to be the best. This will be my last car to carry me on these earthly roads; I am excited and delighted that it is a Honda. Thank you! Thank you! Anne Nelson More
Now I have to admit that going into Saturday's visit I knew the deal was going to be hard because I am upside down on my trade in. However, the true sign of a professional is how they handle every situati knew the deal was going to be hard because I am upside down on my trade in. However, the true sign of a professional is how they handle every situation. When they quoted us numbers they didn't have Interest rate available to support what they were quoting. We said no to the offer and left. They said they would get back to us in the coming days with a new number because the deal was hard to figure. Chris then quoted "You guys have good credit, so I think we will be able to work something out. We just need some time." Ok fine. Call us when you know something. After, I reached out to my salesperson I received 3 automated responses that had no details in them from my visit on Saturday. No big deal, so they have crappy CRM. Doesn't bother me, lets see what they come back with. Tuesday rolls around and I finally hear back from my salesperson who admits the emails didn't come from her and that their finance department would have some numbers for me today. Finally, they have numbers. The numbers weren't any different than Saturday's numbers. Again, they couldn't back up the numbers with specifics on the financing. How can you quote a monthly cost without knowing all the numbers. I was then given some justification that they just use general numbers before they could go to a bank to agree on the loan. If it smells fishy, it must be fishy. On top of it all, my salesperson has someone in the background feeding them lines to tell me how great of deal this was. This is just my experience and perhaps I caught them on a bad day. This may at least save you time if you do decide to visit them. If you see these sames signs, just leave. At least you will have the rest of your saturday back. More

Don and Brad made sure that throughout our entire process of leasing a car that we were well taken care of. They answered all the questions we had and kept us informed on where we stood in the process of ob of leasing a car that we were well taken care of. My wife and I were looking to lease a new higher trim Odossey as our current contract was nearing maturity. I had the opportunity to work with Brad McGrew and negotiated the terms of the lease prior to Odossey as our current contract was nearing maturity. I had the opportunity to work with Brad McGrew and negotiated the terms of the lease prior to walking into the delaership. Brad was attentive and honest with our needs during the process. We talked several different times within a couple days and in each discussion he was respectful and followed up with questions in a timely manner. When we visited the dealership I was happy to see that the contract was 100% accurate from our verbal agreement. We were able to complete the paperwork and financing quickly. The best part of the experience was the level of service that my wife and I received. We really felt that Brad and his coworkers understood the importance of customer service. That sealed the deal for us. More
My husband and I went into West County Honda the other day and were impressed with the beautiful showroom. Mike Knolhoff was our salesperson and he was wonderful. We were going back and forth between the day and were impressed with the beautiful showroom. Mike Knolhoff was our salesperson and he was wonderful. We were going back and forth between the 2012 Civic and the 2011 Accord and Mike must've spent 3 hours with us! He was very nice and easygoing. Never once did my husband and I feel rushed or pressured like we did at other dealerships. Mike was very knowledgeable and experienced. After we finally decided on the 2011 Accord the paperwork portion (my least favorite part) was very smooth and didn't drag on like it has for us in the past with other dealerships. Then when we were finished we got to ring the gong and everyone cheered for us which was a lot of fun! I had a wonderful experience at West County Honda and with Mike Knolhoff! More
West County Honda recently purchased Stephen Vincel Honda, I had an existing lease from Vincel. West County was aggresively purchasing leases and after 3 forms of communication I spoke with their inte Honda, I had an existing lease from Vincel. West County was aggresively purchasing leases and after 3 forms of communication I spoke with their internet sales person Shelly. She called 5 times to make sure I was still coming in and wanted to know the exact time, she seemed quite pushy. When I arrived (30 minutes before I told her I would be there) I was told she had already gone home. I asked for my previous salesman from when the dealership was Vincel and was given the run-around as to whether he still worked there or not. So we were assigned a salesman who we explained our situation to (we had 1 lease and 1 car that we still had about 50% equity in) and we wanted to trade 1 (whichever would give us the bigger bang for the buck) for a new Odyssey and would entertain leasing or buying the new Odyssey, again whichever worked out the best for us. So the salesman says no problem, takes all of our information, inspects the cars, etc then takes us out in the Odyssey. While driving around he tells us he has been in the business for 21 days, as have 95% of the sales people at West County and he proceeded to make racist and disparaging commments about the races and ethnicities of his past customers. He tried to sell us on a Pilot rather than the Odyssey (presumambly because they either had more Pilots on the lot or because he was more knowledgeable of Pilots). Then he took us out in a Touring model, about 7K more than the EXL model we were interested in. I noticed the vehicle had 6,000 miles but the sticker listed it as new and when I asked the salesman played dumb and tried to downplay it. He then told me if we bought the Touring rather than the EXL (which they would have to go out of town to get he would give us the EXL price). When we returned to the dealership the salesman went to talk to the manager, he returned with marker all over a piece of paper, in the writting it said "$825 per month, trade in 2 cars". I asked him what that meant, he said trade in BOTH of your cars and your payment is $825 per month. I explained that was insane on many levels. He then came back from the manager again with "trade in 1 car, $775, Sorry!" I again explained that is insane for a Honda and how could trading one car lower the price from 2? He didnt know anything so I demanded the manager come over. After 5 minutes of them discussing it, the manager finally came over, he looked like he was on a high school internship. He was defensive from the moment he arrived, he first defended the price of the car and asked me what i thought it was worth. I told him what I thought, he argued with me. He then asked what I thought my car was worth and he laughed and mocked me. I told him it was time for us to leave I needed my car keys. He refused to give them to me and tried to argue more about the price, I had to ask for my keys 2 more times before he finally agreed to get them. Then while giving me my keys he yelled and told me to "get out of my dealership!" I received a phone call the next day from the general manager who said "I understand you had a pricing issue yesterday" I said "NO, you have a personel issue" and hung up. More
