Greedy dealer I have been in contact for the last 2 weeks with a salesman trying to buy a car from here. The car is 4 hours away from me and with the hurricane, gas I have been in contact for the last 2 weeks with a salesman trying to buy a car from here. The car is 4 hours away from me and with the hurricane, gas shortage working out the kinks online is very important to me. Anyways I've dealt with multiple dealers over the years (6 cars over the last 13 years) and have found some will make things work to sell cars and others still use shady old tactics. This place EVERYTHING they do is shady!!! Against my better judgement and red flags I stuck it out. They make it seem like they are working for you, but everything that is done is to benefit them. Seems like always 1 step forward 2 steps back. My last 2 loans have been a 2.25% over 75 months and my current car is 84 at 4%. So the car I'm looking at they say I qualify for 84 months at 9.9%????? Really!!!! Then they worked extra hard to get it lowered to 5.5%. But after all the hard work now they tell me they are losing money and I can only buy the car if they force GAP on the loan. I was literally told "We are losing money on the front end and need to make up for it, I'm sure you can understand that"????? Do yourself a favor and shop around or travel. Places like this will ruin your car buying experience. I'm sure they will sell your interest rate at a higher level, charge you for a ton of unneeded snake oil once in the finance office. How can a dealer lose money when the asking price of the car doesn't change, dealer fees, doc fees, selling loans at higher rates....... it doesn't add up. I do work for a car dealer and know that this isn't the way to do business. More

I Got a brand new car while looking for a used one I just went in to receive the gifts from the flyer. I was asked about a car and I told Thomas it would be a waste of both of our time. My husband went out and gave his information and the finance guy started to work.After a few days we were given the same answer that we had heard many times. Sorry, not enough credit, need more down payment. Same old story. My husband called me at work and said the money lenders just didn't want to lend on a used vehicle. But was I interested in a new car that was the color blue I loved. I said to go ahead and try and let me know. Well we got the carribean blue Tuscon and I couldn't be happier. The payment is more than we wanted but that will be ok. I got my car Bruce got to keep his work truck, and we felt throughly BLESSED More

My Werner experience Having your car serviced/repaired is never a pleasant experience. However, if there were such a thing, it would exist at Werner Hyundai.
