Let me be clear on this. I'm 40 years old, have bought several cars, and have visited many car dealerships over the years. This was by far the best auto buying experience I have ever had anywhere at anyt several cars, and have visited many car dealerships over the years. This was by far the best auto buying experience I have ever had anywhere at anytime. Price, service, honesty, full-disclosure, friendliness, and professionalism. Our salesman Renato ("Rey") was perfect or slightly better. Internet Sales Mgr. Sean was just as great. The trade-in value we received on our 115,000 mile 2002 Chevy Prism was literally double the amount we were offered at other dealerships. And the price we paid for our 21,000 mile pre-owned 2008 Pontiac Vibe was Extrememly Competative. Doc fees were Very Reasonable - hundreds less than some other dealerships. We bought a beautiful car and got a great deal. Again, THE BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! 'Nuff said. More

Background: I used kbb.com to solicit some internet quotes for a new Sienna LE AWD, and got replies from all the dealers I specified: One was vague about pricing, providing only recent 'average' sale prices; another gave me a price quote in line with the 'averages' cited by the other dealer. In both cases, I got 2-3 'welcome' emails first from the dealership before they cut to the chase and gave me a number. I also didn't wasn't informed if they had the car in stock or not. Wellesley Toyota: I got a single email back that was as short (but to the point) as you can imagine...Greg Lavin introduced himself, stated the list price of the vehicle, what he was willing to sell it for, and said that availability is limited but he had a silver one in stock (unlike the others, I did not get any other fluffy emails introducing the dealership to me). For good measure, he included the specifications from KBB from my original inquiry as a post script. The price was much better that the other dealers and below the expected KBB suggested price, and after calling to confirm the quote and other associated costs, I ended up stopping by the dealership later that day to test drive the vehicle. In fact, I closed the deal then and drove the same vehicle off the lot the very next day! Greg was very friendly, no-nonsense, and without the usual cross/up sell of other accessories and services. Due to the speed of the transaction, I had to return a few days later to get the registration and inspection sticker, and the service team seemed great for the 10 minutes this process took. My only 'constructive comment' is that I relied on help from their financing department, and I probably should've shopped the auto loan separately; I accepted a Toyota-financed loan, which has average rates. But service-wise I had no complaints. More
I dropped by one evening to looking at the Toyota Matrix. I have visited a handful of dealerships prior to this and was armed and ready to deal with expected pressure from the salesman. I felt comfortable and relaxed talking with him. He honestly answered all my questions and gave me more useful information than anyone else I had spoken to before. He understood that I was just looking that evening and would be back with my family to have a closer look at the vehicles I was interested in the following weekend. My family traveled in from NH to meet Lenny and see the cars. The prices were the best we had seen yet and they had exactly what I was looking for. Lenny was wonderful with the family and gave us the perfect balance of being there to answer questions and giving us the space we needed to make our choice. I love my new car and would highly recommend this dealership to others. Thanks Lenny! More

His service, both on the phone in person was highly respectful and effective. I found him to be a man of his word who followed up on his promises. I felt that all members of the Wellesley Toyota dealership were cordial and I did NOT encounter any of the normal games one might see at a dealership. All of them understood that I had done my homework and knew the range of acceptable values for my trade in and their used vehicle. The prices on the used Toyotas at Wellesley were competitive and within the limits one would expect after researching on Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds. Overall, I would highly recommend purchasing a used vehicle from Toyota of Wellesley. More

I had gone to a couple of other dealerships and I did not like the the way the salesperson dealt with me. When I got to Wellesley Toyota, I felt Lenny was honest and easy to deal with. He did not pressure like the the way the salesperson dealt with me. When I got to Wellesley Toyota, I felt Lenny was honest and easy to deal with. He did not pressure me for a sale and when I did decide to buy a Matrix and found out that it had been in an accident, he did not make a big deal when I told him I was going to cancel the sale. I actually felt bad and told him to call me if something came in that he thought I would be interested in. He did call me and I ended up buying a Toyota Matrix from him. I had not bought a car for 13 years so I was very nervous about the whole ordeal. Lenny walked me thru it and he did not pressure me one bit. He told me to make sure I was happy with that car and if I wasn't don't buy it. I just feel that Lenny Ball is a very sincere person. I would recommend anyone to go to Wellesley Toyota and ask for Lenny. More

I had a FANTASTIC experience at Wellesley Toyota. I found the exact car I was looking for at Wellesley Toyota on autotrader.com, I sent an email and received a response from Ted within 10 min. Ted and I communicated multiple times through out the day - I was extremely impressed with the prompt response and how helpful he was - extremely nice and very comforting, especially since I live in Maine and they are a Mass. dealer. I liked that Ted called me on the phone, it gave me a chance to communicate with a real person which I think is so important over the internet. Ted put together a sales agreement for me and I made an appointment to come down and meet with Lenny a few days later. Lenny called me right away to introduce himself and immediately made me feel comfortable. When I arrived at my appointment, I met Lenny, who then went out of his way to make sure that my fiance and I were happy (we're hard to please too). He answered all of our questions and was very helpful. Lenny's engaging personality and willingness to go the extra mile really made our experience worth the 3.5 hour drive. Needless to say, I bought the car - which is in incredible condition and exceptionally clean - I got what I feel was an amazing deal and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend Wellesley Toyota to my friends. If I ever buy another car, I would definitely make the 3.5 hour trip back to see Lenny. More
