Starting problem 2011 chevy truck. They recommended Plugs , Wires, fuel system service to fix the problem. $1,750.00 later same problem. Dropped it second time, communication by text only , I'm just not used to it! He said " its better" ! Not sure what that meant. Usually " its fixed" is the correct term. No charge , but same start problem. Third drop off and no charge again and had the best man look at it. Its ready and recommended a new battery this time! I did the battery replacement myself and still the same starting issue. I Called a local Shop in Seymour TN. , he said there is a guy who works out of his own shop at his house and can fix anything! . I got the number and called him and over the phone told me sounds like the fuel pump. I took took it to him and he replaced the fuel Pump for $400 Parts and $350 labor. Fixed the problem ! Over the phone diagnosis! I want to know how did I drop almost 2 grand and 3 visits at West Chevy and they could not figure this out? Waited two weeks to Drop truck off with service department on 16th October. Tried numerous times to find out what was going on with service, was told they would call as soon as they find out what department on 16th October. Tried numerous times to find out what was going on with service, was told they would call as soon as they find out what is going on from tech. Told them I am 2hrs away and then there is a 1hr time change so I need 3hrs notice. The Service Department calls 7 days latter at 5:15pm on the 24th to say it’s ready to pick up and they are open till 7:30pm! Like I can magically be there by then! I show up this morning 25th and all the service department says it is at the other window. Didn’t even try to explain what was wrong, had to ask what was wrong and why I had to pay $300.00 for them to reprogram the cluster panel! If they had to replace the cluster panel if would have been covered under warranty. That makes no sense! The main part that I even drove that far was supposed to be on shelf according to the parts search from another dealership. Nope had to order it, wasn’t even told they would have it longer than 24hrs! Don’t know about Dealership but I will not use the service department or have my truck towed there for service!!! More

I had an issue affecting the xxxx mechanism on my 2019 Traverse. I took it to a local dealer and got the run around so i called the GM Customer service line. the lady verified that my vehicle was past the Traverse. I took it to a local dealer and got the run around so i called the GM Customer service line. the lady verified that my vehicle was past the warranty time and miles but gave me a case number and phone number. I called West (where I had purchased the vehicle) and spoke with Eddie. We made an appointment and I took it in on 12/20. The part had to be ordered so I left it there. West provided a rental vehicle and Eddie called me on 12/26 advising me that my vehicle was ready. I was updated daily via text. Somehow it was covered under warranty. I would highly recommend the service Dept. at West. More
