I just finished purchasing a new 2012 Honda CRV from West County Honda. I worked with Kevin McCue (New Car sales). The car has to be located, so not delivered yet, however they estimate mid-February. My buying experience was one I would rate a 5 (Great) basically due to Kevin's professionalism. He was easy to work with and very straight forward. I also felt he represented me accurately during the time periods when they leave you alone at the table to speak to the sales manager, etc. This was the 5th Honda we have owned, however the first bought at this dealership. Assuming all goes well with the delivery of the car to me about when they stated (mid February), I will give this dealership a 5 rating. More
Heather, the internet sales person, e-maild me tens to times to convince me to come over and see. Finally we went there to see a touring odessey, Lee who received us at the door said it was sold although times to convince me to come over and see. Finally we went there to see a touring odessey, Lee who received us at the door said it was sold although I had called and talked to Heather right before we went there, I insisted that the vehicle was available and Lee checked and came back saying yeah it was availabe but on a test drive. Then a 2008 Odessey was presentd to us as 2010, then we were asked to put our offer on a car different from the one we were negotiating about. The entire time we felt that they were not serious about selling. They broke the deal on a silly price difference, we called to follow up on the vehicle few days latter and Heather said she'd check and call back but she never did, 10 days latter we called again and talked to Shelley, the internet sales manger, said she'd check and call back in 20 minutes but she never did! With such customer service and attitude, I can assure them they won't be in business for long and I will NOT recommend anyone to deal with them! More
After checking the Internet for a Honda CVR, Annie Lam at West County Honda contacted me stating that they had a CVR for $19300. When I arrived, I worked with Eric Davis and his sales manager. They did not have the CVR for #19300 in their inventory which should have been a red flag right away that they don't keep promises. They stated that if I signed papers, they would find me a CVR SE for $20000. So I signed, but then they said they must have a deposit or my title to my trade in. I reluctantly gave them my title. That evening, my husband and I decided to cancel the order so we did so in writing and requested the return of our title. The sales manager demanded that I come in to sign a form stating that I would not purchase the vehicle anywhere else. I told him that I would not do that and that he should return my title. They refused to return my title. After weeks of waiting for my title and back-and-forth communication, Todd (general manager) sent a check for $35 to cover the cost of replacing my title. More
I was quoted one price on the internet but when I came in to purchase the car the price was different. I asked not to have the dealership logo put on the car but they did anyway and I was told it would have a full tank of gas but there was only a 1/4 tank of gas when I left the dealership I was to exhausted to turn around and go back to the dealership to argue about a tank of gas. I have not purchased a car on my own in a long time and I was a little apprehensive about doing it by myself. Steve Ellis was extremely reasurring that all would go smoothly and it certainly did. He listened to what my needs were and what my financial limits were and knew exactly which car was right for me. He answered every question even before could think of them and made my experience at the dealership a true pleasure. Patti Kupfer came right out took my keys, I went in for a cup of coffee (very nice waiting area also) and within 5 minutes the tire pressure was fixed on my 2008 Honda Accord, which I purchased from West County Honda (formerly tephen Vincel Honda and had a great experience with Cindy Wilson (saleswoman at the time) and now have worked with Gary Binder. My car was a pre-owned certified Honda and my first Honda. Always have wanted one and now that I had her, I would never go back to anything else. What a dream to drive and so dependible.
