Mike put my new Corolla in the air conditioned bay area so I could check it out before I finalized the sale so we didn't suffer in the heat. Took it for a quick test drive to make sure I was comfortable driving and quickly finished up his paperwork when we returned. I was to see Matt in finance to finish up next. Waited at my table for at least 30 minutes without any word on what was happening. Better communication during that time would be a good thing. Decided to call Mike on his phone to see what was going on and he took us right in to see Matt. I was getting pretty tired by then but thought it would just be a lot of signatures since I was already preapproved. I was not happy that in the middle of everything Matt wanted me to see what the difference in payments would be if I went the no money down/full price finance option. He spent quite a bit of time typing away on the computer even though I told him I was not interested and wouldn't really give me a good reason why he was pursuing this. I eventually just flat out said I didn't care what the other offer was, I already had my financing planned for what was best for me. We got back on track and finished up but I was a bit put out by that. All in all this was the most satisfying car buying experience I've had. The staff and employees are courteous, respectful, and helpful. Its facility is modern, well-designed and comfortable. The service and sales departments are managed and located in the facility to allow for necessary integration as well as distinction of customer and traffic flow. The values of community support, involvement and contribution are both encouraged and apparent. Although the surrounding highway traffic flow to the facility is busy and congested, the facility makes excellent use of its location, utilizing a large off-highway tract and access to provide for substantial product inventory along with convenient customer parking, and a safe, non-distracting area for test drives. My only suggestion for improvement would be to clarify with more obvious signage or other means the best approach to the facility's entrance. The surrounding roads and traffic patterns are confusing and access to the facility is not obvious. Also, once on the facility's campus, it would be helpful to have some indication or direction to sales, service and customer parking. More
