After many years of working with one of the best sales associates at Wesley Chapel Toyota, I was surprised to learn yesterday that Mike Brockway has retired! Mike has always been my (and our) go-to person associates at Wesley Chapel Toyota, I was surprised to learn yesterday that Mike Brockway has retired! Mike has always been my (and our) go-to person for all things cars, which is why we’ve proudly owned Toyota vehicles for over 14 years—more than 14 cars in total. However, during yesterday’s visit to the dealership, I had the pleasure of working with Luisfer Ortiz, and I have to say, he did a phenomenal job! While “replacement” isn’t the right word (as Mike Brockway is truly irreplaceable), Luisfer exceeded my expectations with his exceptional service. Luisfer was incredibly patient, understanding, and never pushy. He took the time to listen carefully to my needs and made sure the entire experience was focused on me, not just making a sale. His respect for my preferences and dedication to ensuring my happiness, whether with a new car or simply the experience, was remarkable. If you have ever been to a car dealership you know how stressful and overwhelming this can be. Man am I glad that I was able to work with Luis. This was my second car and man it felt so seamless and Luis was able to give me words of wisdom as I was so nervous about making this purchase. He worked really well in explaining what may happen with pricing and what may not. You just don’t get that person-ability at car dealerships these days. If I ever buy another car or have a friend wanting to buy one. I will send them to Luis. The gentleman that also sold me the car at the end was super cool as well. From there we went thru the numbers. Next it was off to Alexis Rodriguez, Financial Professional. Alexis was professional in every way and more. She went over every form that I needed to sign, she answered all of my questions with a smile. When we were done,she walked me out to meet Jack who met us an put my plate on. We have had an amazing experience the last two times we have needed to get a new vehicle. He goes above and beyond to find what he knows we are looking for. He finds vehicles in our price range and works with us to find the perfect fit for our family that is in our budget. He was so good with our kids during the whole process and made the normally dreaded car buying experience easy, quick, and smooth. I hope I don’t need another vehicle for awhile (let’s pray for no more accidents), but I know who I will go see in the future when our family needs another vehicle! THIS DEALERSHIP REALLY SUCKS! DON'T BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE CROOKS AND CHEATERS. Let me explain. My next door neighbor is a very nice elderly gentleman, (who does not do comput DON'T BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE CROOKS AND CHEATERS. Let me explain. My next door neighbor is a very nice elderly gentleman, (who does not do computer)bought a 2024 Tacoma from WC Toyota, and they ripped him off. He bought all the add-on warranties for the new truck. The dealership only gave him one ignition key and no spare key for the door or ignition. The truck also came with 4 wheel locks on the wheels. When he asked for a key to them, they said they would have to replace them with another set and a new key as they had lost the one for the wheel set lock on the truck. After waiting for 3 hours, they had finally changed the wheel locks. But now they wanted to charge him $60 for the wheel lock key and $90 for a second key for the door locks. (nothing was said about this cost when he bought the truck) During the 3 hours he waited he read the warranties he had just purchased and it clearly states he can get free replacement keys for the ignition, doors and wheels once a year for the truck as long as it is kept under the Toyota warranty. On showing this to the manager, the manager says this does not cover the keys he didn't get with the vehicle and he had to pay for any extra key for the vehicle. Can you believe that? This just reminded me of why I don't use this dealership for the past 8 years as they screwed me over also on my 2009 Toyota Tundra. I now have a new Tundra from Toyota of Tampa Bay, where they treat you right. A little more distance to drive, but they don't screw you over. Don't go to Wesley Chapel, you will get screwed.
