We recently worked with Lenny Ball of Wellesley Toyota on the purchase of a 2005 4Runner. Found Lenny to be extremely responsive and knowledgeable and thankfully, not pushy at all. Rather than saying something like the "brakes checked out fine" --Lenny reviewed the findings of the service team in detail and gave specific and accurate answers to our questions (e.g. front brakes are new and rear has 60% left.) A couple of issues needed follow-up, he was thorough and forthcoming, -- qualities you don't encounter very often these days! More

I was looking for a specific FJ Cruiser and they found one for me that they were going to swap with Boch Toyota and Boch sold it out from financing. I was looking for a specific FJ Cruiser and they found one for me that they were going to swap with Boch Toyota and Boch sold it out from underneath them, so they found another one and installed all the accessories I wanted for the same original price we agreed upon. A lot of leg work on their part (I think). They gave me a solid price for the trade-in, same as the kbb trade-in value, so I was happy. In the market for a minivan for my wife, I did a lot of research on our new Sienna XE AWD. I requested quotes over the internet from about 10 dealers in Boston area. Wellesley Toyota responded quickly with the best quote. My wife visited Wellesley Toyota for a test drive and Gregg gave her a written quote on the car! I had never seen that before. I shopped the written quote at a few dealers and everyone told me they could not come close and that Wellesley Toyota is probably running the bait and switch scheme on us. It was not the case. Gregg found us the exact car we were looking for in the hard-to-find color that we wanted in a few days. We highly recommend this dealership. They are not the high pressure sales folks that you normally see at other dealerships. They treat you with respect and dignity, plus they offer you the best price around. Why would you shop anywhere else? More
We went to Toyota of Wellesley to see a used Lexus hybrid SUV that we saw on the internet. Honestly, if we hadn't really wanted that particular car, we probably would have given up at some point during the s SUV that we saw on the internet. Honestly, if we hadn't really wanted that particular car, we probably would have given up at some point during the sales process due to their frustrating disorganization. That said, we can't fault their friendliness and customer service. We went to check out the SUV on New Years Day, assuming it was a big auto sales day, only to find the dealership closed (our fault, since we hadn't thought to call ahead to confirm they were open). Jeff Tang and Nai were there plowing snow off the lot and cleaning the cars and were extremely helpful; they stopped to ask if they could help and when we said we'd driven a long way, they opened the dealership and let us test drive the SUV. We put down a deposit and brought our trade-in a few days later to be checked. Things went downhill at that point. Jeff was the official salesperson but he was on vacation during the week we finalized the deal, so we kept getting input from different people. We were missing part of the paperwork for the trade-in; one person said we needed it, another person said we didn't. We wasted hours looking for it and asked over the phone for someone at the dealership to look in the glove compartment of our trade-in. Despite promising they would, they didn't; we found it in the glove compartment of the trade-in when we went back to clean it out the final time. (Turns out we didn't need it after all, though -- what a waste of time.) One person said we could have the SUV inspected on Saturday; then we were told they don't do inspections on Saturdays. On the day we were supposed to pick it up, we asked them to call both of us the moment it was ready, since there was supposed to be a snowstorm that evening. We didn't hear from them, and when we called at the end of the day we were told that they were waiting for us to arrive. All in all, they were very disorganized, and it was very frustrating for us. We paid cash for the SUV and were probably the easiest sale they'd had in a while, yet they refused to work with us on the price and then were disorganized with almost every step of the process. (The actual financial and registration transaction did go smoothly; Mike in Finance was helpful and organized and got everything done when promised.) Jeff made sure we were aware he would be on vacation but, in retrospect, he should have transitioned the deal to another salesperson who could oversee it all so that there weren't a bunch of different people giving us misleading information. More
Alens and Mike were a pleasure to work with. Mike was fabulous; he talked us through every step and gave us good solid financial advice when we asked for it. I had a VERY positive experience with Frank Zoll. He was knowledgable, informative, patient, and very straightforward which I appreciated. In the end, we got a slightly cheaper deal at another dealership so we ended up buying the car elsewhere, but if I were to recommend anyone in this area to a friend, it would be this dealership because of Frank. The salesmen from the minute I spoke on the phone to the time I entered the facility were nothing but warm & welcoming. I want to thank especially Shaun & Lenny for their professionalism. They were very welcoming and very knowledgable about the Toyota Corolla S. I told both of them that I would recommend anyone I knew that was looking for a car to go to Wellesley Toyota. We had shopped at 3 other area dealerships looking for the perfect 4Runner before coming to Wellesley Toyota. Kinda wish we had gone there first...we would have saved alot of time. Jeff took the time to make sure we found the truck we wanted at the price we were willing to pay. We did not have to negotiate long, and he and Shaun were up front with everything and provided a wealth of knowledge. Every question was answered, any concern we had was addressed, and overall it was a great buying expirience. Hand contols needed to be installed for me in order to drive the vehicle and they took care of everything. The truck was detailed and ready to drive off the lot within a week of signing the papers. Jeff even took time from his vacation to be there when we picked up the truck. We are very happy with our new purchase and look forward to a great relationship with the dealership and service department. More
I initially contacted Toyota of Wellesley through email. I was looking for a used Toyota 4 Runner with a strict budget. Upon arriving at the dealership to look around we were greeted by employees that immediately sought out a Sales Rep to assist us. At no point did we feel pushed in any direction, but rather informed about the cars on the lot, the deals, and the options to consider. Alens spent several hours with us both in the lot and at his desk going over the 4 Runner I was looking at and the Corolla I was trading in. Craig went over the numbers and the financing while I test drove the vehicle. I felt comfortable and confident in my decision and working with the folks at Toyota of Wellesley, and signed the first forms to get the process rolling. The very next day I was in the Sales office signing the remaining forms with Michael. He was patient and clear answering all of our questions. I drove off the lot at Toyota of Wellesley thrilled to be in an even BETTER 4 Runner than I intended.
