Oops!...I did it again. For the second time in as many days I made the plunge and bought another car from Wesley Chapel Toyota. I have been taking my Toyota vehicles to Wesley Chapel Toyota for several years. However, this experience was by far the best. My service advisor Yanelly Frias was extemely professional and helpful. She did not try to upsell me with extra service, which I deplore. The service I asked for was completed in a timely manner at a good price. Yanelly informed me that on my next visit I will probably want to replace the air filters as they were getting dirty. There was even a cold bottle of water waiting for me in the car. I do want to single out Yanelly for going above and beyond on one issue. By mistake the inside air filter was left out of the car when it was brought around to me after completion of the service. I did not notice. Yanelly however did and called me on my cell phone immediately to inform me of the mistake. I was only a few miles down the road when the call came in from Yanelly. She was not only exteremly apologetic but stated when I came back she would have a brand new air filter installed. As promised, when I returned a man was waiting for me in the Service drop off area. I never exited the car. He opened the door put in the filter and I was on my way in about two minutes. I was quite impressed and will be returning when any of my Toyota vehicles need service. I would be the first to admit that buying a car is a stressful experience for me. However, both Mr. Dallaero (customer relations) and Mr. Connetti (sales manager) placed my wife and me at ease. There were no high pressure sales tactics, no push to make us give them an immediate answer. They allowed us time to think about our purchase and feel comfortable with our decision. The atmosphere was very customer friendly. From the freshly baked cookies to the clean, spacious showroom and courteous staff we were made to feel right at home. The discussion on price, and trade-in value was simple and direct (no seeing the manager several times). I selected a vehicle and we arrived at a deal, which I believe was very fair. Jack was professional, pleasant, and personable. He took his time in explaining the values other than the vehicle itself. This included the warranty and maintenance offered - which was a HUGE selling point! So, to wrap up - my experience was one that is not typical when purchasing a vehicle (no game playing). This was the worse experience I have ever had! They will not give me my down payment back of $1000 even though the deal did not go through. They are horrible to try and communicate with. I made several call not give me my down payment back of $1000 even though the deal did not go through. They are horrible to try and communicate with. I made several calls and voice mails and emails and rarely got a response. I honestly believe Chris stole my $1000 or they lost it. (it was cash but clearly states on my loan I paid it) they are refusing to give me my money back. Currently working with a lawyer. PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! More
I had a great experience. I took in my Camary for service and came home with a RAV4! My lease was coming to an end in 8 months, so I was beginning to think about what car I would get next. While having the Camary in for service I decided to talk with a sales rep about the need for a car with higher seating (I'm short) and tho the Camary is great it was hard to see over the dash and hood. I loved the RAV4 immediately. Drove it home for a test drive so my husband could see and drive it. The deal was made to fit my needs!
