My experience with West Chevrolet I bought a 2016 Impala and it had some mechanical issues but it was taking care of immediately. Does not disclose all costs, adds hidden fees, changes terms I had visited other dealerships in the Knoxville area about purchasing a new car. They would not provide a cost estimate to me, and when pressed, they reneged on a previously agreed to waiving of a $500 fee, which they upped to $600. The finance manager was very rude, condescending, and untrustworthy. I spoke with a former employee of West Chevrolet who added that there are other added-on fees incorporated at the time of sale, which is why they do not give full price disclosure. Beware of this dealership- you will find much better deals with no hidden surprises if you travel to Sevierville or Clinton. More
Poor Customer Service I cant say that I had a positive experience at West Chevrolet. Running our business, the distraction of a new van purchase, financing, etc. did not help my my thought process. I think that the West Chevrolet salesperson and management recognized this and took advantage of the moment during the paperwork process. I requested out the door pricing and was presented with a price that was higher than I expected. When I examined the deal sheet, the scribbling below the number I thought was the final amount could be akin to fine print. Needless to say the amount did not include taxes, tag, etc. I argued one charge and it was removed. Another area of disappointment was that there was no explanation of accessories that were added on to the van by the dealer. Our specific vehicle qualified for $350 in upfit cash. No one took the time to explain that the upfit cash had already been used on certain items that might not be necessary add-ons. I wanted to find out if my assumption was correct about the upfit cash being used for the dealer add -ons. I called the salesperson, who did not answer my call. I was able to reach him at the dealership and as we began our conversation he made no mention of receiving my message. However, he was always willing to return a call our text. He also stumbled and stuttered when I asked for information regarding the upfit cash and passed me along to a sales manager. I take responsibility for my actions of buying this vehicle and should have taken more time to examine the paperwork. My only recommendation is buyer beware at West. Take your time to fully examine the deal as we did not due to our rush to buy a company vehicle. One other suggestion to management and salespeople at West is to contact your customers via email, phone, or text. Don't ignore or forget about them after the sale. I would have expected a higher level of integrity and customer service from a "hometown dealership." More

Customer Service in all areas of a business is very important to me and with West Chevrolet, I received the very best. The whole process from beginning to end I would rate as outstanding in every aspect. I cannot even begin to express how wonderful that the sales associate made the experience from beginning my search of a new vehicle all the way to after I purchased a vehicle. He worked with me and was aiming to please in whatever it would take to earn my business. Together with the sales associate, the gentleman who apprised my trade in vehicle all the way to my check out with the finance person was excellent. Everyone there was so friendly and pleasant to work with. I will continue to recommend this dealership to anyone that I can; and also the sales associate that I had, David who is the Internet Sales Associate. More

This is our second new car purchase from West and we were not disappointed with the service from the moment we stepped on the lot to driving away in our beautiful new car. The sales staff was helpful but not pushy, helping us find the car we wanted. Once we found the vehicle we wanted the purchasing process was very smooth and easy. Our tradeins were evaluated and a very fair price was offered for both. Before we left, every feature was explained and cell phones were set up on Bluetooth. Would we recommend West and the Equinox to other buyers; we already have! West is the Best!! More
