Wellesley Toyota responded

Dear Alicia999 (Mrs. Jackie Philips), I apologize that Toyota Motor Sales declined to repair your 2005 Toyota Corolla under warranty. However, to accuse publicly that the dedicated and honest workers here at Wellesley Toyota "encouraged you to junk your car, refused to provide you with warranty information and repair costs, and fabricated/mislead your insurance adjuster" is not only sly, but utterly disrespectful. As per our recorded telephone conversation, you stated that Able Towing had offered to junk your vehicle, thus not Wellesley Toyota. We provided you with your vehicle's warranty information over the telephone, but you demanded it in writing: This vehicle that you purchased used from Old Town Garage with 24k miles had an in-service warranty date of 7/22/2005, which unfortunately expired before your engine seized. On your behalf, we moved forward to ask Toyota for financial assistance to repair this vehicle. Toyota asked that you provide proof of oil change receipts, of which you had none from an authorized Toyota dealership. When our service manager Danny Viola told you the truth that the main crank bearing seized due to increased friction caused by failure to change the engine oil, you then proceeded to accuse us that the engine blew due to a ECU (electronic control unit - I.E- Computer) recall. This is incredulous. When Toyota denied assistance, you decided to pursue your insurance agent for reimbursement on an engine replacement, claiming alleged water damage from flash floods back in March 2010. We were not going to play your game of dishonesty and insurance fraud. Clearly, your intentions of slandering Wellesley Toyota's reputation because we do not agree to follow along in your unethical practices are clear. You towed your vehicle to another dealership that agreed to falsify the statement required by your insurance agent, so that you would not have to pay for your engine that you did not maintain. Congratulations for defrauding the American people by means of insurance fraud. Please continue your partnership in crime with profit-only driven Toyota dealerships. Here at Wellesley Toyota, we choose the moral high ground.
