I booked my car on 16Jul'22. There was a offer from Toyota to finance at @1.9%. I was told that any offer from Toyota will be honored at the time of final billing. I got a call for final invoicing and delivery on 11Aug'22. The 1.9% offer was still valid. However, finance guy asked for additional $2000 to finance at that rate. Another call to negotiated it to $1000. I got 5 calls in an hour on the same day to either agree on the additional amount or deny the deal within 2 hours. 2 hours? are you kidding me? I then contacted Toyota directly and not sure if they got some feedback from Toyota, I finally could finance at 1.9% without additional payment. Appreciate Sales man Kamaal, who was fair during sales interaction and also kind to drive 60 miles to deliver the vehicle at my doorstep. He was accompanied by his son [why not a driver from dealership?] to drive him back. Another offer denied; 2 years 25000 miles free service from Toyota. I was charged $699 for Toyota platinum package with the overlapping coverage. More
