Jack Mendosa was extremely responsive by email and then also when we came to the dealership, and met him face to face. He was courtious, helpful, not the typical pushy sales person. In July 2009 we moved back to Boston and needed a car. My husband was on a business trip, my job was to purchase the 2010 Toyota Sienna XLE. The experience I had at Wellesley Toyota was a dream. Dan Lombardi, my salesperson, was as kind and patient as could be. He answered all my questions and explained all the features on the Sienna I was looking at. Dan was not pushy, it was almost as if he was there just to teach me about the car; not to sell me the car. I walked into the dealer at 10am and left at 11:30am, owning a car. I should add that I had my dog with me (as I was unable to leave him at home because it was being painted)! You may be thinking, "she probably paid too much". I can assure you that my husband did the cost comparisons on edmunds and Blue Book and when it was time for the price part, I called my husband overseas, he asked if they would include an after market feature and take care of it being installed (which they did) and the deal was signed. Now, for the best part...my dog had to go in for routine surgery and I was unpacking the house. My husband was still on the business trip. Toyota of Wellesley's Kevin F. McCarthy the Business Manager, arranged to have the car delivered to me at home in Newton. WE had shopped at another dealer, which gave us one price, then when we decided to buy, raised the price and would not negotiate. The total experience was pleasant and we actually enjoyed working with Greg, the business manager and two other employees at the dealership. Gave me the best deal right off the bat - on the phone TOO. No other dealership could even come close - it was a absolutely great price for my Camry SE. And I loved it. It was great service through and through, even when I picked up the car. Mr. Mendosa - explained things to me on car I would have never been able to figure out on my own. Seriously! He as extremely professional and never pushy and always courteous. Mr. Mendosa - did seem in a bit of rush during the whole process, but it's understandable due the shortage of staff - which of course is due to the economy. Heck, even I was in a hurry as well - so it worked out just fine. I even already recommended Mr. Mendosa to a close friend. That's how much I enjoyed my experience there. And no,I'm not paid for this. Mr. Mendosa and the business manage Courtney, even got me the College Grad Rebate and the 3.9% financing. I couldn't be happier. My name is Biau Wong. And I would recommend this dealership over all the others I have been dealing with in the Boston area. You would think the bigger dealership would give you a better price, but they were the worse and most expensive - like IRA Toyota or Herb Chambers. They have the monopoly and they tell you that they're the biggest and cheapest, but that's not the case.
